"Oh Maki." He pulled Makis close to him. "I'm sorry."
"I don't know what that was..... what ever it was its gone now. I'm fine." she smiled.
He sat down on the forest floor and pulled out his phone. He called the house. He wanted to see if they knew anything.

he jumped when the phone rang and fumbled with it as his hands shook before he could answer "h-hello?"
he sighed softly "lets get you out of the house for a little wile..."

"Where are we going?" She asked, delighted to go outdoors.
"Maki?" His fears were coming true. Maki shouldn't have been able to answer the phone, not with how Roy was leaving him. trapped in his emotions.

"Kent... Kent what's going on? I can't get in to his thoughts... I can't get in to his head... all I know is general things like were he is..." he was panicking a little now
"shopping, you need cloths remember?" he smiled down at her and held out his hand

She smiled and took his hand. "Really... Your going to take me shopping?"
"I think we lost him Maki. He gave in to his beast. I can't make listen. He ran off. Our Roy is gone." He tried hard not to start crying on the phone. It was almost as if his brother had died.

he balled his fist and punched the wall next to the bed "damn it..." he started to cry and shake his head "there's... no going back from that... is there?"
he nodded "of course. I can't have my love walking around school in my cloths now can I? she needs to look hot"

She stood and kissed him, "Does that mean were going to school tonight?"
"I.... I don't know Maki. I don't think there is." He started to cry himself as he said it. His voice quivering.

"kent... come home..." he was sitting on the edge of the bed now, holding his head in his throbbing hand
he shook his head "shopping might take up all of our time"

"Hmmm.... your right... But if we have time?" She asked.
"I'll be home soon....real soon." He said.
He came up behind Maki and wrapped his arms around him.

he hung up the phone and just cried in to his own hands

"Yay...." she kissed him for a moment. "Thanks baby... I'm gonna get ready to go."
He hung up the phone and started sobbing. He failed. He wanted needed to bring his brother home and couldn't even do that. He howled in morning.

"I won't, I promise." she practically skipped off to the bathroom. She brushed out her hair, braiding it here and there. There was no make up anywhere so she had to go without. She went back to the bedroom after about five minutes, "Babe where are my shoes?"
He shifted back to animal and howled again, Long and loud. He knew it had to have been his fault for loosing his brother. His fault for not protecting Erin. His fault for Rin's pain right now. He whimpered and whined between howls.

he lay down and covered his face with his paws
he handed her some sandles "I grabbed them before you moved in with me"

she smiled, "Clever... and thank you." she slipped them on. "I'm ready when you are."
He started to walk, following Roys scent idly.
