Naw...
I decided it was time to create a new character.
I mean I had teh same one for 3 years. I wanted a new one. =D

Dante Decker According to the Chaos Space marine Codex (4th ed) its basically a Gyrojet weapon. In that each round is propelled by a rocket motor, but unlike the Gyrojet weapons it carries and explosive with a delayed impact fuse. Oh yeah, I know they're a gyrojet projectile. What I was thinking of was some fan website that did a total anatomy of a bolt. It was pretty nifty. Dunno if it could be considered accurate (and definitely non-canon, but eh, recent 40k canon sucks anyway), but it was very detailed. Just can't remember the site for the life of me.

Interesting but it refers to the weapon as 35-40mm bore which seems a bit excessive...

Am I the only one who gets really kind of annoyed when some douche makes a character with enormous effin' angel wings just so he can be like YEAH HE'S A FALLEN ANGEL and make up some sobby backstory?
Which wouldn't be so bad if the person in question wasn't also like
YEAH HIS WINGS ARE MADE OUT OF ******** METAL.
(He can still fly, for some obscure reasoning.)
AND HE PULLS OUT HIS FEATHERS AND THROWS THEM AT YOU.
But not like knives, like throwing darts.
Oh, and despite how bulky and difficult to maneuver with wings would be--while on the ground, at least--he's still capable of doing all kinds of nifty rolls and cartwheels and dodgy moves really fast?

I think it makes sense, considering the size of the actual barrel - it'd be way too big for a .75 Non-Space Marine ones are listed a bit below, and they're put at around the traditional 20-25mm. Still HUEG, but not monstrous.

Making a slick double barreled (probably over under, cause that's nifty) big bore in say 20-25mm with a bandoleer of all sorts of specialty ammo I can see. I cant say I see Dante making a hand held 40mm AGL, I just don't see him accepting on the spot. Maybe as a government contract, but even then hed be left going 'uh... wha?'
