*Presses herself onto the door of her chambers and peeks out the peep hole to make sure the stone corridor is completely empty. ninja She grabs her feathered staff and opens the door slowly peeking out carefully as she does. Wearing the huge snake she's rented a few times and holding a live chicken she quickly goes to Vault #3 and does the secret combination on the pad, plus the typical security measures and locks herself inside to perform an ancient ritual to give thanks for her pregnancy. She just hopes this chicken cooperates and that she's fast enough so it doesn't screech too loud before she can behead it. ninja Looks like it's "chicken" for dinner tonight. *

((Psy is getting freaky )) Icy Reign {{ rofl Yay for inspiration! xd I bet you could auction those off as a cursed item. I've always found crocheting and sewing fascinating. heart I would have to have someone start my crocheting off, but it's been years since I've done any of that. I can't wait to see the finished product. 3nodding Speaking of, any latest projects you've worked on?}} ((Well I did that skirt way back for ACon last June, I also did the majority of my sisters one outfit for it. I was literally sewing in the hotel room rofl I started a new skirt for Ikkicon just last Sunday though. Haven't work on much "real" clothing as of late though.))

Then I think I'll be good to go. I have an insane amount of my houndstooth velvet fabric left still.))

*Well the chicken was pretty cooperative and it isn't the first time this Mistress has had to go and fetch a "fresh" bird. Palmira showed her just how it's done back home growing up. With one swift and sure whack with the cleaver, that chicken didn't even know what was coming or what hit him. Quick and efficient…not so much "mess" that way. She held the bird tightly until it stopped moving and then strung it up by its feet so it could bleed out properly.
Once the chicken was down to just a few drips now and again, she chopped off the feet to hang and dry. Those tallness will come in handy for later. First things first, she sat and pulled all the feathers she could, then dipped the carcass in wax so the pin feathers would come out nicely. Once that was all done and she was satisfied, she figured it would be best to gutt it in the kitchen.
She took the bird, exited the vault and went back to her chambers. Removed her rubber gloves and texted Kyle to get someone into Vault #3 to clean up the feathers and the blood. She got on a fresh pair of gloves and made a precise incision by the neck and tail region to be able to reach in and gutt the bird, rising with cold water and making sure the cavity was immaculate. None of that stringy stuff hanging of the rib cage or anything. CLEAN as a whistle!
She then prepped the fresh chicken, seasoned and stuffed the bird with a nice fresh lemon cut in half. This would not only lend a nice flavor, but keep it moist. She trussed the bird using those real nice skewers she likes and tied the legs together with a cooking safe silicone band…much more handy than cooking string. Rubbed the outer skin with butter and seasoned the skin so it would brown to perfection and taste simply delicious…melt in your mouth delicious. Finishing off the roast with some new potatoes, carrots and parsnips, she covers the roaster and places it in a preheated oven.
Dinner…taken care of.* cool
