1) Men with long white hair are sexy.
2) Men who turn 'to the dark side' and seem to lose themselves in it are terribly exciting.
3) Someone who ends up defeating their dark side at just the right time is sooo dramatic.
4) Someone who has to live with the fact that part of them enjoyed reveling in evil are interesting, indeed.
5) Guys who are never tempted and never give in, are ultra badass and always win are dreadfully stuck up and boring.

...And you still haven't refuted any of my points. Gambit bored me dreadfully right up there with Cyclops and Wolverine. Now that they're actually DOING something with him, at least my interest is piqued...

Ah well, such is life. I'll just write my hate mail to Marvel, dare them to print it, and move on. If Gambit ever returns as he was, then I'll consider returning.

I don't understand the "dare them to print it" part. They get hate mail all the time. I have a feeling they'd be more likely to print a letter offering the reasons why you're upset along with constructive criticism, as opposed to a vitriolic rant. No one wants to read that.

The last tiem I saw a negative letter posted in an X title it was Astonishing. The reader lambasted Marvel for turning Emma a villian and the reply was short and sweet,"We like Emma too but sometimes a person just has to be who they are." (Ignoring years of character building of course.) I'll sit down and write a logical letter and not a rant. We'll see what happens.
