I have to wait until I can print out my Borders coupon so I can splurge at the bookstore. I feel so glad to have my own money now. Next, after my Eureka Seven collection, I plan to invest in a laptop. That way I can start working on my own fan-fic. I'm just afraid that I will set myself up write this story and then just shelf it like everything else.

Mmm, I liked that post. I'm glad it wasn't another Halo 2 moment. I've learned to stop expecting the best, which makes the end result even better, because when it's good, it becomes great. Just like Thanksgiving or something alone those lines, I don't know. Now I wonder what will happen next?

Halo 2 was okay ending... but halo 3 is going to be sick!! oh and that was one awsome post kayako!! it made me think of a old rp I did on the aol.. something big is going to go down and its going to awsome.

Halo 3 is pretty good. I beta'd it for a while with my bro. So far it hasn't been bad and we've got tons of little video clips recorded of some awesome fights we've had. Too bad the beta ended and we can't see the clips anymore. Hopefully when the game comes out, those clips will appear. But here's one thing, After about a year Halo 3 will become stagnant, just like 2. Good things can't last forever. Now to play the waiting game. Also, I've noticed that I've editted every single post I've ever made in this guild, I think that's wierd for me, but that just a minor little silly postscript.

the game I heard is going to be second to metroid prime three cause something with nintendoi is going to boost it past halo 3 with tthe huge endsing at the end of prime.

Here's the huge ending of prime, Samus's armor flies off and we get to see her nudity in a high pixelated form rather than in 16 bits blaugh
Just kidding, I never got into the Metroid series so I can't really get to hyped about it. Actually, I think I've gotten tired of FPS games, except for Rainbow Six.

Mmn, I'm a big fan of Zombie games. I'm still trying to track down a copy of "Zombies ate my neighbors" and other games from that series, also I'm a big fan of Metal Slug. I also like the two games that came out for Eureka Seven, though I do admit they could have done much better. The ground LFO battles needed a good amount of work, Lifting battles were too easy, and there was only one ref race in the whole dang storyline of the second game. I did think that the Azure group was going to be cool. Roddy Flame had such a cool character design, and they went and mae him evil. I hate you gods of irony! But also quietly admire you from afar...Complexes are fun.

Original games seem to get to me. I loved Psychonauts, one of the best underrated games ever concieved. WIth a plot so zany and quirky, it's worth a shot. Especially since the main character is voiced by the same dude who did Zim. The humor is so straightforward that you'll find yourself laughing at every little pun.

Halo 2 discussion? In a Eureka Seven guild? I thought I'd never see the day! O___O
Umm... Halo 2 wasn't that great. razz The first Halo was largely a lot of fun to me because of all the programming errors that let you play around with things and traverse around weird parts of the levels, so sometimes I think it was just all a fluke. Still, the original gameplay scheme worked a bit better than Halo 2's. It's just so... simple in the second one. neutral
I have heard about the terribleness of online multiplayer with it. I just don't understand what's up with people like that, but I'm really glad I didn't get Xbox Live. That would've been a waste of money. And as for the ending... I wasn't as angered by it as most people, but still... I really wanted that city level they had in the like... 2003 E3 demo that they used to show off new stuff.
Personally, I think Bungie's a bunch of lazy slobs. If you got the special edition DVD that came with the platinum Halo 2 case, it has a lot of interviews and stuff on it... and one guy practically blames the fans for everything, saying "If we just had one more week to work on it, we could fix things, but the fans are screaming..." Seriously, there's nothing you can fix up in a week in video games. rolleyes
Umm... otherwise, Metroid is cool. Super Metroid was just... awesome. razz The Prime games aren't bad, but they're not nearly as good as the 2D games. Such amazing graphics, though. O____O

Mmhmm. I played Halo 2 right when it came out. It was fun for a while, but soon it just became too simple and repetitive. But repetitive is not really a good complaint, since every game is repetitive once you find a trick that works well, whether it be a special weapon, or area that gives you cash, or easy-to-beat-timed-button-press sequences. And yeah, I didn't expect to get into an H2 conversation, but it sort of just happened. I feel kind of wrong talking about it, but it would have been rude just to cut the dialogue short.

I went to GameStop and stayed until after midnight to pick it up the night it came out. Then I played 'til 4 A.M. razz Man, those first two Hunters slaughtered me the first time! O____O Still... I really shouldn't have been like that.
I have to say, though, I think Halo 2 was a bit more repetitive than the first, because most enemy placements in the second are always the same. You could at least get unexpectedly attacked from behind in the first if you weren't careful. And... I think the environments were bigger and more enjoyable in the first.
Don't worry, the OOC thread is for whatever we want to talk about, really, just because that's how it happened. razz I'm just surprised to see Halo 2 talk.
On the games topic... I've been waiting to beat The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I say waiting because Rekk told me not to beat it until she does. She got it first, you see. razz
