"What the..." Nari quickly stopped pouring her eggs in the pan and whipped her head around. For a good second her heart froze. 'Oh, dear God. Is my cooking that bad??' she panicked before realizing that Johnny was actually loving her cooking. Sighing and wilting as the panic in her died down, she glared at Johnny. He was such a loudmouth, even when he was happy! She really hoped that not everyone in heaven was like him.

After Koji finished talking, she added, "Geez, you're like the complete opposite of what we expected!" Where did that nerve come from? Guess it only came out around him when she was startled. "You hardly have on any white, shining clothing. In fact, you look more like that one fallen angel. You curse like Sentinel, the evil demigod. And you eat your food like a little kid! 'I'm very shocked by that'!" she sounded more fussy at the last part. Turning around, she continued cooking her omelet, grumbling about inside voices and heart attacks.

There were no words to say. All thoughts left her mind as soon as she realized her mistake. Despite his seeming like "one of us", as Koji had said, Johnny was far above them and that moment definitely made her regret opening her mouth. Not like she would admit it, but she was terrified after that. She dropped her frying pan onto the stove, hands shaking too bad to hold it anymore. Her skin turned pale, and she suddenly felt sick with guilt. It took her a good minute to regain a tenth of her composure, and by then her appetite was completely gone. Luckily, the omelet was finished and she could just put it in the fridge. Like a zombie, she shakily walked to the fridge to put it away after grabbing-- and almost dropping-- a plate for it. She mumbled to Koji, "I'll clean up later," before leaving as fast as her wobbly legs would allow.

After she managed to reach the stairs, she ran and didn't stop until she was safely behind her bathroom's locked door. There she slumped to the ground and began praying to whomever would listen. 'God? If you're there, please don't let Johnny kill me. Please don't let Johnny hear my thoughts. I didn't mean to piss him off, honest. He just wracked my nerves for a second, and you know how I am. I'm a businesswoman; I say what's on my mind...' She continued her rambling thoughts like this for a while until she just gave up and sat on the tile floor in silence.

Waffle leaned back over the couch so her head was hanging upside down, and called out, "Nariana didn't know when to shut her mouth," with grin that reduced to a smile. Then she slipped back into her regular posture.

Meanwhile Sabe was drinking orange juice when he heard Waffle in the other room. His drink threatened to go up his nose, so he waited for Waffle to shut up and himself to chill out before chugging the rest of the juice and getting ready to leave. Sabe rinsed out the cup and set it upside down on a napkin so he could get back to it later.

He didn't pay much attention to what Koji said other than a lazy 'mhm' and left the kitchen. Sabe stood near the doorway for a bit to make up his mind for sure, then went outside to where Johnny was.

KD who was very confused, again, accepted Luc's invite to the kitchen and grabbed an orange and sat down. "Nari really made Johnny upset..." she said to no one in-particular. She pealed her orange and began to eat it watching Luc as he prepared his breakfast.

Sabe looked the ground by his bare feet. "Uh..." he trailed off. Then he yawned and continued talking. "This is the first time we've seen any of your kind." he said. Sabe got a bad taste in his mouth and frowned.

There was a long pause of silence. "...why do you guys hide from us, anyway?" he asked.
