Sarah smirked at the things she read. She put the book back and looked around. The dangerous spells would be in the restricted section...nothing more would help then a note from...hmm...oh how about (insert name of DADA teacher)Sarah thought and made a quick note and forging the signature.Sarah walked up to the desk and handed the paper to the librarian. The lady took it and nodded to her.Sarah went to the back and entered the section. She looked amongst the shelves and saw it.List of the Dark Spells they don't want you to know of Sarah smiled widely and sat down, reading fast for she only had a little over and hour left.

((OOh Evil. xD))
Alyssa walked up the stairs, beginning to remember evrything that she had down earlier in the year. She sighed her life was different now and couldn't ever go back. She didn't really care either. She liked working for her uncle. But for some reason tears were starting to form. She whipped them away and ran up the stairs trying to get away from the memories. As she was running she tripped and fell a few steps down. She formed a fist and hit one of the stairs. "Stop it!" She said bitterly. She stood up shaking and walked up the stairs. Her memories started to fade, and she ran up the stairs once more. She hated being back at Hogwarts now. She hated regreting things that couldn't be changed. She had to act strong now.

((hehehe thanks))
Sarah kept reading even after a few students saw her and glared.
"She's not even a true Gryffindor,"One whispered and Sarah pointed her wand at the girls which caused them to yelp and run away. Sarah smirked and kept reading.

Carmilla had lead the way from Hogsmead up to the castle in silence, since she didn't really know how to bring up a conversation. Jack didn't seem like the one to talk much either, and she really didn't want to seem strange by doing all the talking. She didn't know why she felt she had to either. They had just met after all.
It didn't take long for them to get up to the hospital wing but as soon as they entered Madam Pomfrey came over to them and fussed over them, looking them up and down. "How dare they schedule the trip for such cold weather. All these students coming up here with chills and colds. The way its going I'll run out of pepper up potion!" She complained in her normal way and scurried off to get the potions for the both of them. Carmilla gave a nervous laugh. "Madam Pomfrey stresses too much I think." She said while waiting for the medi witch to come back.

Jack chuckled softly, it was the first time he had laughed in a long time. He nodded, smiling slightly. He felt kind of bad for not talking, he wasn't used to talking anyway, he was used to hanging around his cat Nyo and talking to him, he talked to his mother of course, but he didn't exactly understand how to strike up a conversation.
But, against all pretence he said softly; "How come you're at Hogwarts for the winter holidays? Did you not want to-" but his sentence was cut off by a sudden fit of sneezing. Jack probably could've sneezed his whole brain right out of his nose, after about a minute he stopped and rubbed his nose with his right hand four finger a bit then continued in his question: "So did you just want to stay here? Or..." he trailed off, not wanting to say anything offending.
He blushed slightly and looked at his feet; he wasn't good at talking to people. Not many people were able to relate to him in anyway. Sometimes he felt like his brother, Damien, was the only one who actually understood him, and you can guess how that felt; imagine having your brother as your only friend. How degrading would that be?

Carmilla smiled when she heard Jack laugh. it was good that she could at least get some sort of a reaction out of him that wasn't bad.
"Bless you." She said once he had stopped sneezing and she was actually quite surprised that he had tried to start up a conversation. "I actually like it here at Hogwarts. At home theres really only me and my mother, since my father is always working at the ministry." She looked over as Madam Pomfrey came back and held pepper up potions out to them both. Carmilla took hers and drank it quickly only to have steam pour out her ears, probably making her look very funny. A bright blush appeared on her cheeks, and it wasn't from the effects of the potion. "Is there somewhere you would like to go?" She asked once the steam had stopped coming out her ears.

Jack took his potion and drained it in one gulp. He handed the glass to Madam Pomfrey, and watched as she strutted away from them. Steam issued from both of his ears. Jack looked over at Carmilla and said; "I stay here cause' I think I'm just a burden on my mom. My dad's dead... he died the night Harry Potter's parents were killed." his voice was soft, as if he thought that the coincidence was not something to boast about. But he was silent after that. Not willing to tell her the rest of that year.
Then he looked back at her, shrugged, and shook his head. He had never "Gone somewhere" with anyone before, but he was glad she wasn't yelling at him or shooting him angry looks for not speaking enough. He was not that talkative, and there was a good reason for that. But we need not go into that. So he looked around and just stood, looking at her, she had to be at least three inches tall than him. Not a big difference, but it slightly intimidated Jack.

((sorry I'm a bit bored...so I'm going to start...)) Sarah looked at the clock. It had been two hours since her and Aly got to the school. She smirked a bit as she put the book back and waved her wand at the potted plants she had been practicing on secretly. And let me tell you, the pots didn't look in a good shape. She walked out of the restricted area, waving her hand again, removing the silencing charm. She walked to the front of the library and waited for Alyssa.

"I see. I'm sorry." She said softly but it sounded rather insensitive in the way she said it but she had meant it. With little experience in dealing with people she had no idea what to say.
She turned towards the doors leading out of the hospital wing and made to exit. "I know some where we can go if you'd like. I haven't ever taken anyone there before, but its quite peaceful.." She said softly and looked back at Jack.

Jack nodded silently, his eyes downcast at his shoes. And with that, he began to follow Carmilla out the doors. She said she was taking him to a peaceful place, Jack hoped she was right.

Camilla walked down the hallways with slow but steady footsteps. They were heading in the direction of the astronomy tower, which she knew the room she was going to was located. She had found it quite by accident really, but since then it had been her private little world away from the hustle and bustle the castle always seemed to have, even in the breaks.
They reached the tower in relative peace, but there were always noises coming from other parts of the castle. She walked up to a section of wall which had a little section built in, much like a statue or suit of armour had resided there in previous times. She reached in slowly, running her hand along the wall in a soft but firm motion then stepped back, watching as the wall seemed to disintergrate into the shape of a doorway. "After you." She said with a warm smile to Jack.

Jack looked aghast at the threshold, he had never in his five years at Hogwarts, ever seen this place. He had been to the astronomy tower only once before, and that was in his first year. Which had been the last year famous Harry Potter had been there, but he really hadn't actually been there. There had been a huge battle however, and Jack had fought against the Dark Lord in the battle. But this was not the time to remember that battle, now was now; and Jack was slowly walking through the new found doorway.
Jack walked into a huge dome shaped room; the entire ceiling was made of glass, showing the snow pounding against the castle. Jack had been right; it was a blizzard outside. He absent mindedly reached for his wand and lifted it out of his pocket. Jack's wand suddenly lit, he had used to Lumos charm without even moving his lips. He had spent his years practicing non-verbal spells, since he knew it would come in handy one day. The bright blue light spread across the dome shaped room, making the snow covered windows seem a bit like ice. Then Jack turned to Carmilla and waited for her to follow him in.

Carmilla walked in after Jack and the wall shut in behind her, shutting them in the room. Around the walls were a few book shelves, and there was a fireplace set into the wall on the opposite side of the door. The floor had a rug on it and lots of comfy looking cushions which she moved over to and sat down on slowly looking up at Jack's reaction.
"I come here quite often. Its rather nice actually, having a place all to yourself in a castle that is full of so many other people." She looked up at the glass roof and watched the snow falling. Even as it fell onto the glass it never stuck or obscured the view outside. She assumed it was magicked that way. Still it was calming to watch the snow fall, especially with the warm that was in the room, which was very unlike how it would have been outside in the snow.

Jack sat down on the rug, and almost instantly, a black cat trotted into the room. Its head held high and tail swaying elegantly behind it "Nyo..." murmured Jack softly; "how'd you get here?" The cat had large green eyes and sleek midnight black hair. It looked slightly pompous, as the cat passed it looked at Carmilla for a moment, it seemed to be sizing her up, trying to see if she was any kind of threat. But it seemed Nyo could not find anything wrong with Carmilla. Then quite abruptly, Nyo climbed right into Jack's face. Jack made a sputtering noise and lightly pushed Nyo off his face.
Jack sat up, spitting out hair. Then he looked at Carmilla and shrugged, a small smile spreading across his face. Nyo could always cheer Jack up. "That's my cat, Nyo. He's a British Shorthair." Jack was still slightly smiling at the idea of Nyo trotting up from the dungeons up the tallest tower just to sit on Jack's face.
Nyo looked at Carmilla and meowed softly, as if asking for her to pick him up. He liked to be treated with the up most respect, but he got along with Jack extremely well. Jack was Nyo's best friend, and he was always there for Jack. Nyo was one of Jack's most precious friend, if Nyo was killed, Jack would be devastated.
