Svetlana chuckled quietly. "She sure felt like she could." She leaned back on the couch. "Figured faking a miscarriage would have caught his attention."

Gorlist shook his head and sighed, "That would have caught his attention. In a bad way though and he would have lost it even more."

Gorlist shook his head and sighed, "Oh well. My father agreed with my decision completely."

Svetlana smiled slightly. "Well that's good." She got up from the couch and went behind the bar, grabbing two bottles of vodka. She returned to the couch and held a bottle out for Gorlist. "Here you are."

Gorlist nodded and smiled, "Thank you." He took a drink of vodka and sighed happily.

Svetlana nodded and sighed. "Same here." She looked around the empty tavern and took another drink of vodka. "I know I say this all the time, but where the hell is everyone?"

Gorlist smiled and grabbed his flamberge up as he stood up. The demon smirked at her, "Let's go then." He walked up the stairs to their room.
