Is anyone gonna start playing D&D Online when the system kicks off?
I was gonna start looking into it a bit more and was interested in knowing if anyone else was going to try it.

Then on my way home I noticed that gas is hitting $4.21 a gallon here, and to top it off, someone graffiti'ed a wall in our neighborhood, with three different tags.
And I got sunburnt from driving today. T.T I didn't even get to do anything fun to be sunburnt this time
I'd try the online D&D, although I've never played before..

Well from what I read, it's basically going to be a virtual map with voice features, and all the actual "gameplay" will still happen on paper, but you'll have to dictate things to the party through voice.
I was hoping it was going to be a lot more open ended than that... perhaps I just read an old news story. confused Who knows.

Mkay, so apparently the Online D&D is going to be $10-$15/mo subscription... for a lacking character generator and map generator.
It might be wise to hold off on this, in that case. If it's really that bad, we could all jump in a Skype session and I could whip up a few random number generators that'll print maps and characters out on a screen. confused

Top that with a random Die generator and an initiative tracker, and your pretty much set. ^_^

0mega_Virus sailornorthstar no prob I am staff at AX so I do not have to worry about getting a room they do it for me *nods* We have friends that work AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta) and MTAC (Middle Tennessee Anime Convention). We would room with them, but they are usually pretty busy during the con and work off hours, so sleeping is always awkward. @_@

it gets a tad annoying when it has no bearing on the present conversation, but let them have their fun, I guess @___@
