'He smiled...and laughed...hard!' Nari thought to herself, slowly overjoyed at his reaction. She grinned and started giggling herself. Something about Luciano's laughter was just contagious. Maybe it was the fact that she expected him to just go back inside; his reaction was totally unexpected. Her giggles turned into hearty laughs in moments, and she laughed with him until her jaw was tired.
Sighing, she combed her hair back in place a little and said, "That was spontaneous, to say the least. Anyway, time for you to actually ask me again." Cocking her head to the side and crossing her arms, she waited for Luc's response.

The first symbol drawn stopped Carl in his tracks, his was frozen hand out stretched toward KD. She moved to stand behind Johnny. "You won't get away with this... I will come after you..." Carl said with a snarl.

"You can't. I'm protected by my employer- As well as every soul that I watch over. ." Johnny said after drawing the final seal. Now the Carl was powerless, Johnny handed Koji his sharpie, said 'Thanks' and then he looked down at KD "He can't hurt you now. ." Johnny turned a bit so that he was facing her, and then he said, "Let me help you get back into your body." He gave her a smile, and then motioned for her to step over to her body with him. Meanwhile,After Luciano had finally gotten a hold of himself, he wiped the tears from his eyes- he laughed so hard that he was crying a bit- and then he said, "God, Haha. . I needed that!" Luciano fixed his hair a bit, and waited to calm down a little more before talking to her.
Luciano said, "Alright, um. . Truth or Dare, Nari?"

Koji was.. he couldn't quite think of the word to describe it. He knew everything that Johnny needed him to, and could now understand just what was happening, and yet he still felt lost. It was like, he had all the information, but didn't really understand it. Maybe it was just the shock of suddenly seeing a couple spirits in the room. Regardless, he started drawing with the angel until all the symbols were down. "So.. KD's gonna be ok then?" He asked tentatively as Johnny helped her spirit back towards her body.

Johnny helped KD to her body, and turned to Koji, "Once she's back in her body, yes. She will be alright." Something about what had just happened did not feel right at all. A Reaper breaking the rules? What was that about? Both sides, Good and Evil, knew not to touch the Dark Elves. Everyone agreed to this. The "other side" was allowed other souls- Souls within their own jurisdiction. Johnny was now ready to put KD back in her body, but a lot was still running through his mind. Someone who used to be his friend was about to break the rules, but he knew that Carl wouldn't do this unless he was either: Bribed, or pushed into it by a higher up. . . Johnny had to put a stop to it.
". . . What the hell is going on up there?"

Luciano wasn't sure exactly what to dare her to do, so Luciano said "Um. . I dare you to do a. . . Backflip?" The dare was probably lame, but it was all he could think of at the moment.

Nari had to blink for a moment. "Hoo, boy. I guess I should have stretched," she half-joked. 'When was the last time I did one?' she wondered to herself. However, she wasn't too worried. Certain abilities were never forgotten, just filed away somewhere in her memory. Back in her karate training days, she had to perform backflips daily. This wouldn't be too hard.
"Hey, Luc. If something happens to me, at least I'm already at the ER," she said and smiled while stretching her legs. After a few moments, she grabbed her purse and fished around until she found a scrunchie for her hair. Once her hair was secured in a messy bun, she squatted low and jumped backward. Her back arched in the air while her outstretched arms reached for the sidewalk. When her hands made contact, she grunted slightly and pushed her body backward until she was upright again. She decided to show off, so she flipped again. Finished with her little performance, she huffed and posed like a gymnast. "Tada!"

Luciano managed to give Nari another smile and nodded with approval. Before he said anything else, he noticed a vending machine, and then his stomach began to growl a little. He let out a small 'Ooh!' once it started growling, and then he asked Nari, "You wouldn't happen to be hungry now, would you?" Luciano motioned over to the vending machine. He was too embarrassed to say that he hasn't eaten anything all day.

"Nah, not really. We-- Koji, KD, and I-- ate at Orangebee's earlier. But I'll gladly pay," she said matter-of-factly. She reached down for her purse again and grabbed her little leather wallet. Pulling out a dollar, she held it out for Luc to take. "Here," she said while putting her previously discarded jewelry in her purse with her other hand. 'Won't be needing these for a while. That was pretty fun,' she thought and smirked to herself.

"Back in her body.." Koji parroted back under his breath. 'Why was she out of it in the first place? Does that mean she's technically dead? ..none of the staff even came out to say that her condition had gotten so bad..' He watched as Johnny walked up to KD and tried to helpe her back into her body.

(( >O TIME SKIPPING! WE NEEDS IT!! )) Several days after the shenanigans KD was finally home from the hospital, and things in HQ were normal again. . Well, all normal except for the angel sitting on the couch, eating cornflakes and watching television. Where he comes from television is almost unheard of, so he figured he would give it a try.
Johnny sat there watching the morning news; The News, How to make your Garden pretty, Local Farmer's market, More news, Sports, and upcoming events, more news. Johnny chewed his cornflakes as he watched clips of a bar fight erupt in a Barton Pub and thought, "What could they possibly want to fight about? They're with their friends. . Humanoids. You just don't make any sense to me."
A moment later Johnny saw an announcement for this special event happening all over Gaia, ". . . I just wanted to announce that The Rejected Olympics have finally arrived and boy do we have a treat for you! Sign up for The Rejected Olympics today! Winner gets the first place trophy and. . ."
The reporter started listing the prize for the "lucky team" that wins the entire event, and went on to tell the viewers what towns are competing in the competition. Johnny nodded with approval; Assuming that this would make the humanoids finally coexist. He took another bite of his cornflakes and let out a small 'Mmmmmm' as he chewed.

Koji had been watching the reports about the incident at H&R Wesley trying to see if his theory about the vampires plotting something was right. However, when they broadcast the image of a dark elf on screen as the culprit and set a reward for anyone who brought him in, Koji felt entirely lost. It took under a week for the citizens of Gaia to find the guy, nobody wants a terrorist wandering around the streets. This morning's report on the matter had stated that he was a known affiliate of the Kuro family. "What the hell is going on..?" Koji mumbled to himself as he closed the lid to his laptop and wandered downstairs to get some breakfast.

Waffle was sitting on the left end of the couch, also watching TV. When the commercials came on, she started reaching for the remote but noticed that Johnny was seriously paying attention to the slightly outdated Rejected Olympics advertisement.
She waited for the signups announcement to end and the 'regular' advertising to begin before snatching the remote from the coffee table and hitting the 'guide' button to see what else was on TV. The 8:30-9 AM slot covered the rest of the news; it was currently 8:40. 9-10 AM was the usual talk show that followed the news in which some overpaid women sat around rehashing the news and gabbing about what seemed like non-issues.
However, there was a long continuous block from 10:30 AM onward. 'Rejected Olympics 2012 Live'. Waffle mashed the right arrow button to see how long it will be on TV. She kept scrolling. Goddamn how long does this last? The block stopped at 10 PM, keeping it just under 12 hours and before the bed times of most people over the summer.
She hit 'cancel' on the remote so regular TV came back on. "Looks a little late to be running sign-up ads the day of the event," she mused.

After a brief conversation with Max about beefing up security at Lincoln Tech, Nariana closed her laptop and proceeded to getting dressed. For today, she chose a simple white tank top, denim shorts, and matching white sneakers and socks. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail before walking out of her room.
Walking downstairs to breakfast, she overheard the TV down the hall and decided to peek her head in. Spotting Johnny, she turned back and sighed. It was still strange becoming accustomed to seeing a punk-style angel lounging around HQ. Not that it was a bad thing; it was just awkward sometimes when she thought about it for too long. She walked back toward the kitchen and greeted Koji on the way.
"Morning, Koji. You excited about the Rejected Olympics like I am?" she said cheerfully. If there was one thing she loved, it was competition. Being based purely on it, the Rejected Olympics were no exception. She liked Durem, and it was probably politically correct for her to support the city she currently protected; however, she secretly rooted for Barton.
