Call me crazy in the video game world but I was always partial to games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill an' Devil May Cry. Keeps me on my toes. wink

those are cool, but personally, my philosophy with videogames is play the ones that enact fantasies...we're already heroes in our own right, so why play games about stuff we can do, like devil may cry. I've had way to many experiences just like that game, anyway.

when I play a game, I wanna experience something I normally don't do...that's why I like old school space shorters like gradius and darius gaiden. blaugh

Pehaps you should try a WWE wrestlin' game mon ami, tho I don' t'ink you'd look too good in de spandex, neh? blaugh

could say the same of most of us here, actually...

Well, Crazy, besides the obvious important factors for a perfect game, I'm interested in the play time as well. I figure if I'm going to pay $30-50 dollars on a game, I should have the luxury of enjoying it for quite some time.

And games like those Remy mentioned certainly provide that. Took me forever just to complete Resident Evil Code Veronica.

Well, I'm partial to RPs, adventure games like Jak and Dazter, and some fighting games, notably Guilty Gear X2 and Soul Calibur 2.

I just love my Resident Evil games, I have most of the originals on the PS1. Though I did go and buy the gamecube version of the first instalment, was very nice how they'd added the Crimson heads.

I'll play any game from Gradius, Final Fantasies to Doom 3. I love most games. With the exception of Disney and Army men games.

Hmm, I'm more partial to RPG's than fighting games. Though I prefer fighting games over FPS's usually.

I want a game based on my new series. Imagine Hitman or Splinter Cell only instead of stealing people's clothes you could press a button to memorize their appearance and shapeshift into them. You could have something like five slots for different looks that you could take on that you could swap out for other ones. whee

Reminds me of that one RPG where you played a cherub that could possess people...

Messiah. Never got a chance to play it though. When it comes to games I usually wait until they get marked down before I buy them because I don't see the point in paying $70 when I could wait a month and pay $30-50.

More people are filing in so... *gets up to hug and kiss everyone in the Bistro*

*takes her seat once again*

All this talk about games just made me remember I still have Star Ocean: The 2nd Chapter, Kingdom Hearts, GTA III: Vice City, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and FF Tactics to finish. Yeah. I normally have this many games going at once. Strangely enough I can always remember where I left off at.

I'm a big adventure game freak. Zelda, Banjo-Tooie, DK64, yaddayaddayadda. I usually dig on all the Mario spin-off games, too. My current fixation tho, is Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal heart domokun

I'm currently playing Chrono Trigger, I love this game. Makes me wish I'd bought a SNES back in the days.
