What's 'love'? Hm? This is a serious question. Nowadays, everyone loves. They love their mother, father, friends, boy/girlfriends, dogs, cats, cars, jobs. Nobody uses the word exclusively for that amazing emotion that it used to mean. Love is an overused term that no longer carries the weight or meaning that it had in years long ago for two people who cared so deeply for each other, they would die for each other. Nowadays....its just a word.

What about it? The feeling of being in love, does it honestly last in this world? People are so absorbed in their own worlds and lives that they love and then lose it all. How many couples last nowadays? How many don't get divorces or have affairs or just end up sputtering out into that old couple who sits on their steps, in separate chairs, and wonder what happened? The feeling of love is as lost as the word.
Or at least, that's how I feel about it.
On that happy note, I'm going to bed.
