*Every time Mr. Giovanni got within 10 feet of where she was sun bathing, she would scream at him. She was absolutely clear that she wanted him to be a minimum of 10 feet away. Threatening him that if he dared come near her any closer, she would have him thrown out on his ear. Realizing it would take her a while to cool off, he did as she wished…stayed about 10 feet away but kept her in his sight. He instead plunked himself in a chair nearer to Katana and chatted her up while Psy flipped through her magazine. Telling Katana stories from long ago in Italy, telling Katana about a younger, feisty Pietrina Pavani. He even told Katana a few stories about each of Psy's brothers…some boy antics in private school. Like the time Franco and Marco squeezed superglue into all the locks to the doors at the school. How Vincenso stole a bowling ball and knocked the door to the Monsenior's office clear off its hinges…how he managed to take the rap for that one. How Dante hand painted a p***s on the door of the Bishop's car…very lifelike…and Antonio managed to prove Dante's "innocence" by bringing "evidence" to light which pointed the finger at Maria Fontello who was both a slut and a talented painter. Man oh man did those boys attract the Catholic girls…like moths to a flame. Mr. Giovanni burst out laughing…good times…goooooooood times. And then there was Pietrina. Strikingly beautiful and surprisingly quiet…a bit mysterious. She, like her brother Dante, took to Art. She was the only girl in science class who genuinely liked dissection and would scoff at all the other squeamish girls. She was fearless. He told Katana about the time some boy dared to flip up her skirt and say it was "dress up" day. Even though that boy was bigger, Pietrina grabbed him by the shirt and flug him up against a wall telling him she would "make him disappear." A week later, that kid was gone. He looks fondly at Psy and smirks as she pretends she isn't paying attention.* Yous sees Gattina, no boy would EVER express interest in Pietrina Pavani. At dinner it was the same. Kat and Gio chatting and laughing. He was on his very best behavior and made sure Katana had a good day. He got to hear all about Katana's Mother. About Japan and her training, how she got her dragon tattoo, how she met Psy…all sorts of things. She even explained further about this half brother and his husband, about her relationship with Officer Showcase, and her current boyfriend Hauk. Psy kept very quiet during dinner, she did a whole lot of listening. Alfonso has known her as long as she can remember. She has a history with him. Kat broached the subject of Giovanni leaving in the morning but he made sure he told her how difficult it was to find them. How tough it may be to make arrangements and leave right away. That he would do the very best he could, but if she could have some patients he would be every so grateful as he rearranged flight plans. Not to mention how disappointed Franco would be. This got Kat's attention. He goes on to say how Franco wanted him to personally see to it that the ladies had the privacy they needed. He also says how Franco knew Katana of all people would understand why he is there. This gets Kat to thinking and she isn't quite sure how to respond. They have dessert and retire out back to see the full blue moon and have an after dinner cognac outside as they hear the ocean waves crash to the shore.

Psy decides she is tired and wants some sleep. Mr. Giovanni offers to escort her to her room and she declines. Just as she draws her blinds and changes, she hears a knock at her door. She opens it to see Mr. Giovanni standing there which makes her completely angry. YOU are NOT entering my room!! stressed FORGET IT ALFONSO!!! scream *She slams the door in his face and he knocks again as he tries to reason with his Dolce Cosa. She flings open the door and shoves a couple of pillows at him and a blanket, pointing outside.* A CABANA!!!
