KD was in a coma... alive, but in a coma. The OR staff was standing around, some whispering to each other still completely confused by what was going on. The surgeon checked where the bleed use to be, and once he noticed it was gone he began sewing up the incision he had made. As he finished the head of internal medicine stormed in. "What the hell is going on here?!" He barked. The surgeon removed his gloves and looked up, "Um... this girl... she um..." The other surgeon spoke up: "She's stable. She should be okay, but she is in a coma at the moment, and considering the loss of blood I'm not surprised, we will need to get her a transfusion." The head of internal medicine glared at him, "NO no NO! The light and the power outage, everyone said the light came from THIS room!"
"Um..." Said the first surgeon. "Must've been a power surge sir." Said the second. All the head of internal medicine said was "Hmph." And stormed out.
After he left the nurses wheeled KD to her room. The second surgeon removed his gloves as he walked out to give a update to KD's friends.
"She's stable." he began. "She's lost a lot of blood and will need a transfusion, does anyone know what blood type she is?"

Just as the Doctor walked over, Johnny headed up to KD's room. Once he was there, he slowly opened the door and walked in closing it behind him.
Luciano shook his head in response to the Doctor, and he said "I'm sorry, Doctor. I don't know. . Can you tell me EXACTLY What was wrong with her?" Luciano would've asked for the charts, but he knew that the Doctor would never let him see them unless Luciano was a Doctor himself. Medical experience on the battlefield doesn't make you a real Doctor, sadly.

"Uh..." the surgeon began, "she was bleeding internally, and I got it to stop, but she lost a lot of blo-" before he could finish his beeper went off, he looked at it and rushed off down the hall.
KD opened her eyes. A light beep-beep-beep could be heard, but while she look held up her hands she noticed there was nothing attached to her. She sat up, turned on the bed and placed her feet on the floor. She surprisingly felt like nothing had happened, she didn't feel weak or like she was in any pain. A gasp at the door made her turn around, there she saw Johnny... but also... her body. It was still on the bed, with all sorts of wires poking out of it, including a breathing machine. There was a burn mark on her face and a bandage on her arm. Quietly she asked Johnny... "What is going on?"

Johnny folded his arms, looked down at her, and then he said, "Well, I was about to ask you the same thing. ." He looked around the room for a moment, but went went to looking down at her. "I just want to know what exactly it was you were thinking when you decided to run towards a burning building. You know you could've died?"
With all of the shouting and lecturing he has had to do today, he was feeling more like a parent than a blasted Angel. Johnny then said, "And if you're dead too long, I can't bring you back."

"...but I'm not dead yet..." KD said... "And I ran toward that building because I wanted to make sure everyone was okay." as she said this in a slight ticked off tone she folded her somewhat see through arms together. Meanwhile someplace dark... " I understand..." a dark figure  said. In the next instant he appeared in the room while KDs body was... " hmmm... Johnny..." he said smugly and walked past KDs spirt to her body.

At HQ, Waffle was getting some food from what was left in the kitchen. Outside the sun already set, but it wasn't pitch black outside either. She glanced at the clock as she left. Wonder where everyone else is.

Johnny sighed at KD and then he said to her, "KD, I like you. I find you amusing. Hilarious, even. . But next time you pull a stupid move like that, can you be a little smarter about it please?- And no, you're not Dead. . YET. But if you don't get back into your body soon-" Just then a cloaked figure came into the room and walked towards KD's body. Johnny nodded at The Reaper, "Carl," he said, but when he realized just what "Carl" was here for he said to him, "You're not allowed to take her. She was assigned to me."

"Heh..." Began Carl, "it only works if her spirit is in her body... since it is out... she belongs to me..."
"Wait wait wait!!!" KD said frantically. She then walked over to her body and walked into it... however she didn't go inside instead she was just standing there. She sighed and looked at Johnny... "How do I get inside?"
Carl just laughed eerily.

Johnny kept his arms folded and he said to Carl, "You know that you're not allowed to take someone before their time. That's the rule. And I expect you to follow it. Her soul still belongs to us until my superiors tell you otherwise. Back off, Carl. ." Johnny looked down at KD and he said, "Take a deep breath, then lay back." He turned his attention back to Carl, keeping a close eye one him, and he said "Who assigned you here?- Because they weren't supposed to."

Since the rest of the gang were basically stuck in the hallway until further notice, Nariana decided to get up and go for a walk outside. She needed the fresh air badly after all the nerve-wracking events of the day. 'I just need some time to clear my head and loosen my legs a little, and that will be fine...Nothing wrong with a stroll. I'm sure KD will be fine now that Johnny's here. Right?' she told herself as she stood up from the ground. She took a deep breath and stretched her arms to try to relax before speaking up.
"I'm going to walk around outside for a little bit. I don't know about you, but this place has put a terribly negative damper on my mood..." That was an understatement. "If any news about KD comes, I won't be far," she announced before walking down the hall to the elevator. If you knew how bad her nerves were right now, you would expect that she'd be practically running toward the elevator to get out of the hospital. But instead, she walked at a slow and stiff pace. Although she didn't admit it out loud, she secretly hoped that someone would tag along.

Luciano had felt terrible that while the group was in crisis, Luciano spent the day just smashed. When he saw Nari walk away, he decided to join her. He wasn't exactly sure what to say to her, so he kept quiet until he was spoken to.

When Luciano followed her to the elevator, Nari turned toward him and smiled as best as she could. She pressed the lobby button while the elevator doors closed and sighed. She waited for Luciano to say something in the elevator. Since he didn't, Nari opted to humming with the elevator music.
Once they were outside, Nari spoke up. She kept her eyes forward as she walked and said, "You know, Luciano, you've been pretty quiet. May I ask what's running through your mind?" 'I hope he doesn't think I'm trying to be nosy or anything,' she thought to herself and frowned a little.

Luciano wasn't exactly sure what to say. He wasn't about to tell her that he's just been wasting away in his bed room, getting drunk and praying for death. But he just said to her, "Um. . Not a lot, really. . Just waiting for all of this to be over. And just. . . Trying to deal with my loss. ." Luciano rubbed the back of his neck, trying not to think about just leaving to go get drunk again.

"I see," Nari said quietly. 'Those pauses. He's picking his words,' she thought and looked down at her feet. She knew better than to pry more out of him, even though she was secretly confident that she eventually could. 'Must be hard being here right now. I wonder what he's really thinking,' she thought and looked at Luciano. "You know, I think this is our first time having a chance to talk as friends, though I would prefer to be walking around under different circumstances," she said before huffing. "So! In commemoration to this momentous occasion," she threw her hands out and patted him on the shoulder, "I say we play a game," she said with a small smile.

Luciano was a bit confused. He didn't think now was the time to play a game, but he appreciated her effort. . So he decided to play a game. Luciano cleared his throat and he said, "Alright. Um. . . What d'we play exactly?" He wasn't entirely sure what game they should play. He was thinking to himself 'Watch it be 'I Spy', or something.'
