If I made a D&D character...
I think it would be a Fighter, and he would have Agile Athlete and Weapon Finesse: Rapier. Then I would give him high Intelligence and Personality, so he could be Mr. Prissy, Cultured Fighter.
Yes, I have had a lot of time to think about it. He would be Chaotic Good, which means he'd be Mr. Vigilante, too.

NO if you want teh agile fighter guy with a rapier start out as a low armour fighter with teh stuff you said and go into duelist thats perfect for what you want lol dont mind my geekyness

Personally I play Mages or Rangers. However mages are a bit difficult to use when you can only really start out with the basic read/write magic and things like Color Spray and Dancing Lights and what not....

Lol im pretty sure theres a prestige class called duelist me i either play the smart a**, flirty, lieks to steal thigns rogue, the Sorcerer that everybody cant hepl but like or the necromancer/cleric that eventually is a pale master and is sort of a reclude and very anti social and people are scared of
if any of this made any sense xd

i have that character, half-feind rashaskas are ebil, but this guy ias a lv 30 Sorc Dragon diciple, i have 2 sets of wings.... oh, and we cant forget, all of my spells either hide me, or they kill somthing, ie. wail of the banshee...
oh, and then theres my gear, black robe of the archmagi, staff of the archmagi, ring of elemental command(fire), ring of elemental command(earth), goggels of minute seeing, boots of shadow jump, a psudeodragon familiar, gauntlets of rust, the skullmask, and the hand/eye of veneca
