Snappy J ....Even though I'm not really involved, I'm thinking that everyone else is getting over this sheer frustration quicker than I am. stressed I guess I have a slightly different reasoning though.

Doubtful. I'm still absolutely furious. I am showing some serious restraint right now, however, because my fire seems to have made some thin ice...

0-0Roland Deschain0-0 LF, your resignation is not needed. You started the guild, you should stick with it instead of running when a situation pops up.
All I ask is that you LISTEN to people.
I DID voice my VERY STRONG disagreement with the kicking of inactive members. And absolutely NOTHING was done about it. Sounds a bit familiar, though, as it's happened before.
When someone has an opinion, (and this should go for absolutely EVERYONE, not just mods) LISTEN to the opinion. It might just change your mind. just because you objected , and he went along with it anyways, does not me he didn't listen to your opinion. Other guildies agreed with it.
thats all i have to say.. *zips mouth shut*

"Cause if you jump I will jump too, We will fall together from the buildings ledge...
♥ "I would like to speak my mind about all this once more...
As a leader of a guild that has become proud of how its grown I want it to continue growing. However, I'd rather not have a guild full of people that haven't posted or have been around for months. A few months ago I had made an announcement about guild activity and deleting non active members, however that only made people come into the guild and whine that asking them to post a couple times a week was asking too much of them. So I basically said screw it and didn't do anything about it.
Now a week ago I had Artzy make another announcement on the same issue. Everyone saw it and only Rol said something about it. Now when I ask you all why you didn't speak up you say you didn't think it mattered or it wasn't an issue, but now it seems that's not the case.
I said before why would someone join a guild but not post even a single time? I was happy to see that my warning had brought in some old members back, such a Rain and a few others.
It seems like the people that are upset are only upset because they had friends/family that got booted. Rol I personally didn't even know you're brother was a member or anything and I'm sure I'm not the only one that didn't know. I also booted a couple friends of my own so that I would be fair to everyone.
Out of all the members that got booted, can anyone honestly say they notice a difference? I mean the same active people are still here aren't they? Do you even remember half the names of the booted members? ...does anyone even get what I'm trying to say...?

I swear by my pretty floral bonnet...No one acknowledges me when I say things when I agree with Roland, unless I somehow pull up extra drama. So I've mostly stopped trying. Cause I also don't like drama. But like I said just a little bit ago, and no one acknowledged, I'm just kinda Roland's girlfriend. Just kinda there. :/ ...I will end you.

I get what you're saying, LF. I do. But, every issue is like a coin. Lemme flip that coin for you.
They aren't hurting anything. At all. They weren't around to cause drama, nor where they here to do... anything. See, I work at Walmart. I see a LOT of people a day. Do I have anything to do with them? Yes and no. I don't interact with them personally, but I make sure there are carts in the store for them to use.
The inactive members: We don't deal with them personally, but we make sure things are ready for them if they decide to come in and look around. I can't tell you how many times I've looked through my guilds. gone "Oh, I'm a member of this guild? When did I join?" and look around only to find it's awesome.
Not only that, but the guild looks better with higher numbers. Based on the home page, I would rather join a guild with a pokemon league if I saw there was plenty of competition, plenty of members.
Not only this, but there are already rumors about our guild going around. This WILL add to those, you know it.
That took forever to ******** type. o_o

I understand what you're saying perfectly, LF, and I completely agree. (I'm a little bit surprised that you noticed me though, I'll be honest. I was like "Whoa" when I read that.) I didn't say anything about it because I was one of them. I had been inactive for a while and I'm really sorry about that, but getting that announcement made me realize how much I love this guild and I didn't want to lose membership. Therefore, I posted more regularly and tried to prove to you guys that I really want to be here.
I don't think you did anything wrong in following through with your threats. I honestly would rather have active members that we'll all remember and think of as friends than have people who just join for the hell of it and don't do anything. I want what you guys want... A strong, healthy guild with active members who actually CARE about what happens to it.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is that I agree with you, LF, and I support your decisions 110 percent. You are NOT in the wrong here. You made a wise decision and I'm glad that you followed through with it. (Oh...and I STRONGLY OPPOSE you stepping down as captain. I think it's safe to say that we all love you too much to watch you go.)

Okay, now both sides have stated their view. May I suggest a compromise on the in-between?
How about, only kicking those that have never made a single post or donated any gold? If they have at least one post, they stay. Who likes this idea? Simple...you like it, or you don't.

As I said, I'm over it and I was the one who got booted. Now will everyone calm down? I understand both sides. Rol was the only one who opposed so you went with it.
