Seph nodded following the footprints realising that there was a rustling up ahead as if someone had just started running "I'm with you there so let's hurry up before we lose her" she agreed hacking through the bushes with her blade "That woman has some nerve to spy on us like that" she grumbled.
Hebal giggled making sure Ivy had her grip on the fruit "Ok then I'll give you a lift into the tree. It takes practice tree climbing with our feet" she smiled scooping Mari up into her arms "Wheeeee here we go" she squealed jumping into the highest branch she could find strong enough to support the two of them.
Alpha raised his eyebrow slinging the vines over his shoulder "Yeah but I don't know where we are going to spring a trap so I may as well take it with us but... since when were you scared of spiders? It's not something I would out down as something you would be afraid of" he chuckled.
Amane frowned sniffling a little watching the animal rip open her bag and eat a jelly moogle "Aww I can't believe he stole my sweeties. I was saving them for lunch time and he's also going a way from us" she pouted folding her arms.
Melanae patted Amane's ears trying hard not to laugh "Hey don't worry about the sweeties you can have some of mine later. Besides I think they were just trying to test you and see if you flip out or not because take another look" she smiled pointing to the shoopuf turning around and skipping back to them extending his trunk out in front of Amane.

Felina smiled at Jenna giving her a wave before heading back into the forest so that they could see the river but would be far enough away to be unseen "I am sure she will be fine, like you said earlier she and Boco are pretty tough" she reassured Oassu swaying a little in surprise as elsewhere a pair of iron giants walked s traight into the side of her barrier.
Satoshi shook her head again but smirked as half a dozen clones appeared behind Gil throwing a snowball out of each hand at him before disappearing again "Hehe I can so play the game against you even with your six arms" she laughed wiping the snow out of her hair "They aren't the clearest of prints becuase snow melts and gets blown about"
Hayate glared at Alpha searching around for an ideal place to set a trap "Everyone is afraid of something, spiders is a common phobia too unlike water" he shrugged taking the vines off him "If we want to set up a big trap we need somewhere with a reasonable amount of space. The wood will also help to build a cage or even just a cover for the pit once something has fallen into it"

Oassu started catching Felina "Hey...are you ok?" he asked noticing she was swaying "Your not sick or anything right?" he asked placing a hand on her forehead checking for temperature "Should I call the others" he said taking out the walkie talkie.
Gil chuckled turning around and waving to the clones "Hey girls, you got me" he congratulated them brushing the snow off his body "Well what do you think made them then?" he asked the real Satoshi.
Barbaros pointed "Theres a glade up ahead if you wanna beat up that yeti lounging around in it" he said pointing to a yeti sitting back scratching it's butt.
Itaka grunted running after her "What makes you think it's a woman and just use your haste spell we'll catch her." he told her.
Mari smiled settling down so she was comfy on her branch "Ok we're ok now, she said cutting up the pineapple in her bag and eating some "Your jumping skills are really amazing you know that Hebal?" she asked.
Zadina hugged Amane gently "Aww...don't be sad look he's giving you some sweets back" he said happily "Besides he's a cute little shoopuffy isn't he" he said giggling to himself.

Seph blushed stopping for a minute to cast a hate spell on Itaka and herself "Oh yeah I knew that but since we are in a female viera forest it's a good guess on gender plus those prints look like they were made by someone in heels" she pointed out skidding to a hault glancing around "Huh? Whered the person go their footprints have suddenly disapeared" she frowned.
Hebal smiled slumping down on the tree branch but kept her spear out in case she had to suddenly throw it at a fiend "Thanks but it's really nothing, in comparison to other dragoons I am just average, I'll never be as good as the legendary Highwind's" she answered modestly narrowly missing being hit on the head by an orange.
Alpha grinned almost staring at the yeti "Ok then leave this creature to me, it could be pretty fun to take down. I'll just be a few minutes" he told Barbaros and Hayate before charging up to the yeti and jumping on it initiating a wrestling match with the fiend.
Amane smiled in surprise taking what was left of her sweeties "I suppose your right but next time little guy you have to ask before you take my food" she tutted stroking his trunk "I think it's ok for you guys to pet him too you know" she cheered quietly.
Melanae grinned stepping forward to stroke the shoopuf's back "Aww well isn't he cute even if the big one doesn't want to go near us. I think we should give him a name. Something nice and short like Ivan" she suggested opening up a sweetie to give to him.

Felina smiled at Oassu straightening herself up again "Oh no theres no need to go that far. It's just I wasn't concentrating as hard as I should have been and a couple of large fiends just walked into the barrier. You dont need to worry the dizzyness will go away in a second" she told him leaning against him.
Satoshi laughed quietly watching one clone who didn't disappear wave back to Gil "I think it might not be a unicorn but with 4 legs and a medium size.. in fact I would say it's that fiend just over there" she decided pointing to a dual horn casually walking theough the forest oblivious to it's followers.
Hayate rolled his eye at Alpha standing back to watch him wrestle the yeti "I don't mean to be rude but can you just kill it or knock it out already? Wrestling with fiends isn't exactly the most productive thing you could do" he tutted gripping his bow in case the old demon got into trouble.

Oassu smiled using the opportunity to hug Felina "Your doing great Feli, I'm sure with this barrier we'll have a unicorn before the end of the day" he said kissing her.
Gil smiled at the clone "She's a friendly one but it's just a dual horn....not what we're looking for" he sighed turning away from it "Hopefully Felina even trapped a unicorn in this barrier of hers" he said sitting down to pat Enkidu.
Barbaros chuckled "Relax I'm sure he's having the time of his life besides you've seen that nothing in this forest seems that threatening I'm sure he can handle it" he said watching Alpha punch the yeti in the jaw.
Itaka frowned "Right....the heels..." he said thinking for a moment "The trees, she must've climbed up" he said jumping onto a tree and climbing up into them "Whoever she is she's sure making herself look suspicious running like this" he said.
Mari shook her head patting Hebal's ears "Aww who are these highwinds you talk about?" she asked watching a monkey pad across the ground below grabbing a banana before walking off "They must be super dragoons to jump higher than you" she said.
Zadina giggled patting the Shoopuf "Aww he's so cute and I think he likes it" he said watching as the Shoopuf sniffed them all with his trunk "We're so lucky to get to see one but shouldn't we be going to school?" he asked.

Seph gritted her teeth taking off after Itaka "You have to hand it to her she's got to be reasonably fast to escape from people under haste. Unless of course she is hiding somewhere up here" she muttered flying a little higher scanning the treetops "Come out already and we might just forget to rip you to shreds"
Hebal let out a small gasp "You mean you don't know of the legendary Highwinds? They are this really good dragoon family, possibly the best dragoons ever to exist, I heared that this one guy I think his name was Richard was able to jump thousands of feet into the air in just one jump. It would be super if I could jump that good" she told Mari enthusiastically swinging her legs.
Alpha grinned following up his punch with a second one to the back of the head knocking the yeti out cold "That was kinda fun, shame it was just a young one since that reduced the challenge level" he stated proudly carrying the yeti out of the area they wanted to be in then dumped him up against a tree.
Amane giggled rubbing the newly named Ivan's side "Well... we do need to go to school but if you can manage another haste spell we could probably stay a minute longer and you can try petting him" she suggested holding Zadina's arm out and placing it against the animals body.
Melanae sniffed the shoopuf back sticking her tongue out playfully at him "Actually I think we will have to take off around now but Zadina is the guest so it's his call. We could always say we were a little late because he got lost on the way to school where we were meeting him" she suggested quietly.

Satoshi stopped waiting until Gil was ready to keep searching "She's going to move the barrier in about an hour or two so fingers crossed in the next few barriers we will find something. Rare fiend hunting isn't exactly something you can do easily without the aid of sirens but those aren't exactly something you can buy from a shop" she pondered leaning against the tree.
Felina nodded hugging Oassu back "Yeah I really hope so but I won't be able to cast a lot of spells today while the barrier is up. It may be useful but one of this size takes a lot of mana to maintain which means you can't do anything too risky today" she warned him sternly before kissing his ear.
Hayate sighed moving into the glade up ahead "Save your energy for the tougher fiends. There has to be some out there otherwise the viera wouldn't be so into giving everyone a specific job class or set up a watch every night" he pointed out taking one last look at the yeti being dragged off.

Gil nodded "I'd rather find it now but a job is a job, and I might have a Siren on me" he said pushing a button with his knee causing a small tray with miniscule items to appear from it "Let's see now" he said digging through some of the small items "There you go" he said tossing a small siren to Satoshi.
Oassu smiled "We've got plenty of ethers in case you get tired" he said stroking her butt affectionately as they walked along the side of the forest "You reckon the others are having any luck?" he asked
Barbaros shrugged "I guess but they may only come out at night ya?" he said stepping into the glade once Alpha had finished "That was good of you beating up the little child like that Alpha" he chuckled.
Itaka frowned "Yeah, your only making things worse for yourself now reveal yourself before we find you" he commanded barking into the trees on a lower level grinning slightly "Ok hide if you like but I'm going to let my sword do all the investigating before me" he said drawing his sword and slicing into a bunch of leaves before going to look.
Mari gasped "WoooooW they like wouldn't need to book an airship for a holiday they could totally jump their way to another country" she giggled juggling some lemons.
Zadina gasped as he stroked the Shoopuf "Awww it's so cute and soft" he said patting the Shoopuf "Little Ivan the shoopuffy is very nice" he said glancing at his mother "And his mummy is too for letting us pat him" he thanked the mother "But sure we can use haste to get back there but I can't cast it anymore than that" he told them.

Seph growled slicing through one of the smaller tree branches then watched it tumble down to the ground "Don't make me keep slashing until I knock you off, you may like your fancy tricks but I bet you don't want trees cut down for your cowardice" she threatened.
A clicking noise came from behind Itaka followed by a viera appearing from what appeared to be thin air pointing a gun at his head "You wouldn't be doing yourself any favours if you did cut the trees down. You know that poaching is against the law around here" she spat.
Hebal giggled snatching one of the lemons Mari was juggling "hehe I don't think so, they are only good at high jump not long jump but I suppose they could jump on the back of an airship and freeload the whole way to another country... maybe they could jump into the stars that would be cool"she suggested drifting off into a daydream.
Alpha chuckled patting his chest "It wasn't a child more a teenager and it wasn't as if he wasn't up for a wrestle he got really stuck into it" he argued rubbing his nose where the yeti tried to pull it off during the fight "The fiends could also be more hostile at night because of the fog, might be mist or something similar."
Melanae nodded her head at Zadina to show she understood him then smiled at the bigger shoopuf "Relax one haste spell is all we will need for the rest of the day and you can rest up and relax in school while having a nice easy day of learning" she laughed.
Amane cheered dancing around Ivan playfully "Yeah they both are really nice, we were so lucky to get one to come up to us even if he did snatch my sweeties and eat all my favourite flavours" she grinned resisting the temptation to jump on the creaturs back and ride it.

Felina sighed taking out her first ether to drink "I don't know. I would love to believe one of them found something straight away but if we look at probability they are most likely having the same amount of luck as us" she answered squeezing Oassu back relieved Jenna wasn't close enough to see.
Satoshi raised her eyebrow accepting the siren from Gil "You kept that secret compartment quiet, does it not feel weird storing so many items there?" she asked fiddling with the siren until it started making a high pitched sound "Ok the fiends should come to us in no time, hopefully it will be the right rare fiend"
Hayate paused leaving the glade briefly gathering up bits of wood and logs lying around on the ground this place is as good as any to set up a big trap. But I guess we will never know since we aren't going to be hanging about at night" he shrugged casting a spell causing the earth to shake and crack open a little.

Oassu smiled "Well when you look at it collectively working all together we're covering a large area, it's only a mile wide barrier right? It's not like it'd be hard to find the others and they are covering another area if it's not here it'll be in the next barrier or something and we'll find it soon enough" he reassured her.
Gil chuckled "Actually this armour plating is quite thin and mostly hollow allowing for all these compartments, it's just the metal is that strong it doesn't need to be thick." he said tapping it "And these items are all microsized, I have them specially made, a nu mou alchemist I know creates most of these little tablets for example..." he said pulling out a tiny green pellet "Instant potion, works with the saliva in your mouth to create the effect of a potion" he said downing the pellet and visibly relaxing at the effect "Plus it won't spill break and is very compact" he said turning to parry a courl's claw before stabbing it's belly and dropping it to the ground.
Barbaros frowned "We could stake the place out I guess if we want to watch the trap through the night," he yawned "But I'm no night owl someone else can take that job" he said reaching up to grab some vines before cutting them loose using a small knife.
Itaka frowned turning around slowly "I didn't think Viera used guns....and we haven't poached anything," he said glaring at her "Like to tell us why you were spying on us?" he asked.
Mari giggled "Into the stars....I wonder what its like out there in space" she said gazing into the sky beginning to daydream as well.
Zadina giggled hugging Ivan gently before releasing him "Well that just means he has the same tastes as you Amane but shall we get going?" he said stroking Ivan's trunk gently

Seph snarled swooping down to see what the commotion was coming to a stop realising the current situation "We haven't shot at any fiends around here I'll have you know, we are just looking around seeing if we can spot some rare before we fly off again and what gives you the right to spy on us" she growled waiting for the first opportunity to take the gun without risking hurting Itaka.
The viera rolled her eyes at Seph but kept her focus on Itaka "I don't particulaly like guns but this right now seems the best option. Considering all you and your friends talk about hunting fiends earlier I would say that is enough to launch an enquiry into your activities. If you don't like what I saw you should go somewhere private" she grunted.
Hebal gasped in awe glancing up at the sky "Who knows what it's like up there beyond the stars. Maybe full of pretty space people and worlds like this one... but unfortunately I don't think we will ever know, not in the current time so lets eat!" she giggled jugging a bunch of apples almost dropping one on the ground straight away.
Alpha grinned snapping up a few tree branches then tossed them over to Hayate "I think thats going to be your job Hayate, the two of us sleep to much and... well sometimes I wonder if you sleep at all. Then again we could always leave it be and check back in the morning" he chuckled pulling a few vines down.
Amane nodded reluctantly pulling away from their new friend "Buh bye Ivan come back and see us sometime along with your mummy" she told the shoopuf giving him a wave "Haste away Zadina, we need to get to school in 5 minutes or else we'll be super late and then will go in detention"
Melanae laughed giving Ivan one last pat on the trunk "Don't out pressure on Zadina, we have 10minutes max to get back to the village and into the school yard so do your stuff my elfy friend" she encouraged him offering him a sugar mouse "Oh that reminds me I hope you don't mind us putting you on school lunches?"

Satoshi sighed looking at the remains of the coeurl "Thats one fiend the siren brought here, I am surprised it has enough juice for a second one with that size. Plus you might not want to waste your potions" she commented grabbing hold of a kunai as a green nymph approached the two of them trying to offer the two of them a piece of fruit each.
Felina nodded stretching her legs out and giving them a good shake "My feet are already hurting a little but which is a good sign, means we're working hard enough. With Jenna and Barbaros with bikes and chocobos we'll get it covered faster... we need to get a chocobo sometime"
Hayate frowned tying the thicker bits of wood together with the vines "Yeah sure I could wait around in the forest tonight and see what comes about, it's not the first time I have spent a night in a forest filled with aggressive fiends back home. Could you two dig a little and open that hole in the ground further?"

Gil smirked "Half the size all the potency don't worry about it" he chuckled happily accepting the fruit the Nymph offered "And it got us a little snack out of it too" he said scratching his chin and glancing at the Nymph "I don't suppose you've seen a unicorn anywhere nearby in this forest have you?" he asked the nymph.
Oassu smiled "You think we need a chocobo?" he asked her throwing a kunai into a lupine that was approaching them rapidly. "You could easily afford one if you wanted" he said sticking his head out of the trees glancing across the river to check in on Jenna who waved back.
Barbaros nodded dumping the vines on the ground "You sure you'd be ok out here at night? You saw the size of the spiderweb, there's a lot worse than we've encountered lurking in this forest." he said digging.
Itaka glanced to the side noting Seph's position "So what if we're hunting fiends, a little training never hurt anyone we've not killed anything in our trip so far" he said "Also I'd consider the middle of the forest a pretty private place wouldn't you Seph?" he chuckled "But still who are you and what were you doing spying on us...you can't be an ordinary Viera if your using a gun, this village doesn't do that training to my knowledge" he commented examining her weapon but keeping his hands in view.
Mari giggled taking an apple and munching on it but holding on to her branch as it wobbled slightly as a dual horn passed through stopping to munch on the apples. Mari passed the apple to Sophia in the bag "Maybe one day you'll become a super jumper and you can go find out for yourself!" she beamed.
Zadina nodded opening his book again and casting haste "Alrightgirlswecangonow." he said quickly "ByebyeIvanandmummy!" he said waving to the shoopufs which raised a trunk to wave back before Zadina took off back the way they came "Whatdoyoumeanyou'vegotmeonschoollunches?" he asked
