Oh, the chaos which may ensue~ all in thanks to the wonders of technology! And is there really such a thing as having too much fun? Pffh, I think not.

Have fun with your 'puter shopping.

Well I got them the new pc and it runs all the games flawless. I let them use my extra 23 inch wide screen monitor and they love it... smile So today was a success!

Aww, that's so sweet~ they're gamers. Being as such, may their new monitor treat them faithfully and effectively, with a very high kill count for the two of them in the coming weeks.

My father had offered to buy me a larger monitor, when he chose to spoil himself with one, and had been surprised when I'd happily turned him down. In truth, from this gamer's perspective, the size of a screen makes a big difference, when you're searching for potential threats.

There's an opportune size to take in your surroundings, as opposed to either not having enough room to find your shadow or having so much of your territory to scan that you'll probably be looking the other way, when a sniper has taken aim and takes your *&%( the #@!$ out.

Which size do you prefer?

23 inch wide screen is also what I use... I play all my games on 1920 x 1080 screen resolution... I can see anything and everything clear as day! Hiding from me... good luck!

today is my daughter's first day of school. i didn't think it was going to be so hard watching her get on the bus.

i mean her classroom is right by the doors so it's easy for her to find. i'm sure there is someone there to help her. and we went and met her teacher and visited the classroom yesterday so she knows what it looks like. still i'm worrying about her. lol. and my son cried cuz he couldn't go on the bus with her.

awwww poor little guy. He'll have his turn. My kids start next week right after Labor Day. My son is in 7th grade now (on the brink of becoming a teenager! yikes!), and my daughter is in 2nd grade.

I suppose that my being petite may sway my opinion. The boy with the biggest toy.. yeah~ yeah.. but, at times like these, I love being a girl.

And oh goodness, the first day of school is always rough. On my first day of kindergarten, I can clearly remember my mother telling me that we could easily return home, if I wasn't ready. Darn enabler~ why hadn't I accepted her offer? c;

Just wanted to drop by and wish you all well. the time has come that I am bidding AGA goodbye and I wont be on Gaia much anymore. Overall I have just been losing interest and I don't really chat much on the site anymore.

@Camwen, you have done a great job since taking over and I do wish the best for you and the rest of the AGA.

I'll still check my PM's over the next 2 weeks but after that those who have my email or Facebook can reach me there.
Hugs Take care all and have a good rest of the weekend and coming week.
