"House arrest," she muttered to herself. "I can't ******** believe it." She shook her head. "I'll kill that ******** chief myself if I get the chance."

Sami shrugged.

"Yeah," but then something occurred to her. "Wait a second..." she grinned. "We could actually get this to work to our advantage..."

Sami smirked. It was all starting to come together.

"Even though it'll be hard getting in, having Rose and Anthony on house arrest means that they won't be able to move," she breathed. "At least, not as much, so it'll be easy to track them down. And since they're confined to one particular spot, if we play our cards right..." Her eyes widened. "I don't even need to infiltrate. I'd just seduce the guards, snatch the keys and get in. I could lie and say I'm just in the Mafia to gain their trust, but what I really want to do is get into the police force. I could give Anthony a whole schmeal about how I want to help the people, and how what Rose said to me at the hospital got to me, and how I want to help." She nodded, mostly to herself. "In the meantime I act like a messenger between Anthony and Arthur, as a 'Mafia spy'." She did the quotation sign with her hands. "During that time I can gain the trust of BOTH Anthony and Arthur, during which it would be easy to sneak the tape into his office before his death!" She hit the steering wheel. "It's perfect! We could pull it off!"

Sami opened her mouth to respond - the respond full of wit, I'm sure - but then she blinked and pursed her lips, looking away in thought.

"Well..." her thoughts went to the small bottle. "As previously stated, there are methods that are fail-safe." She leaned back in her chair. "Given the right set of conditions, someone will even agree to selling their soul to the devil - IF the conditions are right." She opened her eyes again, slightly irked that traffic had yet to move. There must have been some sort of accident further ahead. She held her chin in thought, gazing at the bumper of the car in front of her. "There IS a lot up to chance, but since whenever has there been a plan where everything had a hundred percent chance of going right?" Her eyes sharpened before she smiled crookedly, leaning over to check the song that was playing before turning her gaze back to the road. "Maximum, we bring out the big guns."

One wondered what 'big guns' she was talking about.

And I was hoping Tony would be perverted and take 'BIG GUNS' as something else... xd ))

Sami hummed to herself.

"There's always a possibility that Anthony will side with his girlfriend and turn his back on the Mafia," she stated. "When THAT happens, you're screwed." Her eyes narrowed. "But if Rose gets killed, the Mafia will surely be blamed, and THAT might push Anthony to reveal everything about the organization as well... that's a fine line we're stepping here..." her eyes narrowed. "We have to make it look like an accident, but that's going to be hard if they're both going to be put under house arrest. Maybe a lover's quarrel where she gets strangled or shot and Anthony has no memory of it. That would surely break him and want him for murder, and then the Mafia steps in and offers him solace. Hm..."

Sami nodded.

"Right," she replied. "But we can only brainstorm for now. The real planning will have to happen after we assess the security of their permanent house-arrest location. I heard something while they were talking with Arthur about where they're going now being only temporary. We can take this time to study the system in which they transport the house arrestees from car to house." She pursed her lips. "My my, how fun." She rolled her eyes and looked away. "Like watching paint dry."
