i hate to sound so mean but to me it seems that the emo kid is just the newest version of the wannabe only this time they emulate the depressed.

THANK YOU SHARK!! Finally, someone who actually knows what an emo is. And yes Stefanie, I have tried to help emo kids before, several times. They don't except help at all, pompous, depressed, attention grabbing swine. They just want attention by acting like the victim, when in reality, they're just a neglected soul, and they can't let go of something in their past. No matter how much you try, the attention falls into a bottomless pit, and they crave more. An endless cycle that they themselves create, and it's stupid to witness. ninja Emos are useless in my opinion, but that's just me.

alot they think they have problems and issues and act like they do. really though its just teen angst blown out of proportion.
most of them don't have any idea what having real problems and what real depression is.

Exactly. They haven't experienced true loss, agony, or sorrow. Others have, and those are the ones who neeed the help that we so uselessly waste on emo children.

i think what really get to me though is i have have experienced a real tradgedy but i still keep going i don't act emo whatsoever. and then people who have little problems people who actually no real problems act like the entire world is against them. i think thats what really gets to me.
