Togan:
he got on his arms and started to do push ups.
it didnt bother him.
he had worked on a farm with his father he wasnt unfit.
he didnt know if he could do 55 but he would give it a shot.
"ill give it a try" he said to Gren.
Sek:
"You are compared to me elf. and youd be best to choose your words lightly.....you may be one of Gwendars servants by law....but i am far above his rank." he said as she walked away
Gwendar:
"Sek why must you make things difficult?" he said sternly
"these people dont deserve such treatment"
Sek:
"If there is one thing i do is keep the word of law.....these people you refer to are your 'servants' according to imperial law.....a servant should never speak that way to a high ranking official.....I am a witch hunter....you know just as well as i we are not ment to be liked by the people...simply feared." he said before walking off.
Gwendar:
"Where are you going now?"
Sek:
"im inspecting the village of coruption......better a witch hunter such as me void of bias towards a man who favors elves, then a witch hunter insulted by your actions." he said looking back.
"imperial inspection is unavoidable.....at least if i say this place is pure people wont argue."

Nebride began to walk back towards Gwendar and Sek. She watched as Sek turned and walked away. "Hmm...I wonder what's wrong?" Nebride stopped when her eyes met Sek's and suddenly Jane was speaking to her.
"High Priestess. We need you in the temple. There is something that you must see. I have never seen this done before."
Nebride sighed as she shook her head. "I come." She gave Sek a nod as she walked past him towards the temple. She lightly touched Gwendar's arm.
"I have to go to the temple---something is happening there. Feel free to walk around or go back to the house." Nebride kissed him softly and walked away.

Gwendar:
he wanted to kiss her but she was clearly busy.
he wasnt so much disappointed in Sek he just thought things would have been a little easier.
he made his way back to Nebride's house.
he realised how tired he was and needed a quick rest.
Sek:
he walked around the village.
every surprised or frightened look he got he made sure he returned with a stern and questioning gaze.
nothing out of the ordinary....as far as elves go anyway.
he was busy looking at a particular symbol on a door when a small elven child bumped into him.
"sorry sir......" the boy said before he realized who he just bumped into.
Sek simply stopped and looked at the child.
he wasnt used to this sort of thing most of the time if he was walking through a town the people would lock themselves away or stand back in fear or awe.
the boy was to surprised and was to busy looking at Seks white and gold armour. it was only when he noticed that the red streaks was blood that he took several steps back.
"thats the sort of way you should act around us boy......(sigh).....only through fear is there obedience.....and faith" he said.
it was then that he remembered that this village had a temple.
i must see within that temple.....the elves consult spirits within those walls.....they may need purging

Nebride entered the temple as priestesses ran around franctically. "Jane, what is going on?"
Jane stopped and looked at Nebride. "Thank the Gods you're here! Come with me! You must see this!" She grasped Nebride's hand and pulled her towards the inner sanctum. "Never before--I don't think this has happened for a great many years."
"Jane I don't...." Nebride's words trailed off when they entered the sanctum and she saw an amazing sight. Above their heads a swirling of lights. She had never seen this done before, but she knew what was happening. A God wanted to speak.
"HIGH PRIESTESS OF THIS TEMPLE. THERE ARE THINGS THAT MUST BE SAID THAT CANNOT AND SHOULDN'T BE SAID. YOU, ALONG WITH THE EX-WITCH HUNTER, GWENDAR AND THE WITCH HUNTER, SEK---MUST BE HERE TO HEAR." A voice echoed througout the sanctum.
Nebride stepped back slightly. "Jane--come with me." She led Jane out of the temple and saw Sek a little bit away. "Go and get Gwendar--I will retrieve Sek."
"But Nebride--"
"Go Jane." Nebride pushed her away and went to Sek. "You are being summoned to the temple. Consider yourself lucky--no man has ever entered the inner sanctum." She sighed at his look. "I, or my priestesses do not summon you---a God summons you."

Jane reached Nebride's house and entered slowly. She found Gwendar resting on the couch. "Gwendar--Nebride needs you in the temple. Come with me quickly."

gren:
i looked over to the door. i didn't know what but something felt different. "we'll continue when i get back. stay here." i stood up and walked outside. things were getting kind of confusing. there was a strong presence nearby but it wasn't coming from any of the elves including nebride and jane.
"nebride!" i ran over to her once she was in sight. "is something going on? and don't lie"

Nebride looked at Gren. "Yes..something is going on, but you don't need to worry about it. It's in the temple. Stay with Togan until I figure it out okay?"

he didnt have much time to rest he was soon dragged into the temple.
he was slightly confused and half asleep he thought only elves could enter.
Sek:
he was quickly hurried into the temple hall.
"WHATS THE MEANING OF THIS!!!"
" I DEMAND...............By the gods........its the holy goddess Harmony" he saw before him many swirling lights each one like a beam from heaven.
he quickly bowed and kissed his pendants and prayed.
when he had finished he stood up and looked around checking his suroundings.
he noticed several elves (probably priestess) running around frantically.
"BY THE GODS SLOW DOWN....SHOW RESPECT BOW IN FRONT OF SUCH A PRESENCE.....shes the god of harmony........the emperors only superior.

"Whats going on Gren?" he asked her after he found her talking to Nebride.

i turned around when i heard togan's voice. why had he followed me? i told him to stay there. "it's nothing" i said with a sigh, and placed my hand on his shoulder "we don't need to be concerned about it." i smiled and walked with him back to the house.

well this certainly was a fun little adventure now wasnt it? i mean im gone for a little while and when i come back all the mercs are gone and you guys are kidnapped ...wow this certanly is a story ill remember for some time *he said as him and grael marched back to camp*

Nebride looked to Sek. "There is no need to shout. They have already payed their respects." She knelt before the goddess and her robes flowed around her.
"Avale, Harmony--mma ai yamen es malla ed e vanima avale nala lye." Nebride stayed kneeling in place with Jane right next to her, silent.
***Goddess, Harmony--our small place is honored by the beautiful goddess before us.***

Sek:
he didnt like tha idea of an elf speaking to the holy presence. However in the eyes of the gods she was a priestess and as such deserves the honor.
Sek being an inquisitor however had a far greater right.
he didnt let Nebride finish talking in her 'native' tongue.
he kneeled in front of her and held up his halberd that seemed to shine a golden glow. the blood stains on his armor seemed to dull and disappear in the gods presence.
"Oh Shining goddess Harmony.....may our mortal souls be blessed by your grace. Surly your divine presence here is for a great purpose.
Whatever your holy quest may be I High Inquisitor Sek The Emperors loyal servant shall aid you in whatever form possible....even unto death." he said almost praying.
he then remembered the war against the daemons in the north.
"Your holiness i feel it is my duty to mention the great war.......the enemies of your children are swarming against us.....with your blessing may i ask for guidance so that i may pass it on to your mortal representative the Mighty Emperor."

Nebride ignored the fact, for now, that Sek and interrupted her. It was not best to fight with him in front of the Goddess. She stood up and stood next to Gwendar.
"We have been blessed here today. To have a Goddess be here in our temple now---it is a true blessing."

Harmony:
her voice echoed throughout the room.
she sounded angelic.
"Yes.....You are all truly blessed....but i bring grave news......death will soon be upon us."
Sek:
he needed to speak.
"My God please our armies will defeat the daemons with your blessing"
Harmony:
"My blessing will save you no pain. the dark keeper is marching toward us....only through peace can his dark shroud be lifted."
Gwendar:
he had gone to long without speaking.
what peace could she refer to. fighting the daemons was not considered war to the gods. if anyhting it was preserving the peace.
there have been many wars.
some even against other states of man. many deemed necessary to the emperor. and he only fights for peace. so they say.
"What peace? surly we cannot stop the battle against the daemons...who else are we fighting?"
Harmony:
"I Harmony have made all living things spare a few. Humanity and elves both made from my blood. the hidden war between the two must end. only through peace can all that i have made be spared the fate of untimely death."
Sek: he turned his head toward Nebride. she did so as well.
with that the glowing presence of the god disappeared in a great shine. Gwendar could have sworn he heard angels singing as the god left the temple.

"lets get back to work then....haha you dont want to slack off" he said joking as he walked back to the house.
