Reika shuddered against her will, hoping she hadn't offended the serpent. She still didn't know what to say, wich only made her feel stupid.

Zani didn’t answer him. He did not need to know her private business, and the students were still there. The serpent sighed. “Still as stiff and closed off as ever, I see.” Turning his head to look at them all sideways, he stared at Kigaku with one eye. “Mortal, I am not going to eat you so you may as well relax. Now may I please know your names by which you all currently go by?” he said with a pointed looked at Zani. “My name is Zanita Tyberius.” She said, looking at her students, waiting for them to introduce themselves and their animals. She looked down at the still grinning frog, wondering if Kigaku had named it yet.

Reika sighed, grateful to say something instead of standing there dumbstruck. " My name is Reika Mishima. My companion here is Rossi." she said raising her head slightly.

Kigaku was confused. "My name is Kigaku Sutego, and the frog isn't really my companion, nor does he have a name. My 'companion' is in my dorm, I think sleeping. Her name is Konna." He said with a small bit of attitude, because, frankly, Kigaku does not like to be underestimated by anyone.

Jack was sitting at his desk in his room reading his acceptance letter. He kept rereading the same part over and over again:
'We will send someone to receive you tomorrow afternoon. Wait in your room and make sure that you have everything you want to take with you.'
The half finished note to his parents stared up at him from his desk. He put down the letter. He had found this school for those like him online. It was a top secret site that he happened to stumble upon. He sent an application a month ago and had been eagerly awaiting a response whether it be one to accept or one to decline.
'You knew I was special. I know now too. And because of this, I have to leave. Don’t worry. Don’t search for me. I have applied and been accepted to a school for those like me. I will return in the future.

Tears welled up as he placed the pencil by the paper. He couldn’t bear the thought of leaving his parents behind. The one’s that had raised him from when he was a little kid. He applied without telling his parents, snatched the letter from the mail box without them knowing, and now he was leaving them without them suspecting. But he couldn’t stay any longer. Already his powers were getting out of hand. He couldn’t control very well; he needed help even though he didn’t want to accept it. He lifted up his right arm. Blue aura flowed around his arm. It swirled around like a ballet and then the several strands plunged into his arm. It had grown misty and transparent, like a spirit.
Jack heard the clunk of boots hit something behind him. He slowly turned his head halfway to see a man with purple hair and casual clothes. Jack’s unconsciousness reached out to the man but brushed straight off. He had walled off his mind to others. In a monotonous tone he asked, “Jack?” He nervously nodded his head. The man responded that they needed to get going because he was already late. As Jack stood up and picked up his backpack that was laying next to the chair, the man asked if he wanted to say anything before he left. Reluctantly, Jack shook his head. Jack’s suitcase was already in the man’s hand; he was ready to go.
Holding out his free hand, the man waited. Jack took it and was off in a flash. The man slashed his arm through the air leaving a dark gash in the space. He was floating in the dark, that was the sensation he was getting and he didn’t appreciate it one bit. Jack was starting to freak out, he possessed a touch of claustrophobia and it was acting up majorly. He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on something happy.
When he opened his eyes he was on the floor, on all fours, panting for breath. The man plopped a letter on the floor and then was gone as soon as he had arrived. Jack finally recovered from his panic attack and looked around. It seemed to him that he was in a dorm room, like the one that the site had explained to him. It had two beds, two desks, two closets, a bookshelf and then another door which Jack found out later was a bathroom.
When Jack regained his composure he looked at the letter; it had Jack’s name on it. He slid his thumb across the back and opened up the letter. It held his class information and a list of his teachers. It also said his dorm number (which he was already in) and his key card, to get into his dorm ((I just assumed you needed some sort of key to get into the dorm sweatdrop )).
Jack stood up and saw a rustling from the bed right next to him. Kigaku?? Jack’s mind brushed against an unsuspecting mind. What is this? It’s so complex! It’s nothing like a bird… he mused. Out from the covers popped little Konna. You’re not Kigaku she sulked. Curiosity crept through Jack’s eyes. “What are you??” Jack asked. I’m a kitsune, but it’s not like you can hear me or anything. Jack sensed the little sass and responded back, “You wanna bet?” He grinned playfully as the little ball of fuzz took a step back in surprise.
Jack’s face contorted in pain. His arm started to hurt terribly. He felt the energy build-up in his right shoulder as he winced. “Hold it…” Jack managed to say as he wobbled over towards the window. He opened it up, pulled away the screen and held his right arm out the window. Jack’s arm turned bright red as it was surrounded by his aura. With a final scream of agony he released the pent up energy and shot and ice missile into the sky. Jack relaxed as he sat down on the nearest bed, his bed.
He grinned sheepishly, “Ow…”((sorry that this was soo long sweatdrop I just started typing and couldn't stop...))

Kit saw a beam of ice launch into the sky, and he couldnt help but be concerned. He quickly swam to the edge of the lake and pulled himself out, stumbling over himself as he walked towards the dorm building. When he was under the window that he thought had seen the ice shoot out of, he magnatized a coin in his hand to the frame of the window and made his way up. He braced his hand on the bricks framing the window and twitched, unlocking the window and opening it "Hey.. everything all right...?" he asked, pulling half his body in so he could sit on the window sill.

Reika jumped in suprise and turned to where the energy was released. "Wait...Kigaku that's your window!" she exclaimed pointing up to his windo, she could see hers just fine and was sure that was his dorm. She turned back to the serpent nervously, wondering how he'd react to that.

“Hello Reika, hello Rossi, hello Kigaku, hello Zanita. The little frog would like to be named by you, Kigaku, since you did summon him.” The serpent said. “Also, could you name me as well? I seem to have forgotten mine in my slumber.” He said with a twinkle in his eye, and Zani blinked in surprise. This was quite an honor the kids were getting to experience. To name a summoned creature was duty, but to name and ANCIENT summoned creature was a great mark of respect. It would forever show in their magic that they were tied to this creature, and they could summon him when needed. Zani hoped they didn’t pass this up. “Well? Are you going to name the Serpent?” she asked with a little impatience showing in her voice. The beast rumbled his throat, and the little frog croaked in answer.

Jack twisted his body to see who just opened up his window and came face to face with a red-haired kid. Jack was massaging his right shoulder as he said, "Eh, I'm fine..." Kigaku?? Konna squirmed out from under the covers again. pfft, who cares about you... Jack chuckled at the little kitsune's attitude as she hid under the covers again. "Wait a second, how did you get up here?" He asked. Konna appeared from under the sheets again, would you mind closing the window already? Jack went back to rubbing his shoulder as he waited for his reply.

"eh.. same way you did. Only cooler" he replied, swinging his other leg into the room and twitching again, sending the window back down and locking it. He took a quick look around the room and looked back at the mans bed.

Kigaku dove for the ground, thinking it was a bullet. He stood back up and after Reika pointed out that it was his window, he was slightly confused. Who would be in my dorm? Wait, and ice type attack. I know that Fang knows ice moves, but why would he be in my dorm? He wouldnt be thinking of eating Konna?! He was about to run towards the building, but stopped because of the giant serpent behind him. "Sorry about that mister Serpent." Kigaku said with an apologetic tone and continued. "Ummm, I don't have an idea what to name you or the frog." He thought for a moment then said, "How about Shinja, it means sacred snake." He grinned. "And the frog...KeroKero, or the sound a frog makes in other words." The frogs eyes lite up and it started to croak a little bit.
(Does this mean we can summon him whenever we want?)

((yeah basically. he will come to you if you call his name, once both of you agree on what it will be. he can shrink to about the size of a normal snake, but he has wings in that form to help him around.))

"What are you doing in here?!" Jack almost yelled out of surprise. Another surge of pain sent him to his knees. As he struggled up he saw that the little kitsune was staring at him. Do you have name? Jack asked the little critter. She seemed to scoff at him Of course I have a name... it's Konna. Jack finally regained balance and stared at the fridge Got any ice around here, Konna? Why wouldn't we? she replied as she got down from the bed and danced around at Jack's feet. A little grin cracked his lips as he strode over to the refrigerator. Jack pulled out a freezer bag from his back pocket that held his iPod and cell. "Just in case I decide to leak water," he said to no one in particular, "can't control everything yet."
He emptied the contents on the floor, put ice into the bag and sealed it. He went to sit on his roommates bed while place the ice on his stinging shoulder. Konna hopped up onto the bed and lay down next to Jack with his cell phone in her mouth. Jack didn't seem to care, but a movement made him look up. Kit was still there. "You're still here? Um... do you mind leaving...I'm... ah, kinda tired..."

"Ok.. whatever..." he said and twitched again, causing the window to unlock and open. He waved goodbye to the man and fell out of the room backwards, taking a moment the close the window and lock it behind him. he quickly flipped himself over and landed perfectly fine on the ground, lowering himself slowly and sitting with his back against the wall.
