((BLARG! I'm so happy for you Metzli! I LOVE Girugamesh! Funny_Man0... I'll try my best... I'm not sure it'll work though ^_^'... -_-'))
Nicholas questioned Eri silently with a look, he sniffed the air, and finally shrugged. Kalila removed her mask and reached to remove Nicholas's. He did it on his own before she could reach, shielding his face with his forearm from his older sister. Kalila took a deep breath with her nose and got nothing. She had been crying, thus her nose wasn't clear enough to smell anything that would be a small detail. Nicholas, however, turned back to Eri. "Yeah... I smell something. It's probably some people who were here before hand. Probably cooked something. It's not important... I still say we should avoid people." Nicholas said bitterly. "For now I agree..." Kalila piped up. "We should avoid people at least until we get rid of that infected." She said pointing with an open palm in the general direction Eri had pointed out. She put her mask back on and her younger brother followed suit. However, before either sibling could go on to fight off the infected Eri spoke of, David lead the group ahead. The siblings didn't question David, When Mizuki was gone, and it just seemed kind of normal to have David as the leader. The group made it around a corner when they noticed a pink soft slab of meat. It looked smooshed around in some places, acidic burns. David examined it thoroughly; Kalila, Nicholas, and his son looking to him for an explanation. A few moments later David bodily jerked and ran off into a direction. Nicholas brought his gun up to look through the scope, looking at the direction the scientist ran to, fully ready to see something threatening. Kalila had started running with David, a few feet behind him until he looked back sternly. Kalila immediately stopped and ran back to stand with her brother because David looked like he meant business. It seemed Alex felt the same way for he stood near the two. "What do you think happened?" Kalila whispered to Alex.
The cousins were both ready to fire when David had took off running. Went they were silently told to stay they did not calm, but became more paranoid. David running off from a group not only signaled infected to his presence, but the presence of the group as well. As the teenagers huddled together, Ada looked to the three. They all looked like they could use some down time. Nicholas looked frustrated, Kalila still looked like her world was crashing down around her, and Alex looked plain drained. Nikita was still looking for infected. He was sure they were going to be attacked. There were just too many of them not to get noticed. Nikita's eyes played tricks on him and he shot at what he thought was movement. However, it was merely the vibrating illusion created by complimentary colors; in this case, blue and orange. It had been spray paint cans. When the bullets pierced it a colorful explosion of orange, similar to that of the sibling's onion bombs, but much more liquid-y, erupted and knocked over the entire box of them. There was multiple loud, metallic thuds and to add on to the noise, the rolling of the cans. Nikita cursed in his head and knew that if the infected didn't know where they were before they knew now. He quickly piped up with an apology. He received a deathly glare from his older cousin.
"F*ck!" Kalila exclaimed as she automatically brought her katana up and put her other hand up to signal Alex and Nicholas to stand behind her when she had heard the cans fall. Her heartbeats increased dramatically in speed. The noise had scared her a lot. Nicholas's hand had shot out and gripped his sister's forearm. Nikita apologized and Nicholas let go, scanning the area with his battle rifle at eye level. They were about the hardware area at the moment, almost back left corner of the huge building. The selection wasn't that great however, because the Walton family (Owner of the huge mega-corporation that owns Walmart) rather you go to the other store they own, such a Lowes for your hardware needs. It seemed David had run off towards camping, which was in the middle back of the store. The backpacks and suit cases were only a few feet from them and past that were the toy isles. Near the front and complete right third of the store was food. The middle front was clothing. Nobody knew at the moment, but the group was split completely apart from David and Mizuki at the moment. Something behind the group knocked over a couple hammers. Both siblings turned on the spot. An infected was banging its head against bar, gripping it arm. It looked to be in excruciating pain. So much so, it seemed to forget about the group as it screeched in a high pitch. It was kind of sad though, for it would have made an amazing sneak attack. It had gone around the bags and cases area to sneak up behind the group. Kalila looked at it more thoroughly and noticed the sharp end of one of the hammers had embedded itself into its forearm. It seemed everyone was stuck in a fearful fascination, watching it's odd behavior as it was in pain. "Well! Shoot!" Kalila demanded, being the first one to come out of the trance.
Ada shot point blank into its skull. She had estimated it's back and forth movement enough to hit. Nikita shot a couple of rounds at the same time as Ada and Nicholas. However, his and Nicholas's shots missed a lot of the time. Nicholas had just focused on the legs instead, to paralyze it, while Nikita shot at the heart area, for old habits die hard. The infected crumbled on to the ground as Nicholas had destroyed it's leg, it was dead a few milliseconds before that from Ada's shots, and it fell backwards on to it's back from Nikita's shots. ((Funny_Man0, You can get a couple shots in there if you want)) Ada looked to Eri and seriously asked her if that was the infected she was detecting or if there was another one around.
It became awkwardly silent for a little bit, the group just kind of looked around for anymore signs of infected. Nicholas looked at his sister. She seemed a little more edgy than before. Kalila did not like the fact that the father figure of the group was gone. Now they were all just a group of young people and it was driving her crazy. Nicholas picked up on it. "We should try to find David." Nicholas whispered, he still didn't trust the area as complete secure. "No... No. David didn't want us to go with him..." Kalila said biting her lip and looking off at the ground. She was completely contradicting what she really wanted to do. She didn't fell safe with David gone and she didn't feel David was safe when he was gone. "Well fine... Can we at least not stay in the open like this? It's making me nervous..." Nicholas confessed. "But if we move David won't be able to find us..." "So we just stay here?" Nicholas said in a tone that sounded like he believed it was the stupidest idea ever. Ada spoke up expressing her agreement with Kalila. She told Nicholas David wouldn't be able to find them if they moved from this place. She also said it was unsafe, because if either party went hunting around they had a higher possibility of running into people or infected. Nikita was hungry for a real meal at the moment. The slimfast was long gone due to a fast metabolism. "Fine... But I have to go to the bathroom, I'm tired, and we should probably secure this area somehow." Nicholas said crossing his arms. "Not to mention I'm completely gross and I would love to take a bath and change..." Kalila mumbled. "That is completely illogical!" "Not if we secure the area! Just look at this!" Kalila said taking a handful of her skirt and swishing it around. The blood-covered piece of artwork she had created was stiff with dried blood in its fibers. "It's gross! Plus... If I get injured or get this in my mouth somehow I have a high risk of getting infected... Hopefully the virus in the blood died off from not having a host in so long though..." She mumbled off.

[[ok, it was just a suggestiong... besides Alex is contradicting me...]] Alex whispered back to Kalila, "I dunno, I think he saw something." standing there staring off into the direction his dad had ran off, Alex nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the cans explode. "Holy sh**" Alex said, grabbing his chest. Alex got behind Kalila out of instinct, and flinched out of instinct of her raising her hand. Alex just stood there, then he heard an infected. It was behind them, ramming its head continuosly into a pole. It had the sharp end of a hammer stuck in its arm. Alex grabbed his ears as the high pitch squeel started to peirce his brain, or at least it felt that way. Following suit with everyone else, Alex pulled out his smith & wesson, and aimed for the infected's head. Still holding his ears, his aiming pulled slightly down, causing the bullet to hit the infected's neck. After it had already died, the bullet peirced its neck, causing all of it's neck to explode, causing dark goop to fly in nearly every possible direction. After its neck exploded, its head fell of landing on the floor with a THUMP! Alex wiped the goop off of his goggles then said, "Sorry." Afterwhich it became silent. Alex listened to Nicholas and Kalila exchanged their arguments, then Ada piped up. "I don't care what my dad wants, he's completely useless by himself. He won't be able to find us even if we do sit still, so we might as well go and look for him... Besides, if I know my dad, he probably expects us to go on the move, even if he doesn't want us to follow him." Alex stated, shrugging a little bit. David sneezed, Someone's talking ill about me. He thought, always supersticious, despite being a scientist. Then Alex listened to Kalila, realizing he had to go to the bathroom too... It's amazing how much you can ignore when you fear for your life... such as sleep, hygene, and going to the bathroom. "She has a good point." Alex said. He always sided with girls more then guys, since he had been raised with his mom winning EVERY argument she ever had with his dad. "Although I still say we find my dad first."

[[Pre-warning: I got REAL bad writer's block.. so....]]
Eri was spaced up until the can's exploded. She let out a scream that echoed for a moment, then she covered her mouth. "..." She had good hearing, so the loud noise was excruciating. She calmed as she realized what it was and sighed. "..." She then heard a zombie screech loudly. She stared at it blankly.
Was it THAT stupid..? Pull the damned thing out idiot..!
She heard the clicks of gunshots with silencers, and when Alex shot the infected and the blood got on her, she reacted as if someone spat on her. "Gross..." She said, wiping herself off and looking at Ada. "Well... There could be more... but all I know is... Mizuki's scent has faded..." She took it as either he died, or he wasn't infected any more.... She looked at Kalila. "..." She smiled softly at her, an apologetic look on her face. She didn't want anyone to be mad at her anymore. She needed to be more grown up. "Um...." She avoided looking at Alex, and it looked as if she was mad at him, but she wasn't. She was embarrassed, and didn't want to go red again. She Nodded at what he said though. "Y..Yeah.. I kinda feel insecure without David around.." She said, sighing. "It would be bad if he's run into something unpleasant...."

[[@Ahiru, Yay, you took my advice! Don't post again, I don't want Kagome fall behind like before sweatdrop @everyone, just a short little post... I'm bored... I figure it's better to have OOC and a post, rather then just OOC...]] Alex was happy that someone agreed with him, however he began to wonder why Eri wasn't even looking at him. She wasn't just not looking at him though, she was avoiding looking at him... maybe it had something to do with what she had said earlier? In any case Alex pushed it into the back of his mind, and turned to listen to what the rest of the group thought about trying to find his dad. Knowing my dad, he's probably trying to, or already found Mizuki... Alex thought, not expressing it however, because he didn't want to get Kalila's hopes up, then have them come crashing down if his dad didn't find mizuki. Heck, knowing my dad, he's probably eating something... Alex thought, trying to cheer himself up... It didn't work, whenever his friends were sad, it rubbed off on him, and right now Kalila was putting out a gloomy aura.

Mizuki's father had never been what you could've called an emotionally open man. He was bitter and he was cranky. Everyday he would seek to toughen his sons skin by throwing insult after insult at him, putting him down all the time. He would teach his son martial arts, and make him train, to 'toughen up that little girl's body'. He would always get so angry and sullen when Mizuki was forced to stop, in fear of overworking himself and testing that pressing heart condition he once suffered from. He'd always been a bit of a sickly child, and Mizuki often felt that his dad hated him for this. Because he couldn't go out and play vigorous sports like the other boys. Because he couldn't excel physically. Then one day, Mizuki had run away from home. He had gotten into a fight coming home from the store one day and had come off worse. Two against one, and Mizuki had dealt a few decent punches, but had inevitably lost. Thinking his father would beat him, even disown him for shaming himself and his father's teachings - Mizuki had not returned home. When the Policeman had found him curled up in the tunnel of a playpark a few blocks away, his upper lip, nose and chin caked with dried blood, covered in bruises, with a swollen left eye - he had returned the boy home. Mizuki had been smothered with affection by his mother - and when his father and marched into the room and told his mother to leave - Mizuki had feared the worse. What he had got however had shocked him and touched him so deeply that it had imprinted in his memory. His father had taken him by the shoulders, much as David was doing now, and shaken him lightly. He had told him how worried he had been, how much he had feared for his son. How proud he was that Mizuki did what he could. And then - he had done something Mizuki couldn't remember him doing since he was very young - he had hugged him.
Almost as if cued by this memory - David pulled him into a hug. Mizuki struggled weakly for a moment, and then went limp. He didn't cry yet, but was fighting very hard to keep the tears that now blurred all his vision at bay. He grit his teeth as his breath got slightly shakey. But as David mentioned Kalila - all foundations came crashing down. That means she's alive! And if David isn't shooting me - it means I didn't hurt any of them! The blood wasn't theirs! And for that moment, Mizuki didn't care who or what it had belonged too. As a great numbing wave of relief came over him, he buried his face into David's shoulder and he sobbed. He cried for himself, he cried for the pitiful situation he had found himself in, he cried for the others in the group and for what they had lost. And with sudden realisation, he found he was crying for his dad. For the rotten life he had had, for the worse death at the hands of his own son. He cried for all those times he had tried to avoid his father when really he should have been cherishing every moment. He gripped a loose hand full of David's shirt at his chest as his whole body shuddered under the weight of his misery. His lips twisted as he attempted to form words. All the filters in Mizuki's mind that normally stopped sentimental drivvle coming from his mouth, filtered out any emotion that threatened to damage his confident and self reliant images, were closed down. Lost beneath the wave of utter relief and grief that he was suddenly feeling. He opened his mouth and spoke what was genuinely on his mind, no holding back, his breath warm against David's shoulder as he wept. "I m-m-miss my daaaad."
A few moments later - just as Mizuki seemed ready to pour out all the sorrows he had been locking away. Just as he seemed ready to allow himself to grieve properly, he pulled back out of Davids arms. He kept his head lowered, and face hidden as he did - almost as if in shame. He turned his back on David and sniffed loudly, hastily clearing away the tears from his face with rough swipes from the heels of his hands. He cleared his throat and let out a watery chuckle. He turned to face David again, his eyes a little pink looking, but otherwise a little better, a smile upon his lips. He slipped one hand into his pocket and stood loosely in an arrogant fashion that was far more like his usual self. "But of course!" He stated haughtily, perking a brow at David. "I'm irresistable!" As if to play on this, he tossed his head majestically, flicking his hair in a parody of some woman off a shampoo commercial. However, as David mentioned Eri, all humour died on Mizuki's face. The air seemed to go noticeably cold and filled immediately with a tension as thick as concrete. A dark look flashed across Mizuki's eyes then - a knowing, disapproving look. He longed so badly to make some wise a** comment like; Yeah, of course she'd like him - for breakfast. Christ - David knew the state that girl was in. How could he take this lying down. But, Mizuki made a concious effort to recover the good humour in the air. He forced a smile that did not reach his eyes and said in a casual voice; "Hell why not. Ladies man. Like his dad, I'd reckon."
When David changed the subject, Mizuki reacted to it eagerly, longing for something to break the terribly tension that had crept in. He looked at David in a blank and ernest expression you might see on a young child that desperately wants in on an adult conversation. He was at first confused, but as he noticed the finger indicating the bag a look of dawning crossed his features. "Oh!" He shifted the bag off of his shoulder and held it up bu the straps, holding it out from himself almost as if offering it up for David's inspection. "This?" When seeing the acknowledgement on David's face, Mizuki opened his fingers, letting the bag fall unbidden to the floor. Dropping to his knees before it, he began to root eagerly through the contents. "When I got lost earlier, and noticed you guys weren't anywhere near by, I needed something to distract myself with. You know, stop me worrying." It was the truth. All of it, but he was being deliberately vague. After the strange happenings of a moment ago, Mizuki would have felt guilty lying to David and chose to avoid it. That didn't mean he wouldn't lie however. If further questions were asked - Mizuki would say that he didn't want to put the others in danger - and elected himself to go in first. To clear the way. He'd say the boards were poorly applied and ready to snap anyway. He'd maybe fein injury? And this would be his story and he woudl stick to it. "Anyway. I passed the clothes dep. and figured I could do with a change. Then I remebered that we all musta stank." He raised his head and shot a cheeky grin at David. "Especially you." He grabbed a leg of the pants he had got for David and pulled them out and pinche the waist of them and held them up to his face as if to study them. "Mighta under estimated your gut size though." He said slyly, that same grin on his features. But rather than being snide and sharp as it would have been early on, it was playful. In truth he reckoned he'd matched David's size really well. If anything the guy would need a belt. He tossed the trousers over to him and continued digging. "If we're gunna face all Hell, we might as well look good right?" He now had his attention fully on the bag as he began to half heartedly wrestle the jumper free. Then his shoulders sagged slightly, and when he spoke again, his voice was calm and collected - but lacked all of the humour of before. It was almost a plea. "Listen, you tell anyone that I broke down - I'll kill you, okay?" He looked up at David with besseching eyes, finally tugging the jumper free and holding it out towards him. Those words, though they may have seemed like a threat, were not in the slightest. Roughly translated from Macho-Man Lingo, it was meant Please don't tell anyone I cried, okay? I'd feel a right a**.

David shook his head yes, when mizuki asked him if he meant the bag. Then Mizuki dropped the bag, and went rummaging through it. David flinched slightly when Mizuki pushed a pair of jeans in front of his face. David grabbed them, saying "Watch it." looking at the jeans. They were actually a size or two too large. This made David feel fat, but he didn't say anything. Then David watched as Mizuki continued to rummage through the bag. David laughed at Mizuki's comment, "Right." He replied, watching mizuki fight something out of the mess. Then he looked as if he gave up. David listened to Mizuki, shaking his head yes, he said, "Deal, as long as you don't tell anyone I said I missed you." David said, understanding why he didn't want anyone to know. David grabbed the shirt, it looked comfy, he couldn't wait to take a shower and change. Unlike Kalila he hadn't cleaned up when they found Ada. Now he was regretting it. When Mizuki stood back up, David held the clothes under his arm, trying to keep them from getting as little blood on them as possible, he looked at Mizuki and said, "Let's go find the rest of the group." He turned back around non-chalantly, walking away, making sure that Mizuki was following. After going a few feet, there was a loud explosion, and the screech of an infected. "Looks like they ran into some trouble." David said, not too terribly worried about them. They could handle themselves. He kept walking, going through a few aisles then he decided to ask Mizuki a question. "Hey Mizuki, I remember Eri saying something about scents... I've been wandering, can you smell the scent of infected or any scents?" He asked, understanding if Mizuki didn't feel comfortable answering. They kept walking, David pondering on a few things, such as How am I going to find a cure without anything to go on or I wonder how my wife is doing? but most importantly to David at the moment was, I wonder what this place has to eat. He grabbed his stomach as it started to rumble. They continued down the aisles, an awkward silence forming, that David DESPERATELY wanted to break, but he couldn't think of anything. As he started to say something, he heard something on the other side of the aisle to their right. He whispered to Mizuki, "Stay here a sec." Then pulling out his uzie, he turned around the corner, and looked down to see if it was any infected. It was the rest of the group. That was easier then I though. He said to himself, noticing that they didn't see him yet. "Hey guys!" He said waving. Ducking when he noticed the guns pointing in his direction. Alex heard a loud sound, spinning on his heels, he pointed his gun towards it, only to find his dad there. Maybe we don't have to look for him Alex thought. After David was sure that the group had pulled their guns down, did David say anything. "Hey... Guys. Check out who I found." David said, pulling Mizuki from the other side of the aisle, into plain view. He couldn't see kalila's expression very well, but he was sure it was priceless. Alex's eyes widened in suprise as his dad pulled Mizuki into view. He looked over to Kalila, but at the current moment, Eri and Nicholas were blocking his view. Currently David's arms were once again on Mizuki's shoulder, but this time Mizuki was facing away from David, and towards the group. He said, in a voice so that only Mizuki could hear him, "Go get her tiger." Taking his arms off of Mizuki's shoulders he backed slightly away.

((I was still late on this post ;_;. Thanks, Funny_Man0, for waiting for me ^_^. Oh God... That sounds amazing Metzli. I'm glad to see you still managed to have your personality during such a time. I would have probably passed out... or been stunned into silence/stupidity. Funny_Man0, your posts are great! You just get what's needed to be done, done. Enough details and to the point. It's fine ^.^!))
Kalila and Nicholas, thankfully, where still facially covered when the explosion of the infected's internal goop came towards them. Kalila quickly tried to dodge as much as she could and Nicholas turned his back to it. Kalila's mask and goggles were covered and Nicholas shot her a cocky little grin. Kalila took off her goggles and mask, wiping them with the already blood-covered skirt portion of her dress. She put the goggles back on, but couldn't bring herself to put them over her eyes. She felt her face needed air. She kept them on her forehead. She felt the same way about her mask, keeping it dangling from her neck. Eri sounded pretty sure there wasn't much else around... I'm good for now. she thought with no enthusiasm. Ada was too far back to get any of the infected's fluids on her and she just side stepped what little bit could reach her. Nikita was even further back so nothing reached him at all. Ada nodded after Eri informed her and looked towards Kalila to see her response. She looked mortified for a second, however her expression quickly changed to a mask of no emotion. The only thing that gave her away was her blinking. Kalila's blinking was slow, dragged out, as if her eyes were open in dream. Nikita also watched this and shook his head in pity.
After that, the siblings' argument commenced and Ada added her input. Kalila had tried to cover up her emotions by being a little more hostile. That was a thing with Kalila. She was such an emotional person, emotion had to come out one way or another. So, if she was covering some emotion up, something other emotion was stressed. The siblings listened to Alex as he spoke up. "Figures..." Nicholas mumbled under his breath. David's bookish intelligence, lack of common sense, and weird sense of wisdom was imprinted into his mind. "Yeah, what I say? Let's go find his dad." Nicholas said calmly, with aplomb. Kalila looked from Alex, to Nicholas, to Eri, to Ada, to Nikita, and then back to Alex. "Fine... Let's go." Kalila said, ending her exhortation. She looked over at Eri again, the young girl giving her an apologetic smile. This caused Kalila to purse her lips and look away from the group. "So... He headed off in this direction...?" she mumbled, her voice having a little bit of that hostile edge. "Let's go... I don't feel safe without David either. He's not just Alex's daddy... He's kind of like... The whole group’s daddy... You know what I mean?" Kalila asked no one in particular. Ada rolled her eyes at the idea, but subconsciously she couldn't help but agree. Nikita didn't much think on it. His father figures always went away one way or another. He rather had not had a father figure. It only ended in disaster for him. "I know what you mean." Nicholas said in a business-like tone for everyone to hear. "But, I'm sure glad I'm not biologically related to him..." He whispered to his sister jokingly, trying to cheer her up a bit. David is a good person, but he had his faults. Nicholas rather not argue with his sister if he had the chance to avoid it. Kalila gave a fake smile back to her younger brother. Even as she had said her earlier opinion, even as she had taken David's promise of not killing Mizuki, unless absolutely necessary, to heart, she still wondered if it was David who had ended Mizuki's life. Did zombie Mizuki attack David in such a way where he absolutely had to kill him...? Kalila thought as she continued her odd blinking. Indeed she emanated the gloominess that was rubbing off on Alex, she just couldn't help it. Nicholas lived in what he thought was the most important path that would keep him most happy. He tried to avoid all bad emotion. He was a bit of a pessimist, but in the logical sense. Thus, he was not affected as much by such things. Kalila, on the other hand, thought about the past and thought emotionally. Even when she knew it was a lurid thing to think about it, it would just make her upset, she couldn't help but ponder on it. When she tried not to think about it, and actually succeeded for a little bit, it never lasted long. If it did, she exploded later. The explosions were catastrophic.
As the group came to a silent consensus to leave, Kalila took about two steps in the direction David had headed off. She was silently accepting the place of leader of the group while Mizuki was gone and David was absent. It was best to have gunners in the back, and it seemed Ada and Nikita agreed because they made no effort to become leader of the group. Suddenly a deep, man's voice seemed to boom from behind them and it definitely was not Nikita's deep yet younger sounding voice. The voice had age. The groups immediate reaction was weapons out, for the noise snuck up behind them. Everyone turned around, which made Kalila in the back of the group again. All guns pointed in the direction: Alex's, Nicholas's, Ada's, and Nikita's. Kalila's katana was held in a defensive stance, since she was caught off guard. Everyone was happy to see it was David. Well... Saves us work. Nicholas thought as he brought his gun down at the same time as the cousins. A smirk spread across his face, as he was thankful it wasn't an infected. We're safe again... Kalila thought, a true smile coming to her features, though it wasn't that emphasized. Ada let out a few curse words and mumbled under her breath for him not to scare them like that, all in Russian. Nikita smiled at the colorful language as he leaned against the metal shelves of the isle.
David spoke in a very casual manner so the siblings were complete caught off guard when Mizuki was pulled into view. Nicholas flinched and at the same time yelled a loud "HOLY SH*T!" and a few seconds later "Dude! I thought you were dead! Man! There were tears and everything... " he said as he laughed hysterically. He told the truth, but only part of the truth. He didn't want him to know about the group thinking/knowing he was infected. He doesn't have to know. I mean... If he was infected, he wouldn't be so okay now... he thought as he observed the young man. He was much cleaner and it just elicited his innocence of being infected, whether it was true or not. Kalila felt an intense lassitude, the beginning stages of fainting. Her heart also murmured for a complete three seconds, her heart beating erratically. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was formed to a perfect 'o' of someone being caught by surprise. Her katana clattered to floor and her first reaction normally would have been to rub her eyes and see if she was hallucinating, but she had heard her brother, though it was hard to over the exaggerated noise of her own heartbeats to her ears. She was blinking very quickly. Verbal nonsense came from her mouth under her breath: something about death, friends, love, parents, zombies, family, seeing things, being alone, and being crazy. She physically fluttered for a little bit. However, Nicholas quick grabbed her by her shoulders and stood her back up. Her brother's expression was set to a Cheshire cat grin. Kalila walked forward one unsteady step, moving towards Mizuki. Nicholas swerved out of the way, planning his physical attack off affection on Mizuki. He silently decided a leap, headlock, and noogie would be perfect. The only clue to his plan given away by a very slight tilt of the corner of his lips. Nicholas bent down, picked up the katana from the floor, and waited to return it to his sister.
Kalila stood a few feet from Mizuki. She felt if she stepped any closer he would disappear and she would realize it was all just a really good illusion or hallucination. Maybe the punctured spray paint spread some unhealthy gases into the air... She observed every inch of him. He had new clothes. His skin was a bit red, but other than that, it was just fine. His hair was also clean. Kalila let a slow smile spread across her features again. However, this time it was larger and fuller. As she did such, her eyes darted to the ground. She felt tears of joy coming on. I'm crying too much. Within a short period of time, I've cried of fear, depression, and now happiness. If this keeps up... I'll break. she thought jokingly and let a light, airy laughter pass her lips. "Glad to have you back..." She said, still smiling. She attempted to pull back the smile, but she was failing miserably.
Ada watched the scene unfold with much confusion. After all, Eri had told them Mizuki was infected. She had known it. She wondered what his issue really was, she wonder how it was possible. But, she couldn’t help but feel happy in behalf of the siblings. She knew how much they cared for the young man. Nikita felt like he was watching the situation from a third person view. He didn’t feel like he was part of the group because he didn’t know Mizuki that well. He had no idea what the group was feeling at the moment and it was frustrating him. This spiked his craving for marijuana. When he was emotionally frustrated about the weirdest things, he came to depend on pot. He hadn’t felt the craving and days and it frustrated him even more to feel it at this type of time.

[[Do me a favor, and don't ever call David a "daddy"... It makes me physically cringe every time I hear that word... or read it...]] David watched with a smile as the entire event unfolded. Watching Kalila closely, he could tell she was physically and mentally releived to see him. She was on the brink of tears, and David really did hope Mizuki hugged her... It would probably push her over the edge. Oh well, David was pondering more important things. He knew that Mizuki was infected. The evidence was extremely clear. First him ramming through the boards, the way he walked off, Eri's comment about his scent... And David was pretty sure that the half digested goop they saw came from Mizuki. He would not express this, because he had to keep to his hippocratical oath as a doctor, which said, "I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know." and even though Mizuki was not his patient he would still honor this. However David would need to study Mizuki closely... Maybe take a blood sample. Thinking about that, he would probably need to take a blood sample from Eri, however this would probably be difficult due to the fact that Ada and Nikita didn't trust him near her.
[[PS. David loves a good argument...Never hold back on a good argument with David. Example, Metzli, you should've had Mizuki say, "Yeah, of course she'd like him - for breakfast." To david... I would've loved to counter that. biggrin ]]

[David can be Mizuki's surrogate daddy :3 ]
Mizuki stood and began to follow David along the isles. For some reason everything felt so surreal. Almost as if he was walking along in a seperate and alien reality. He should have recognised the everyday objects such as shelves and pots of paint. But he didn't. Though on some level he registered what they were, they all felt different and strange. This feeling was not entirely unpleasant. When he had first woken up, everything had been alien to him then. But that had been far worse. He had understood what everything was, which for some reason had heightened his sense of disorientation and that terrible aching feeling of being alone. This feeling now was almost dream like. He felt completely seperate from troubles and purely elated just to be in a familiar persons presence. That completely dive bombed however upon David's next comment. Though there was no apparent change in Mizuki, his heart plummeted and his stomach went cold. He felt some of the new found affection he had for David ebb away slightly as the beginings of paranoia scuttled up his neck and started to nibble in the back of his brain. He was fully aware that David new Eri was infected. So by asking him if he shared the same traits as Eri . . . Mizuki wasn't stupid. He knew what David was trying to get at here. And though he could smell such scents, for now that David explained to him what they were, he could suddenly clearly distinguish them. Like someone switching on a light, or giving the answer to a complicated fraction to make the whole mess make some form of sense. As he breathed in deeply he could pick up on some distant smells which he could now take for Infected. However, he didn't know how to conciously distinguish territorial smells from any others as of yet. He lifted his head and openly sniffed the air, making sure slyly that David would overhear the intakes of breath. He grimaced. "All I can smell is rot and sweat." He grinned slightly. "Must be downwind from you." Then, almost childishly, he added; "Of course Eri can smell infected. She is infected."
As David jumped off round the corner, Mizuki was pleased to find that his hand had already automatically jumped to his gun. His other hand securely gripping the strap of the beach bag. He faltered slightly seeing David's elation. Surely there could be no threat around the corner - or he wouldn't be trying to communicate. He was confused for a moment, his brain for some reason failing to pick up on the obvious answer until he was suddenly yanked out into the middle of an isle. For some bizarre reason he thought there would be men-in-white-coats around that corner. His paranoia stirred up by David's prior question made a vivid mental image of a group of goggled and featureless forms in white biohazard suits stood there with needles and chloroform - David pushing him in their direction. His stomach leaped and he almost went for the trigger before hands closed on his shoulders in a calming manner and he visibly relaxed. Blinking slightly he didn't quite focus on the forms infront of him. However, all was made clear in a rip roaring exclaimation of; 'HOLY s**t!" Mizuki jumped slightly and turned to face Nicholas. The moment he registered him stood there a wide grin consumed the lower half of his face. Washed and clad in clothes that showed off his skinny limbs, Mizuki looked little older than Nicholas - though there was at least five years different. His face was effeminate and youthful, though his eyes and the set of his mouth seemed to give him an air of maturity. His current grin shockingly carefree in the depth of the situation. "Take a lot more than rampaging hoards of the undead to scrub me out guys, you should know that." He grinned, perking an arrogant brow and tipping Nicholas a wink. His eyes then strayed to Kalila, almost as if on reflex. But his grin faltered slightly as he saw what a state she had gotten herself in. He took a step forwards, one hand brought up as if to prop her up across the distance between them. His arm fell limply beside his side as he saw Nicholas prop his sister up, his grin returning to full bloom. His eyes were no longer the dirtied yellow they had been roughly an hour or so before. Now they were clear, if not a little pink and sore from crying. There were, however, tell tale signs of physical exhaustion. The dark shadows beneath his eyes and the way that his lips quivered slightly if he held a smile for too long. He looked over to Nicholas and was already plotting his show of affection to the boy. A slight grin tilted in the corner of his mouth as he came to the mental decision that he would tackle the boy to the floor and flick the tip of his nose until he cried for mercy. His expression became softer however as Kalila began to make her way forwards. Noting how shakey she was looking he gave her her time and space. He did not sweep forwards or envelope her in over enthusiastic greetings as he was planning for her younger brother. As ecstatic as he was to see her, she looked somewhat unstable. As she drew up a short way away from him, he let her speak. When she was done he put his hands on his hips and perked a disaprooving brow, eyeing the distance she had left between them. Then, a grin broke the frown completely as he took a lunging step forwards to close the gap. "Come here, you sissy!" He grinned and wrapped his arms around her in an affectionate embrace. "Glad to have me back? Tch. You should all be ********' over the moon is what you should be." He rested his chin on her head and stroked her back in a comforting manner. He found himself gazing over at Nicholas, as if to check this amount of contact with his sister was approved. However, what he saw on Nicholas's face was a slight smirk. Mizuki's eyes widened. Hang on. . .I know that smile. . .Jesus I hope he doesn't hit me with a plank of wood again! He offered Nicholas a sly and knowing grin, one brow arching in silent questioning. His whole expression seemed to read; I've got you pegged mate, Bring it! Keeping a loose arm around Kalila so that if she wished to step back she could, but would otherwise be held in a hug, he worked the bag off his shoulder with his free hand. Holding the bag to the side he put on a very gay lisp and said; "I've been shopping guuuyyys!" His grin returned. "I figured we all looked like crap, so I decided on a complete fashion make over!" He fluttered his eyelashes at Nicholas over the top of Kalila's head.
