"Jealous?" Leila asked, a flush running over her face, but she felt flattered all the same. "You needn't worry, silly faerie. But you are right. I may be a bit too trusting, but that is simply just my nature." She lifted up his hands to her lips and kissed each of them before nodding. "I shall apologize for you. But we will talk about this later." Leila winked at him before letting go and returning to Liam. "Haucon is sorry for his behaviour. It is not of your doing, I assure you. Would you...still like to come with us?"

He frowned slightly, "How can you be so sure," he murmered very quietly. He wasn't so sure about this whole thing. Even being around them could cause them harm. He began to shake his head quickly. "No I will not harm you," he said backing away slowly. His hands involuntarily began to shake as well and he dropped his scythe. It made a loud clanging sound as it hit the ground, he didn't seem to notice though, he was too busy watching his hands shake. Whenever he got too emotional or nervous these things would happen, but they usually ended up in him hurting people. He seemed to be able to control it as he stopped shaking. He looked at he girl, his eyes were now black instead of gray. He quickly grabbed one of her wrists. "He was right. You shouldn't trust people so easily," his voice was now stronger, taking place for his normally weak voice. He then let her go, and his eyes went back to gray. His face was fear stricken as he backed away and grabbed his scythe before launching into the air hurridly.

Leila's eyes opened in shock at the change of his voice and appearance. She took a step backwards when he let her go, her breath caught in her chest. What happened in a few seconds felt like forever, and by the time she had recovered, he was too high up. "Wait!" she screamed, still shaking. "Wait...let us help you," her voice now a lot weaker, all of her pent-up energy from the adrenaline now completely drained. Her knees shook before she collapsed to the street.

Haucon turned pale as Liam grabbed Leila. He was half-way to her when he let go and launched into the air. She trembled for a moment and fell to the ground. Haucon threw leaned over her to block an attack from above, and help her to her feet at the same time. "You alright?" he asked her, before the panic rose again. He looked into the sky, shouting in fairish* "I hope you're wings don't get tired cause if you ever touch her again..." He caught control of himself, and looked at Leila. "Are you alright?" he asked again, looking closely at the wrist he'd grabbed, "You're not hurt are you?"
((*Fairish- (the language of the Sacred Realm) closely resembles Gaelic. When overcome with emotion Haucon slips into his native tongue as opposed to English. fairish will be translated in italics and quotes...>.< thank you.))

Liam flew higher and further away from the small group. His face drowned in fear. Why?! Why do I have to be this way?! his eyes were moist as if he were about to cry. But he wasn't afraid to cry. He has done so millions of times in the past. He heard the faint yelling of the man. Threatening yells. He frowned even more. Depression was an everyday thing for him, and this was just one of many examples. I wish I could help them but.. with the man after me I don't want to cause him harm either.

"Not physically..." Leila replied weakly, her face averted from his. He was right....I was too trusting and all I got was pain in the end... She had never felt betrayal of her trust before, and it left her simply confused and upset. "It must have been something I said...or did..." she mumbled to herself. "What did I do wrong...?" Her eyes finally snapped to Haucon's face as she repeated her question to him, worry lining her face. "What did I do wrong?!?"

Miu ran over to the demon after she had fallen. "Are you all right?" she asked, then looking up where Liam had flown off, "It's okay, calm down" she said to the fairy.

((OK, i'm going to try and attempt to get the two groups back together, therefore i apologise for the upcoming noobish post sweatdrop ))
Violet slowly began to walk, then broke into a run. Rounding the corner she just caught the flash of wings in the air above her but she was too busy to notice much more then that. Scanning the area she quickly focused on Leila and the others. Her grinning face took on a puzzled exspression as she took in the sight of the angel and Leila sitting on the floor. "What happened to you?" she questioned, keeping a good distance from Miu for the sake of everyone present.

Leila jumped when she heard Violet's voice, but said nothing, keeping her head lowered so that no one could clearly see her face. She felt fooled...manipulated...used...somewhat fitting for what she did to her victims...

Haucon was taking deep breaths, forcing his anger down. He was glad to hear Leila was alright, but something had changed in her. "You didn't do anything wrong..." he managed before the angel butted in. He heard the sarcastic caustic tones of Violet and turned around, surprised. Things were moving just a little too fast for him. He produced a cigarette and lit up, inhaling deeply, being sure to blow the smoke away from the others. He glanced into the sky, Liam still hovered there. He shook his head thinking: He acts so hurt and lonely, maybe the pain he causes is something like Leila. He looked at her, being comforted by Violet and the angel. She can't control her urges, she can just hope to channel them in a better safer way. He sighed again realizing how lucky he was.

Dream followed Violet to the company, and was surprised to see the apparent condition of the others, namely Leila. She seemed alright physically, but he could tell she was in great distress, though he couldn't tell what. He walked up to her, knelt down beside her a few feet away, and looked at her. "You're troubled... What's wrong?" His voice was calm, as if he were talking to someone who needed comforting, which he thought she did.

Leila looked up at Dream before glancing over at Haucon, her expression suggesting that she didn't have the energy to answer and that he should do so for her. Her head lowered again as she covered her face with her hands and sighed heavilly.

Vanessa, now alone, followed the other two. She saw what condition Leila was in, and walked over to her. She needed no explenation to see how Leila felt. "Whatever it is, it's ok." Vanessa said with a warm smile.

Gritting her teeth as she walked forward, closer to the angel then she would have normally, Truth's promise in her head. Crouching down in front of Leila she held out both her hands, her emerald eyes shining with an odd emotion. "Give me your hands, and i promise i'll take all of that bad feeling," she told her softly, her pale hands still outstretched. She didn't know what was wrong with Leila, but for some reason she didn't want to see her like this. If they were touching she could be more selective about the emotion she took, allowing her to take away painful feelings.

Leila's eyes peeked between her fingers. "It would be unfair of me to place such a burden of my emotions onto you, Violet. As strange it may sound and my current appearance, it may be best for me to deal with these new emotions on my own, as part of the growing process..." She had lived with her childish ideal of trust, and look where it left her now. Her thoughts would have to change now and she couldn't rely on everyone the rest of her long life. She suddenly remembered the green cat in her hands, her head shooting up to glance back at the house she had left. She remembered why she was here...her sister. Or brother. Her parents were probably asleep by now, making it a good time to visit. "I need to get back," she whispered to Haucon, holding up the stuffed toy. Her distress was now buried under her current need to see her sibling; she would deal with the earlier emotion later. Standing up, she smiled at Violet and Dream to let them know she was a bit better, for now, and excused herself. "We shall be back shortly..." She hurried into the night, holding on to Haucon's hand.
