At our school, we have about 80 people in our band, and we have SO MANY band-lationships...
There's me (tenor drums/clarinet) and my boyfriend (french horn). Then there's a bass/tenor (drum) + a clarinet. A tenor (drum) + CG. A flute + a baritone. Another flute + a baritone. Two bass clarinets. A flute + a trumpet. A trumpet + CG. A tuba + a pit. And there's probably one or two more I can't think of... The bass/tenor drum and the clarinet at both freshmen and what my boyfriend's mom said was "Too many hormones and not enough brain cells to care." In other words, they make-out and play grab a** ALL THE TIME, no matter what.

I'm crying because we have a rule where band couples must have at least one other person with them at all times, and our band has shrunk in size, so now all the old band couples have either left, graduated, or their significant other graduated/left. So now my boyfriend and I are the ONLY band couple out of the whole band! And it sucks because we're both leaders. That'll be interesting going up for awards... But I still cry. crying

Only one of my relationships have been with someone who wasn't in my band. But now I'm engaged to someone I met in band, so I guess it worked out.

We have...
Me (baritone) + my boy (trumpet) Everyone and their cat THINKS I dated one of our snares, but no.
OTHER trumpet + Flag Girl
Saxophone + Flutie (that flutie just broke up with yet another trumpet)
My guy-friend, a bass-drum + Last year's drum major, though now he's got a gay-crush on one of our snare players, who used to be a trumpet. xd
And last I heard, we have a mellophone + last year's flutie section leader.
Any people who are dating in our band though, usually try to keep it a secret. Our band is a rabid gossip machine of death, so it's usually safer to be quiet about relationships, unless you're feelng impervious to gossip.

Lets see we have...
Bassoon (me) player dating a trombone player Flute player dating a bass clarinet player (who doesn't even play) French horn player dating an alto sax player
Yeah, I think that is it.

There is a lot of band-lationships in our band. last year being a senior I liked the freshmen flutist. he liked me back. We were pretty close. People thought we were in a relationship, but we were just really really close best friends!
We just never really talked about become a couple, but it was sort of a unofficial relationship. lol
But this year I am just helping and hanging around the band so I'm not to sure of the relationships in the band.
