Her honey hued eyes twinkled with amusement. The half elf watched silently from her seat, rougish grin spread across her face. Tossing the apple core into a basket, the bard replaced it with her lyre. Karythelia absentmindedly plucked a few melodious notes. "Looks like things are starting to pick up."

"Ok....what just happened?" He said and then noticed Karythelia sitting in a seat in the tavern. He walked over to her. "Hello. How are you doing today?"

Blinking the daydream out of her eyes, Karythelia looked up at Perrian. "Greetings my good sir," her grin still on her face," I suppose I could say I'm doing amazingly well today but then again..." She twiriled her hands theatrically. "Anyways," she laughed good naturedly," How are you?"

"I'm pretty good, thanks." Perrian said. "My name is Perrian, and you are?" He said as he sat down on a seat at that table.

"Pleasure to meet you Perrian," the bard replied pleasently," I'm Karythelia. Although you are free to come up with imaginative shortenings."

Perrian chuckled. "I'm not too creative right now, so I'll just call you by your full name. Karyt-Karthe-Karyhe-" Perrian couldn't pronounce the name. "Ok, maybe I'll just call you Kar. That name ok?" He said.

Her grinned broadened, "Alright but m'dear but for later reference it's kar-i-theel-ee-a. So Perrian, anything I should know about Miyr before I make a complete a** out of myself?"

Appearing behind Karythelia, he leans in close and whispers in her ear, "It's a hot spot for crazy people." Before bursting into a high pitch maniacal laugh. Whispering in her ear again he quietly says, "Keep an eye out, they're everywhere." Then he pulls up a chair to sit with the two of them.

"Well, I'd probably suggest to challenge a few people to test your strength, unless you're a healer like I. Against most of the people you'll challenge you will probably get defeated unless you're very strong." Perrian said. "Oh, and I'd suggest to not insult Nukunuku because I heard that she attacked Gerbo one day in the cafe."

She raised an eyebrow, eyes impishly aglow," Really then? Guess I'm a new addition to the family. I've always wanted to have siblings." Drumming her nimble fingers on the lyre, Karythelia turned to Perrian. " Test my stregnth, eh? It'll probably hurt like you said," she sighed melodramatically," Unfortunately for me it seems, I'm not a healer. Though you do have a bard and illusionist at your sevice. No parties or weddings though..."

Gerbo sat across at the bar listening in on Perrian's and Karythelia's conversation. Upon hearinf mention of his name he jumped off his stool and trotted over to where Perrian was sitting.
"Now you listen here White Mage... It was not me that insulted her... I merley did a rough mimicization of her, and she went on one of her berzerker rampages... nothing more."
Gerbo then coughed a little to clear his throat.
"It did seem that she has gotten a little stronger though... A single Fireball didn't take her out like it used too."
Gerbo then turned to the lady sitting next to Perrian.
"Have we been introduced yet? I can't recall... But just in case I haven't, I'm Gerbo Tosscobble! Legendary Gnomish Sorcerer Extrodinaire, Head Master of the Order of Magic Preservation, and the original creater of the "Machine Gun Magic" style!"
Gerbo then stuck out his hand, ready to shake with such a big grin on his face, it seemed to make him close his eyes.
"And who are you my half-elven lass?"

Nodding his head in agreement, Talos speaks to both Perrian and Karythelia. "I used to have older and younger siblings. My older brother Bernard died of poison and my younger brother Demetri fell asleep on his hunting knife. It really was a shame to lose both of them so young. Though to be quite honest I hated every fiber of their being. Perhaps you and Perrian could fill the empty void they left on my wall... I mean life, yes life." Talos starts to whistle nonchalantly.

Nearly falling off her chair and the effort off supressing the laughter that welled up inside of her, almost killed her and destroyed her polite demeanor. Luckily being in the court of high strung nobles gave you the ability to hide anything. With a perfect smile and shaking his hand, she answered in her musical voice," Karythelia deVarlen, pleasure to meet your aquaintance Master Gerbo."
Turning back towards Talos, the bard's gold eyes widened. Karythelia unconsiously began playing her lyre, fingers flying gracefully over the keys. The only giveaway when she had her pokerface on.

In a perfect Elven dialect, Gerbo spoke to Karythelia.
"Tis a pleasure to meet you miss deVarlen; May the the trees grant you shade, but never stop the suns brightness from radiating your natural elegance."
Gerbo then smiled and went back to speaking the common tounge.
"I picked up a little Elven on a run through the woodlands in escape of a group of hungry nasty trolls! The woodelves there let us stay with them for a while. Marvalious creatures the elves are! A little too serious for most of my kind though... I do admire there magical capabilities!

"I've always wanted some siblings, too. I've never had a brother or a sister." Perrian said then turned to Gerbo. "Oh, sorry about saying the story wrong. At least I didn't say it the same way the bartender told it to me. He told me that Nukunuku murdered you because you insulted her and you mocked her. Well, that is what the bartender said." Perrian said and chuckled. "But I knew you weren't murdered because you are still alive." He then turned back to Karythelia. "A bard and illusionist, you say? What exactly do you do as a bard and an illusionist?"
