"Sadly, most people do not have the patience to sit down and enjoy a slow game like chess. They would rather spend all their money playing vidioe games that last you up to 5 minutes maximum in arcades, or hours of wasted time at home. Takes no skill." Shikamaru said. Chouji seemed to be the only person who didn't catch onto that fad, and understood his need for relaxaion and silence.

"He was friends with my parents, so we're friends, too. And he takes me out for ramen!" Naruto said, grinning. However, he realized that Sasuke was probably going to ask about his parents. It wasn't that he didn't like talking about his parents; it was just that he didn't like people feeling sorry for him because of it. Mentally sighing, he readied himself for the question.
Kakashi raised an eyebrow at Iruka's hesitation. "Feels fine in here to me..."

When Naruto brought up parents, another question came to mind... but he held it off. He could never talk about parents without getting moody. He never liked his dad very much... and they died when Sasuke just thought he was getting through to his dad. IT was a touchy subject, so he skipped over it. "So... did you ever figure out why Kakashi sensei was in his room?"
"Well than mabye I just am imagineing it." he said, picking up his drink again, finishing the rest of it off. "Mabye I am coming down with something... strep throat causes irritation I've heard." he added, one hand going up to his throat.

Naruto would have been happy at the changed subject, but at the mention of Kakashi his face contorted into an angry scowl. "That pervert was going to do things to him if I didn't stop him! It's a good thing I got there in time!"
"Oh, don't tell me you've got strep..." Kakashi groaned, bringing a hand to his own throat.

"That's true." he said and nodded, then shook his head. "Like I've said before, I'm no match against you when it comes to strategy games. I'm more of a creative person which is why I like cooking so much. That reminds me, what do you want for breakfast and lunch tomorrow?"

Sasuke nodded, and said "Wouldn't suprise me. He seems very... like that. Reads porn right in class, leaving students to do notes on their own. When a fight started, he didn't even break it up. Only told the girl she deserved to be smacked around."
Iruka brought his hand down, shaking his head. "N-no! I am positive I don't! I was just thinking of the possibilities!" he said, pushing some hair back behind his ear. He let out a groan, running a hand through his hair. He didn't know why Kakashi would say it looked good down. It just always bothered him. He reached into his pocket, taking out a hair elastic, and starting to pull his hair up to tie it up again. It always tangled when it was kept down, so he was tieing it up.
"Breakfast and lunch? Hmmm... I really don't know. Usually I have bread and cerial, or whatever the hell the lunch lady puts on my plate in the lunch line. I doubt cerial would be something someone with your talents would stoop to. Suprise me."

"Those are the best things you cold possible say to an aspiring chef!" Chouji said with a grin. "I'll make something so good you'll think you're in heaven. I promise!" I better stop at the grocery store on the way home. I wonder what I should make? Just thinking about the next day was getting him excited.

Shikamaru smilied, picking up another chip. "The food doesn't really matter. The fact you made it for me is good enough for the heaven on earth feeling." he said, eating the chip. "In fact, being with you is good enough for that."

Naruto growled. He didn't even want to think of what he was trying to do to Iruka now. "He's such a good-for-nothing... good-for-nothing," he said, satisfied with his conclusion. "Hey teme, how far is it to you house, now?"
Kakashi was about to stop Iruka from putting his hair up, but a few sneezes stopped him in his tracks. Jeez, what's gotten into me? he thought, disappointed to see that Iruka had put his hair up. Ah well, I'll fix that later, he concluded with a slight grin.

Sasuke than said "Right around this corner..." and pointed to what looked like a road branching to the side, though it had a mailbow at the end, and a sign that said 'Uchiha Manor'. When his parents died... he and his brother got the entire Family household. That included a very large lonely mansion.
Once Iruka had his hair up, he moved over to the pot with the pasta in it, starting to stir it, and picking some up with the spoon to check it. "We have a couple more minutes..." he said, putting the spoon with pasta down, than stirring the sauce. He looked over his shoulder, seeing a grin on Kakashi's face. He let out a small 'Eeep' and turned his attention to focus intendtly on stirring the sauce.

Chouji stared at Shikamaru, a blush creeping across his cheeks. He didn't really mean for that to sound the way it did, did he? He thought and looked down at his hands. Someone like me...can't be his type. Besides, he likes girls...I think. "Do you want to come over for supper?" he blurted without thinking.

Shikamaru had been looking up at the clouds, until Chouji came out and randomly asked for him to come over. He blinked, than slowly turned his head to Chouji. He was... blushing? Why was he so nervous? He had had Shikamaru over for dinner before. Shikamaru just smilied, and said "I have chores to do, take care of the deer. This is a perfect excuse to get out of it. I can just explain to mom you invited me over for dinner. She likes you." he said, adding "So yeah, sure I'll come over."

Naruto's eyes widened. "You live... there?" His uncle owned a decent-sized house, and it seemed like a shack compared to Sasuke's.
Noticing the way Iruka was acting, Kakashi smirked at the opportunity and discreetly walked over. He slowly wrapped his arms around Iruka's waist from behind, leaning towards his ear. "Something wrong?" he murmured.

"Inheritance." Sasuke said, leaving it at that. He had to half drag Naruto along his driveway, since he was not moving very fast on his own. "My family was weathly. Not as good as it seems though. It gets empty and lonely."
Iruka turned red, dropping the spoon and hand's falling to his sides. "W-w-what makes you think that?" he asked, putting his hands over Kakashi's. Whether it was his body wanting to increase contact, or mind telling him to make sure Kakashi kept his hands there... he didn't know.
