Mitsu rose up from the comfy bed having not remembered falling alseep. The information from yesterday however was fresh in her mind and hit her like it hadn't yesterday. "You have no true family," she whispered feeling a pang of sadness in her heart.

"You don't," Touya said entering the room, "but you do have me." It was like he had a sixth sense, knowing just what to say and when to show up. It was almost scary. Mitsu smiled already liking her new big brother. The young trainer sat up, smoothing out her clothing and tied back on her white bandana. "So what now?" she asked curiously in case in he had some plans.

"Nothing," he responded. "I thought you were leaving."

"I am?"

"Well you are now."

The duo stepped outside in the fresh morning sun feeling a light breeze upon her skin. "Where to?" Touya asked.

After a moment of thought Mitsu picked a location. "Lavaridge. I need that badge before I can go challenge Tate and Liza. A promise is a promise after all." She took a quick trip down memory lane as she remember that she vowed not to return to Mossdeep for a gym challenge until she has successful defeated all the other gyms in Hoenn.

"Fine," he said nonchalantly as he released a magnificant orange colored Pokemon. "Dragonite to Lavaridge." The Pokemon gave an affirmative roar allowing Mitsu and Touya on. In mere minutes the trio were air born and flying at extreme speeds.

Needless to say Mitsu was quite happy that she had been wearing her new bandana. It stopped her air from being whipped around her face and become a complete clone of a Tangela as it had been after her first ride on Nitro. Oddly enough they both had the same location. She sighed a bit. The fiery Charizard reminded her of Mike. She pushed the thought out of her head not wanting to think about him.

"So remember not to heal humans unless it's really important. Healing Pokemon should be fine, but try to not to end up all over the news. The last thing you need is Team Rocket or some crazed oragnization to recruit you. And about communicating with your Pokemon. I can't say I know a lot about that, but I do know it won't happen very often so no need to worry about that."

"Done yet?" Mitsu asked. "You act like you don't care then spout off some nonsense. No need to worry over me big bro." Mitsu stuck her tounge out at him. "Nah, nah."

"Who said I cared?" he said trying to regain his composure and quickly prompted on turning away. Mitsu smiled shaking her head slightly. Lavaridge was quickly coming into sight as she eyed the gym in anticipation.

The duo and Dragonite arrived at the outskirts of town in no time. The Dragon Pokemon decended slowing before coming to a complete stop allowing Mitsu to get off. "Thanks for the ride Touya," she said giving him a quick hug before jumping off, careful to keep her skirt from fluttering upwards.

"Hmph," was his reply before he and Dragonite had flown off into the distance. She watched thier figure shrink before it began invisible to the naked eye.

"Hey!" A familiar voice shouted. Or well at least she thought it was. Mitsu turned to face a boy that she hadn't recalled meeting before. "How about a match eh?" he asked looking quite eager. "One on one."

"Sure," Mitsu said not able to turn down a fight. "Come on out Ivy!" Mitsu said throwing the Pokeball into the air. The ever loyal Ivysaur popped out in a flash of brilliant crimson light. "I promise we won't lose again Ivy. I owe you a win after that fight with Norman."

"You bet you do!" he replied in a sort of roar. Ivy was soon met face to face with a Growlite.

"Bring it on," the trainer with the Fire type said.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2007 10:32 am

"So what's your name?" Mitsu asked after commanding Ivy to use a Leech Seed attack.

"The name's Matthew," he replied, "call me Matt if you like."

"Sure."

Ivy leaped backwards launching a handful of seeds out of the flowering bud from his back. A few made contact but most were burnt to a crisp with a well aimed Ember. "Growlite, use your Flame Wheel!" Matthew instructed immediately using his type advantage.

"Protect then retaliate with a Razor Leaf!" Mitsu countered. The green shield rose from the ground and surrounded Ivy as Growlite came crashing into it, fire and all. Ivy loose several leaves aat Growlite catching him on the rebound as the Fire Pokemon tried to land from his collision with the green barrier.

"Flame Wheel again!" he instructed. Growlite's body was soon wrapped in flames as he charge forwards into Ivy's plant like body, burning several spots onto the Grass/Poison Pokemon. "While he's close Giga Drain!" Mitsu said seeing an opening as the flames died down. Ivy lashed out his two olive colored vines and sapped the life out of Growlithe.

While the attack handn't done too much damage it did send a bit of stamina flowing back though his veins. "Good job Ivy! Try a sleep Powder now!" The pink bud on his back released a shimmering blue powder across the field, but Growlithe was wary of it and avoided it completely spitting a few Embers back at Ivy who was once again struck by the firey attack.

Akane washed quickly in the luxurious bathroom. Twinkers tolerated a cleaning too before she started playing with Allegra. Their playful antics had Akane laughing long before her bath was finished.

Clean and in much better spirits than she had been all afternoon, Akane made her way back towards the entrance area, Twinkers and the Kitten Pokemon have what seemed to be a jovial conversation as they trailed behind her. The young trainer followed the sounds of singing and found her way into a kitchen/dining room; the Professor was putting some wieners into a bowl and singing. Badly. Tracey was sitting at the table, a bowl of buns and a wide assortment of condiments covering much of the table’s surface. "Ah, good to see you found your way here, I almost sent Tracey to find you." Professor Oak mercifully stopped singing. "Have a seat, the fries are just about finished.”

"Take Down Growlithe!" Matthew directed. It burst into a full out run aiming his weight at Ivy. "Vine Whip! Trip him Ivy!" Mitsu commanded. The two vines shot out one after another. The Growlithe, even when running full tilt managed to leap over the first vine, but as he landed Ivy skillfully tripped him with the second. The dog like Pokemon tumbled into the ground, his momentum causing himself a bit of damage. "Now Tackle Ivy!"

While he wasn't nearly as fast Ivy managed to ram his weight into the Growlithe's side causing a bit more damage than the Giga Drain had done. Matt winced seeing the combination of attack work to Mitsu's advange. "Growlithe! Flamethrower!" he called out. The Fire Pokemon was happy to oblige as he loosed a pillar of flames from his mouth. "Protect!" Mitsu shouted over the roar of the flames and intensity of the heat it created.

Once again the telltale barrier appeared completely protecting the Pokemon from harm's way. There's no way that Growlithe knows Flamethrower. It has to be a TM move. "Type advantages are no good if you can't score a hit," Mitsu said wagging a finger slightly. "Toxic!" Mitsu said running with her usual plan of a slow and poisonous demise. The toxic haze puffed out of the pink budding flower on Ivy's back.

Growlithe chocked and coughed a bit as it inhaled the poisionous haze. Both trainers could already see the Pokemon's body weakening as the toxins coursed though his body. "No way were ending here!" Matthew shouted. "Flame Wheel!"

Growlithe was once more consumed in flames as he made a mad dash at Ivy. "Dodge it!" Mitsu warned although it was completly unneccessary. The Ivysaur jumped out of the way saving himself from most of the attack. A few flames licked his hind legs, but other than that he wasn't suffering too bad compare to the Growlithe. "Another Flame Wheel!" Matthew shouted, urgency was apparent in his voice.

With a bit of hesitation Growlithe launched itself into another dash at Ivy who quickly raised the green barrier to protect himself. "You're just speeding up your downfall," Mitsu advised, "Causing the toxins to work thier way into the body faster."

Matthew glared at her. "Don't let your ego get to your head," he replied in a low growl that almost mimicked his Growlithe's. Mitsu shrugged. Perhaps she was acting high and mighty, but in reality she was merely offering up some advice.

"Awright!" Mag exclaimed. "Nice surfing Shining!" Mag said smiling broadly at her amazing exploits. "Your Staryu is really tough." But now things were turning for the worse for her seeing that a fresh enemy was about. Goldeen caming blazing out of the water as her sharp horn and body came crashing into
Shining. Unfortunately that was a bit too much for the Eevee who collapsed on the platform.

"Ah well. She lasted as long as I hoped. Good job girl!" Mag stated recalling his fallen friend. "How about we move on to the heavy weight class?" Mag said as he sent out his ever faithful companion Sunfire. "Let's begin with Wish." Whatever you say boss. Sunfire said to his trainer as his eyes shone orange and sparkles emitted from his body showing that the deed was done.

"Linalee is the name. Stalkings my game." She said. "Not really though. I've just been searching for one of my old childhood friends to catch up on what I missed." Linalee said making sure that the others noted her sarcasm and jokingness. "What brings you out here." she directed at Dante and Meowth.

"Hello there!" Linalee then said noting the new person who also was apparently up at 3:30 AM. This was really a strange night.

The Toxic was certainly taking a toll on the poor Growlithe now. It's legs shook as he tried to keep himself upright. "Flamethrower Growlithe!" Matthew shouted. Unable to control his flames the Growlithe shot the stream of fire recklessly around Ivy.

Ivy, whom was unable to use Protect in such a fast succesion, could do nothing but be licked by the red-orange flames. While he too sustained plenty of damage there was no way he'd lose again. Growlithe continued to recklessly fire his Flamethrower around the Seed Pokemon. The Ivysuar was soon surrounded by a circle of raging flames with no way out.

Matthew gave a nervous laugh. While he hadn't intended for Growlithe to create the ring of fire it seemed to be working for him. Another fire advantage to add to his side. "Ok Growlithe! Another Flamethrower!" Matthew commanded. The Fire Pokemon was now knealing, desperately fighting off the poison that ran quick through his veins. After a moment or two he loosed another Flamethrower into the pit of fire that surrounded Ivy.

The flames were increased by the already existing fire ring as they ripped thier way through. Ivy managed to jump away from the attack, but in the process ran into the walls of fire. Another scorch mork was left on his side as he retreated back to the center wincing a bit. The ring continued to shrink due to the added fire. Ivy was confined to a small space now, any movement could cause a burn or a scorch mark.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2007 7:00 pm

"Not good," Mitsu muttered taking in the situation. The ring of fire was so high she couldn't even she Ivy in there. Her glance turned to the weakening Growlithe who seemed to be resisting with all his might to not faint. Another attack from either party would surely mark it's end. "Ivy!" Mitsu called, "Do you think you can survive another attack?"

"It'll hurt, but you bet I can!" was his reply although the only thing that Mitsu and Matthew had heard was "Sar! Ivysuar!" over the roaring flames. Mitsu brushed the the top of her forehead a bit. The intense heat the fire ring created didn't help cool down the already hot and humid weather of Lavaridge. She looked at Matthew who was silently hoping that the waiting game would play out in his favor. "All right Ivy!" Mitsu shouted, "Tackle! Run through the flames! Follow the sound of my voice!"

Ivy nodded and unseen nod before running out of the ring of fire now a few feet away from the weakened Growlithe. His body was caught on fire, a burn status had been inflicted. The manuever had taken out much more damage than Mitsu had hoped. "Let's finish it with a Tackle!" Mitsu instructed seeing Ivy give her a nod of approval. He dashed forwards, fire and all, and rammed his body against Growlithe's figure.

With a whimper the Fire Pokemon was out of comission and returned into his Pokeball. "Good match," Matthew commeted, "Maybe I'll see ya around." And with that he turned tail and ran.

"Hi! My name's Train!" Train said, grinning. She laughed at Linalee's joke, and her Pikachu hopped onto Train's shoulder. Train looked at Dante. "What's your name?" She asked, and then added, "And why're you up this late? I'm up right now 'cause I was just couldn't sleep. To much energy!" Train hopped a little.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2007 7:06 pm

"I happen to be awake for pretty much the same reason as you. Mine is more insomnia instead of excess energy though." Linalee said good naturedly. "That is an uber cute Pikachu you have there!" Linalee said noticing the pokemon on her shoulder. "I've always wanted to see one or maybe even catch one of my own one day."

"Insomnia...?" Train asked blankly, then she heard Linalee complement her Pikachu. "Thanks! I got him just a few days ago. My only other pokemon is a Ratata, though." Train laughed somewhat.

Train's Pikachu sniffed Linalee, then saw her Slugma. It hopped down to sniff the strange pokemon.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 10, 2007 7:19 pm

"Insomnia, basically when you can't sleep no matter how hard you try, ya know." Linalee stated. "Well Rattata have always been a fiesty pokemon in my experience. They may not be the cutest but they are really neat none the less."

Cagomarg also looked at the Pikachu incredulously. But deciding now was a good time play a joke she jumped upon it enveloping the pokemon in a warm blanket of sorts. "Slu!" she shouted giggling to herself at the fun as she slipped off of the yellow toy.

"True." Train said, tossing Ratata's pokeball up once, catching it, and clipping it back onto her belt. She looked up at the stars and then back at Linalee.

"Pika!" Pikachu cried as the Slugma enveloped it. It was a little afraid, and when the Slugma slipped off Pikachu hid behind Train.
