"Yea ... ya gotta get outa my hoodie first though." He shifted and stretched as much as he could with Kaleb on him like that.

Kaleb nodded, and then tried to wiggle out of Riley's sweater. It was harder than he would have figured, and he almost got hopelessly tangled up in his own oversized hoodie before he worked his way out.

He laughed as Kaleb wriggled out of his hoodle. "Harder ta get out than ya thought huh?"

Kaleb nodded, looking very mussed and rumpled with his hair all tousled and the baggy sweater hanging off one shoulder. He shivered a bit as he tried to fix the mess he had made of himself. The air was pretty cold compared to the warmth inside Riley's hoodie.

With Kaleb off him he stretched properly before getting up. "Alright .. it's cold out here." He stood up, picking Kaleb up too, and drug him back inside where it was warm.

Kaleb didn't even squeak this time, he was starting to get used to being scooped up and carried around. Once he got back to his book, he was able to focus enough to give Riley some peace for a couple hours.

Even though he had been sitting around all day, the periodic restless squirming and fidgeting had wasted enough energy to leave Kaleb tired by the time they had finished dinner and watched a bit more TV. He was yawning at around the same time as the night before, and once again he was trying to hide it.

"Bedtime huh?" he looked over at Kaleb as he flipped though channels on the tv. There wasn't a whole lot that was interesting on tv that night so he hadn't gotten hooked on anything yet.

Kaleb nodded a little. He had hoped Riley wouldn't find out he was starting to get sleepy, but he wasn't going to try and fool him tonight. "I-it's felt like a really long day..." the little mage said by way of explanation.

"Probably cause ya were stuck at my place ... sorry about that." Kaleb probably would have had more fun if he'd been at home where he could do what he wanted rather than stuck at his place.

Kaleb shook his head quickly. "N-no! That's not it, I-I like being here." His nervous fidgeting was worse when he was tired. "I-it's j-just not being able to get around on my own, th-that's all."

Kaleb fussed a bit. "Th-that's still not what I mean, I have to bother you every time I want to get somewhere or need something, a-and I don't like bothering you."

Kaleb glanced down at his hands. "I-I'm glad I'm not a bother..." he said quietly. The healer felt tired and more emotional than he should have been, and he couldn't figure out why. Maybe he was simply overtired.

He turned off the tv and got up as he was setting the remote down on the table. "Come on ... we'll go ta bed." He didn't want Kaleb sitting around fidgeting while he was tired.
