Sam laughs and hits another disk with her knife.
"Thanks a lot, Zaan...What the heck, send more, Kenji."
Sam stood up fully and got ready for what was coming.

Kenji smiled as he readied himself for the next round. He sent a disk in the middle of the two, seemingly a miss. When it passed them by, the disc grew and burst, sending miniature discs floating at the two from behind. He then proceeded to shoot more at them from his perch, smirking.
"Heads up!"

Zaan summoned his Dark Aura and accepted the blows from the miniature discs, letting his magick negate Kenji's. With a grimace, he says "Sometimes, you gotta take a blow to get somewhere." He ducks a few discs, and catches a few on his dagger before throwing them at Kenji, being careful not to hit his machine. "Back at ya!"

Kenji smirked, firing more disks at Zaan before leaping out of the machine turret and ricocheting a few of the discs back at the two using the flat of his sword.
(Oy, Legend of Zelda anyone?)

Zaan summons his Servant, who grabs some of the discs out of thin air and throws them away. Zaan catches a few more discs on his blade and returns them with a "Hah!"
(Haha...guess what that leaves you to return with)

Kenji obliterates the discs with fireballs until there is one left, which he then sends back with his sword.

Zaan's Servant catches the discs before tossing it back at Kenji. Zaan himself crouches low, ready to return the next volley.

"Urragh!" Kenji yells as he throws a large rock, rebounding the disc and adding a larger target into the mix.

Zaan leaps sideways, avoiding the rock. Unfortunately, he loses track of the magic disc in the process. He finds it again as it slams into him from behind. He grunts as it does its damage, then smiles as he feels his Dark Aura dissipate the disc. "Score one for you Kenji. How bout we use my magic now?" He conjures a fireball and begins to idly spiral it up and down his arm while he waits for a response.

Kenji balks at the fireball, but readies himself by preparing an ice breath spell.
Watching the fire intently, he begins his chant.

During this whole show, Sam backed away and leaned up against the wall. Occasionally pressing herself as close to the wall as she could when a disk went zooming past her. She quickly signaled to Kenji and Zaan that she was going to go back into the wagon. She sped across the room where she found the door, opened it as fast as she could, and left just as quickly; closing it behind her fast as lightning. She sighed deeply and sat down on her bed.

Zaan tosses the fireball at Kenji and then quickly raises his Dark Aura, preparing for the counterattack.

Kenji breathes frost upon the flame, yet it still passes right through it, unscathed by the magick. Kenji makes a last minute duck and escapes with minor burns on his arms. He throws a glob of congealed ice in counterattack, yelling.

Zaan ducks under the ice, and it flies toward a wall. Zaan retaliates by summoning tendrils of shadow and siccing them on Kenji. The ice hits the wall and shatters, flying back at Zaan. Having learned his lesson, he jumps straight up, but a piece still manages to pierce his foot. "Mmmph!" He grunts in surprise. Landing with a small "thud," he grabs a hold of the ice and yanks it out, watching his blood flow. "Blast." He concentrates for a moment and the wound heals. "Much better."

Kenji retaliated by ducking through the tendrils and attacking Zaan with a jump-kick. Missing it as Zaan went to recover, Kenji stood, the hair on his neck standing straight up.
"Kakashi!" he yells, crashing int o the wagon.
An arrow with black-feathered fletching is lodged in Kakashi's back, and his blood slowly pools around him. He stares up at Kenji with lifeless eyes, already glazing over as his soul escapes through the wound.
Kenji looked on in horror at the scene.
