Chocolate brown eyes beamed with excitement at the thought of otoro sushi. The Host Club often times would use otoro itself just as bait to get her to do their bidding. Though often times she never had any. Even if it was presented to her, someone would always manage to finish them before she even got the chance so much as to touch the plate. Those jokes were cruel and highly unusual of the Host Club. At those thoughts, Haruhi fumed with anger, their trickery this time won't work on her. She had a bowl of it right in front of her now, and despite whatever objects may come she will refuse to listen to them and eat her sushi in peace.
Taking a moment for herself, Haruhi took in a breath to calm her senses. She smiled at Altair first for kindness than in gratefulness. The kitsu's tails swung about freely, her excitement obviously showing. She dipped her head low in a bow, thanking not only Altair but the powers above who finally allowed her to bathe in this small moment of luxury.
"Thank you very much, Altair," she said sincerely. "Itadakimas!" She bowed once more before bending down to pick up a piece of sushi in her mouth. Not only was there one, but four pieces of otoro sushi. As the tuna's flavor slowly melted into her mouth, her eyes seemed to sparkle with the same sparkle Altair had on his fur. She lifted up a paw, placing it on her cheek as if it would somehow enhance the flavor some more. At first she couldn't even imagine she wasn't dreaming. One of her dreams finally came true. Perhaps this place really was as mysterious as she first thought out it was.

Raistlin nodded, his ears twitching at the various sounds around them. He knew full well how difficult it could be to obtain, even to see, certain treasures. Caramon's have always been easier to locate, swords laying around after a battle wernt hard to spot. Their last treasure hunt had brought them face to face with a power-hungry dragon in human form. Even in human form, dragons were still formidable foes. They were also brought dangerously close to their volitile and ambitous sister, altho they were unaware of the encounter. At the memory of almost losing his staff, he glanced at it, even though it was still in his grasp. "The treasures that are easiest to find, are seldom treasures at all, but a burden in the end" He said with a wry smile.
Caramon's through process, didnt take him anywhere /near/ that memory. The young mage shook his head with a light sigh "No, the tomb's of Magius, what few there are remaining, are generally stored in boxes in basements. Thus is the fate of the great war wizard that served with Huma. After the seperation of wizards and knights, the knights denied Magus ever being near Huma, during the dragon-war. The common folk believed the noble and honorable knights" There was obvious sarcasm and venom dripping from his words, as he said 'noble and honorable knights'. Caramon gave Raistlin a look, then added softly "Raist, our Sturm wants to be a knight....." Raistlin, snorted in response "Do you really think he's going to try to turn the knighthood around? To once more accept wizards in their ranks?" he asked, his eyes narrowing at his brother. Caramon shifted "well....you never know" he said softly. Raistlin shook his head "no brother, Sturm will not stand up for wizards. He distrusts me as much as the rest of the knights do." Another sly grin found its way upon his maw "and with good reason" he added under his breath with a chuckle.

"Your welcome. I'll make you some more later if you want. It's fun to make them." His tails almost braided them selfs in the yummyness. "Thanks for chosseing Otoro sushi."

"Hai, Mokona is our little transporter. He used to live with the dimensional witch, so I'm sure he's seen a lot of rare things." Fai smirked as he thought of the little manjuu; he did miss him at his side. Fai could sense two familiar auras coming their way. "Hyuu! It seems my travel buddies are back from their little trip. Would you like to meet them Crowley?" Fai wasn't sure just how social the fellow kitsu was.

Rainberries ((*huggles* pretty much! xd ))Alison blushed. Thankfully her blue butterfly mask covered part of it. "Thanks. You always did know how to compliment a lady." And without her feeling like you might have ulterior motives too. "I've been a little, well, maybe careless around here lately. There's a lot of kitsu with powers!" Her voice rose from the excitement behind it as Dazzler clapped her forepaws together. "I just..." She tilted her head with girlish sheepishness in a quick bob to the right, then back up again. "... don't mention the whole "m" thing, you know. Let'em believe the lights come from the radio or some magic."
Speaking of magic her eyes danced. "Didja know there's wizards around here? I met a family with three of them! Totally groovy the things they could do with a wave of their wands!" Spidey blushed, face darkening from red to...red. "Aw, I speak only truth... unless I'm joking. And you know I wasn't joking, except when I was." Haw haw. Aw, shucks...t'warnt nuthin'. Great comeback, Spidey!
"Oh! Yes, of course. I wouldn't dream of divulging your...mm...recipe secret," he beamed. "As to magic and wizards... yes! There all varieties of abilities around here, and it's mind-boggling! Fascinating too," he giggled a little, scientific mind clinking away merrily.

The songstress raised a brow at what seemed to be a flustered Spidey, though she could not see the blush. "Oh wow. Don't tell me I've succeeded in making you off balance." Her grin was almost mischievous for her.
"I appreciate that, Spidey." About not mentioning she was a mutant. Her blue eyes sparkled gratefully, impressed as always with the wall-crawler's quick wit & mind. "I know what you mean about the abilities though! I've made friends with a Firebender! I didn't know there was such a thing! It's far out!"

Her eyes flickered with interest at his words. Perhaps he didn't get the full meaning of her words at first. "The most valuable ones are usually the ones closest to you that you seldom see them as a treasure in the first place," her eyes flashed over to Caramon briefly, indicating he was probably one of the most valuable treasures Raistlin could ever have even if the mage would sooner die than admit so.
Returning her eyes back upon the frail kitsu, she didn't at the least find it surprising the distrust that went on in his world. That was how human nature was and always will be. Always fickle and ever selfish. "In this world wizards, knights and kitsus of all kind are accepted just the same. Though some may be awed at the power they possess, perhaps even to the point of jealousy most everyone accepts one another with open arms. The same fate will be placed upon you as anywhere else in this realm; you, too, will be accepted with open arms by all. In fact, some may even be more amazed at your power than anything else. But I assure you; you are welcomed here and no harm will come to you without good reason."
Her ear flickered a bit picking up the little bits of his mumbled sentence, "Do what you wish, but do not cause trouble for this realm. Those actions will be unforgivable, some may shun you for it at the very least; at the very worst some may seek to kick you out by any means," she warned him in a firm tone of voice.
This world was a peaceful place, and she wanted it to remain as such sincerely with her heat. Even though the mage and his brother seemed to harbor no ill-will towards this place, she wanted to spell it out for them clearly trouble will not be looked upon kindly.
--
Haruhi smiled warmly at the kitsu, dipping her head once again for another informal bow. "No, Altair-san, thank you for helping me achieve one of my long time dreams," she replied delightfully. Her tails brushed against the floor with excitement, and her eyes beamed even more as she stared at her remaining three pieces of otoro sushi. Needless to say she was more than grateful to Altair for allowing her such a high honor of eating luxury foods she normally couldn't afford on a normal basis.
"If there's anything that you'd like to eat just tell me and I'll do my best to make it for you. After all it's the least I could do for you." She felt the need to add this on, "And when I go back," IF I go back "When I go back and if you're ever around my area, just call me up and I'll take you out to some great places."

"No no thank you for letting me make it for you." He laughed at buit and hoped the no you thing would end soon. "Oh you don't have to!" He smiled. "sounds like a plan. If you want I can try and take you back to where you live."

"Off-balance? Me?" Spidey fluffed up, rising an inch or two on his toes in mock bravado. "My dear, spiders never lose their balance." He did not reply to what she said next, not with words. It was a welcome change of subject, so he nodded, smile coming to his face easily. "Fire...bender? Bending fire? How would someone go about doing that? It seems improbable, impossible... hey, he's not a magician is he?" he joked, elbowing her. In all honestly, he was intrigued, curiosity going off like psychedelic spider-sense.

Shaking her head with a smile, she answered cheerfully, "It's alright, Altair-san. Even though I'm sure everyone misses me and vice-versa...But I think this place is a great new place for me. It's different, I'll give it that...I don't know how to explain it," she chuckled lightly. "It's like...It's like a breath of fresh air, I guess you could say." She sat there in silent thought for a moment, reflecting on her experiences in this place so far. This place was so refreshing from the daily life she lived back home. It's almost as if for the second time [the first being the Host club] she cared more about other things than just the daily life ritual.
"It's like a vacation, almost," she nodded.

Raistlin meerely quirked a brow. He knew right well what she ment by her treasure comment, even though it was lost on his brother. It was true, he would die before ever admitting his brother was important to him. "I'm well aware this realm is unlike the one we came from, if it was anything like our homeland, we would've been attacked already" he said with a flick of his tails, his ears swivling, following a bird through the woods behind them.
His eyes narrowed, as she gave her stern warning. He didnt take kindly to it, but he knew it would be best for him to swallow a nasty comment that was tempted to escape his lips. "Sturm doesnt trust me, because i had no desire for him to do so" He said thickly, his tone made it clear the warning was not necessary, despite his comment. "He looks at me the same all knights of my world do, with distrust." he shrugged, his temper subsiding slowly "He also had no sense of humour, and didnt trust me not to play a little trick on him from time to time" A sly smirk crossed his maw.
Caramon chuckled "you did play a few tricks on him" he said with a shake of his head, still laughing.

The intensity of her eyes subsided as he took to her warning. Her body relaxed a little bit more, leaning further onto her sword as she hung in the air. At the very least she was glad he heeded to her warning, and she was even more grateful he didn't counter her actions prior to this somehow.
"Most of the inhabitants around here are quick to trust in others. They will most likely trust in you long before you return the favor. And so as long as your 'jokes' aren't as cruel as I think they may be, they will shrug it off. And perhaps even laugh with you. The kitsus here are...different. They will be kind to you and your brother, too." She said assuringly. This world was different, in fact. It is not driven by war and times of peace looked promising. And perhaps it is the times of peace that has changed the kitsus here from grudge bearing to easy trusting.
"As you can tell, this world is not driven by war. There are very few warriors, and probably even fewer wizards and magic using kind around here. But none the less, most everyone will try to befriend you sincerely. If you choose to stay, you, too, can enjoy these golden times of peace." However long or short they may be She whispered under her breath.
[With that I'm off to bed. G'night! <3]

Dazzler had to snicker at Spidey's display. It really warmed her heart to be around someone so familiar. "Maybe a kind of magic... he said he uses his chi." The female's look of not quite getting that concept yet was evident. "So, not magic like the wizards I met, or like the Enchantress -remember at the Uno? just before you guys helped me audition for Harry Osgood?- but maybe magic of some type. Magic more than science I'd wager."
"He said chi's the energy in us... I guess I just don't get it." She laughed.

(( Okay, that'd be great! biggrin Or even a summary... x3 ))
Spidey nodded as he listened. He certainly did not understand all of that, but he was absorbing all of it, hoping to understand much more later on. "Let's see, I understand something about chi... it has to do with martial arts. So it's a focus, concentration. But... bending fire? Like bending spoons maybe?" He chuckled a little, not really laughing at this supposed magic, but more out of embarrassment and a little nervousness. All he could do was speculate. "Think of it as a m-- eh... magical power that everyone supposedly has hidden within...sometimes very deeply within..."

((I'll sum up, & add a couple of scans if PB ever decides to load them. *grins* Le'see... Not sure how Daz met Spidey, as I've not seen ASM 203, but in Daz 1 he helps her out with some thugs sent by her former employer trying to "persuade" her to work for peanuts. Not long after, Beast (with the Avengers at the time) shows her the Uno Disco's open audition add. She beats out the Asgardian goddess, Entrantress, royally pissing her off. Spidey, the Avengers, the FF & the X-men all incognito come to the Uno's Grand Opening to see Daz perform. Of course, 'chanty shows up trying to take over the universe (rift on the stage... you really don't wanna know that part). She ages Daz, who manages to shoot light at the disco ball & knock 'chanty out long enough for the spell to stop. Then the heroes all get together to kick demon booty when 'chanty summons them. She thinks her career is over but then someone in the audience gives her Harry's card & the avengers take everyone in there jet to get her to meet the guy. much funfun. *edit: Enchantress Departs Dejected to Elated (Dazzler #2)*))"Yeah." Like I told him, I kinda get it in theory... but the practical I don't get at all." Laughing at herself she grinned. "It wasn't really "bending" ... at least not what he's shown me. More like... he creates the fire from his chi like I create light from sound."
"Except he had to make a motion, unless that was fro my benefit. Come to think of it... the movement was kinda like when those groups of people practice Tae Chi down in Central Park." Daz had a thoughtful look on her face as she tilted her head to the side. "Do you think they're connected? I mean, the chi seems like a dead give away."
