My Titanium Fallen from the costume contest has arrived, thanks a ton RH, and I have to say, you can really feel the difference in the engineering. He's my first Titanium, and if he's a typical example then those who aren't used to other lines of figures than Transformers might be a little turned off by them. But I dig him. mrgreen

While I was renewing my Transformer Club membership I also order the Razorclaw/Elita-1 set. They arived the other day.
Elita-1 is just a pink Cromia, a new head would have been nice, but as she is, I'm not sure if she was entirely worth getting.
Razorclaw is a repaint of Leobreaker but he does have a new head. His colors are nice and you definitely have the feel that it's the G1 Razorclaw. I don't know if he entirely makes up for his partner toy but he was worth getting.

Found ROTF Long Haul! Saw ROTF Devestator at my local Walmart yesterday. It was priced at $98.99. I was like, "HELL NO!" I'll wait. As for the TFCC Elita-1 and Razorclaw, I actually like both figures. I also want to get Banzai-tron, but I'm not to crazy about Skyquake.

I went to Wal-Mart last night and picked up ROTF Stratosphere, Jolt, Blazemaster and Mudflap/Skids (Ice cream truck). I think the twins are my favorite out of the 4 figures.

I got the Target Exclusive Bruticus! It wasn't on the shelf, but Target.com said my local store had it in stock. I wrote down the info:
DPCI: 087-06-0146 ASIN: B001NHRD1I Catalog #: 11107576
I asked for assistance in the toy dept and they brought one out for me! xd

HOLY PRIMUS! eek
Finally got to open my Movie Leader Prime and Jetfire today.
TOTALLY worth the wait. If you have any way of picking these two up, do so without hesitation. Either of these guys alone is a fantastic figure, and the combining adds a metric crap-ton of pure EPIC.
Prime totally overwhelms any craving I once had for Masterpiece Prime. He is THAT awesome.
Jetfire is our lovable cranky old curmudgeon robot that turns into a FLIPPING SWEET Blackbird. The "sea of panels" you may have heard described isn't that bad, they fit together really intuitively and the engine sections when locked in place force the major panels to line up nice and tight. From below he is a pile of robot parts, but the top is so beautiful you will forgive him.
Combined, the word "majestic" comes to mind. The rifle made out of a folded Jetfire panel looks like Prime shoved his fist into the back of the A-team van and used the power of PURE AWESOME to transform it into a laser cannon. The fan-made alternate method of connecting the feet definitely looks better, and adds just enough leg flexibility. (Basically, you point Jetfire's upper leg "engines" straight down as heels and pull his toes forward, then open Prime's feet, turn them backward, and use the one connector there instead of sandwiching both connectors inside the foot.)

Movie Dirge . . . very satisfying.
the combination of Jetfire and Prime is indeed lovely, though posability kinda lacks. Still, very imposing and quite nice! 3nodding
EDIT: A foraging trip garnered a nice little gem: Voyager Bayformer Bludgeon. Replete with a longsword and short blade, his skull/skeletal motief is quite nice and thorough. Highly recommended.

Got the "Human Alliance" Skids-Arcee-Mikaela set.
First, Arcee. The design is insulting as a Deluxe toy, but at this size it kinda works. She actually could have been made slightly smaller, because as it is she looks a little big for a motorcycle with the Mikaela figure. The face sculpt is surprisingly detailed at this scale and is what brings it all together. The arms are way awkward, but again it's excusable at this scale. The legs... are the front end of a motorcycle. But we knew that already.
Her transformation will likely infuriate you the first time around. Everything pegs together beautifully, but making it all come together at the same time is a little tricky, and I had some QC issues that required the shaving of some mold flash from the connecting bits.
The Mikaela figure looks nothing like Megan Fox. That is neither a plus nor a minus in my eyes, as I don't really care either way. There's an impressive amount of articulation for a figure that can't be more than 2.5 inches. There's bi-axis joints in the shoulders, hips, and knees (for that Riverdance action, I guess?), and rotation in the hips and neck. The neck joint, however, is severely limited by the plug hole in her back to secure her to Skids' seats. If the hair wasn't slightly flexible, the head would be immobile. There's also a plug hole in each heel.
Skids is the main event, and is awesome. He's got nearly Alternators-level engineering, and is loaded with gimmicks. The doll can sit in either seat of the car, can sit in the seat on his forearm behind a missile launcher and hold some sort of control yoke, can stand on a platform behind his back at the controls of a mini-gatling, and stand on either of his hands. Not only that, but if you push down on a bit at the top of his head, his mouth moves.
He's got fantastic articulation, but for some reason he's got some kind of heavy-duty ratchet joints on his shoulders. Weird. His transformation is Alternators crazy, and will punish you for getting anything even slightly out of alignment. But if you've handled the ice cream truck Twins, things will seem a little familiar in places.
As for the "Human Alliance" concept itself, this is one figure where it works. Skids is inept enough to actually benefit from a human partner's aim. But it ends up being really fun. Any of you kids remember "Dino Riders"? It's that kind of awesome in a can.
