Tai looked at his clones with dissapointment. He then looked back at his sensei who said "This almost always happens so don't worry. Students usually have trouble ballencing their traits evenly. Just give it another try and try to disperse their traits evenly." Tai nodded and dispelled the other clones. He then tried again and when the smoke cleared three perfect clones appeared next to him. "Well done, now on to the next part of your training" said the sensei. Tai smiled as he dispelled the clones. Eager to to learn a new skill Tai said "So whats next for me to learn?"

"The next technique you are required to learn in order to graduate is the art of substitution. This will probably be the most difficult skill you will learn in the academy. Basically it involves you switching your body with an inanimate object, usually a log, so that if the enemy attacks you, the dummy substitution will take the hit and not you. This technique uses the bushin no jutsu because you must disguise the object with your clone. This skill is not only a defensive technique but an offensive one too. When the enemy attacks the substitution, they become vulnurable to a counter attack" the sensei said in a serious tone.

"This is where the training gets serious. I will give you five seconds to perform the substitution. When those 5 seconds are up i will throw a shuriken at you. If you successfully perform the jutsu, then you are in no danger. This method helps ninja tap into their instincts in the dangerous situation. I will not aim for any vital parts of you body, but be warned: I will not hesitate once the 5 seconds are up. Of coarse i wouldn't let you try it without seeing how it is done. I'll demonstrate the technique now." He said with a smile.

Tai was alarmed at the training method his sensei had just told him. "Now i'm going to perform the jutstu myself. Pay close attention to my hand seals." Tai nodded and paid close attention to the seals he was about to perform. The sensei took a deep breath and began making seals. Then he gave Tai a serious look and said "OK Tai. I want you to throw a shuriken at me." Tai stared at him in disbeleif. "WHAT!?!" Tai exclaimed. "Don't worry, just do it" Tai reluctantly threw a kunai knife at his sensei. The kunai peiced his shoulder and with a cloud of smoke he turned into a log.

Sero walked in and sat down and waited for the teaher to come in."I wonder what he or she will be like?"The door opened and in came Sero's teacher.He thought to himself."Well..looks like she is a female.Wonder what I am going to learn from her.."She looked right at Sero sticking her hand out waiting for Sero to shake."Guess she wants me to shake her hand...Sero shaked the teacher's hand. "My name is Shikai Naragunta."Sero nodded."I am Sero Aburame."She made a puzzeling look on her face."An Aburame..eh?This might be difficult.Sero made the same look at her."Don't worry I am good."

Tai looked around and saw his sensei on a near by tree. He jumped down and said "Now that you've seen how its done you know what to do. Now its your turn. You remember the order of the seals right?" Tai nodded and his sensei said "I'm going to start the countdown.....NOW!" Tai began to panic as he made the seals, counting down the seconds. "3...2...1.." his sensei threw the kunai just as Tai finished the last seal. The kunai struck Tai in the shoulder and he suddenly turned into a log. His sensei gave a sigh of releif hoping he had done the jutsu correctly. He turned around to see Tai behind him with a smile on his face "Great! Now on tho the next part of training."

"For the next technique we will need to head for a body of water. Lets head over to the river" said the sensei. The walked accross half the village to get to the river. "Now the next skill you will learn how to walk on water. To do this you must concentrate your chakra in your feet. Now i will demonstrate." the sensei said. He closed his eyes and put his hands together. Tai looked at his sensei's shoes and noticed they began to glow a soft blue. The sensei looke at Tai and said "You ll notice that a blue chakra aura has formed around my feet. This shows that i have channeled a large ammount of chakra there."

I managed to defeat him with a earth style jutsu allthough i normaly fight with two gates of chakra open, but then again i could care less what i use to kill my opponents, and i fought him about one year ago anyway''

"Hi, i just came here, i'm looking for the acadamy teacher" said Yoshimitsu.
"Well, you just found her" said the sensei. "If you are new, then you might need to learn the basics. I recomend that you learn Substitution." She said this with a very serious face
"Ok, that was he first one that i wanted to learn anyways."
"Good to know. Here are the hand seals" she shoiws him all the hand signs. "Right when you do that, you will be switched with an inanimate object, mostly trees. You should practice doing this really fast before you actually get targetted."
"Who is gonna to test my skills?"
"Me."
"Then i better get started." He does the hand signs.
She comes up to him. "Thats wrong. Do it like this." She sows him again.

He tries it again. "Ok, i got the first part down, now what?"
"Pay close attention to the next part that i am about to say. You must learn to channel your chakra to go throughout your body. If you can't, then the jutsu won't work and you will get killed."
stare "What? Can you say that in a language that i can understand."
"Make the chakra move around your body. If you don't you will die"
"And how am i supposed to do that." confused
"That is the easy part. You meditate."
"For how long?" He asked with a puzzld face.
"However long it takes." neutral

Two Hours Later.....
"I've got it. I can feel my chakra moving throughout my body."
"That's great. Now this is the last part" clone turns to smoke "Think fast" throws two kunais at him.
Does hand seals as fast as he can "Substitution."
"Nice but what did ...." eek "You switched my rule book for your life?"
"Yes, isn't that a good thing?"
"Well you did the technique right but if you had messed up it would have only made you go to sleep."
"Sorry, next time i will be more considerate." He becomes excitetd snce he thought he finished the task. "Now can i learn how to walk on trees?"
