Loreli_Silentsong "Go?" Msuko blinked, shaking her feathers dry again. Her little birdy brain would never think of such a thing on her own, but with the idea implanted into her mind, she hopped around gleefully. Exploring! Maybe they could go exploring.
"Are there any caves around, kree?" The little bird chirped. The trees were her home, but caves seemed rather interesting. She'd heard interesting things about caves, but had never seen one. "I've heard some prey beasts talking about caves before. I don't know if I'd trust them, I don't even think they could fit into them!", Urari said chuckling. He looked around to see if anyone was watching the two creatures. There wasn't so he proceeded to converse with Msuko. "But supposedly, they're hidden behind the waterfalls. You don't mind another bath, do you?".
He looked every which way as if looking for a sign to point him in the direction they should go. He looked to Msuko to see if she had any idea where they should start out.

Matakas pink tongue slipped into the water, her cool eyes watching the dense foliage for any movement. Her lost attitude had been somewhat replace by a secure sense of freedom, and in herself, perhaps dominance. She pawed at the emerald ground and growled a little, she hadnt really spoke to anyone around here. The places and creatures were still a secret, that she knew nothing about. She was merely exploring, some may call it being lost, and she was, but to her it was an adventure.

Barinsh's feathers begin to quiver at the mere thought of having a lion in such close proximity. His wings move a little in anticipation and he forces himself to look down and speak to the lion below him.
"Great, noble cats may I depart, or do you need my assistance for anything else? I really should be going, there's this one female that visits the river over that way," he nods his head into the distance, "and let me just say one thing. She had the most exquisite coloring over her eyes and perfectly groomed feathers across her stomach. Uh, you prolly don't need to hear all this do you?"
Barinsh glances towards the panther hunting the poor creature still cowering in the bush, too stunned to move.

Montsho moved with perfect silence, the world around her seeming to stiffen at her approach. She was right within clawing distance of the porcupine, pulling herself onto her hind legs to peer over at the still little animal. She saw just where he was, unfortunately he was starting toward where she was, and though he didn't have sense to look up, he'd notice her when his nose hit her paw. Thinking quickly she knelt down and took a tiny pebble in her mouth, rising once more to her hind quarters. She gave a toss of her headthat landed the rock just an inch or so behind her prey, enough for him to turn in bewilderment. She slipped her paw beneath it stealthily and pushed up and over, flipping it to it's back and picking it up gently in her jaws as it squirmed and attempted to ball itself. The panther began her journey back, a little less silent now that she held a wiggling parcel.
Layla, looked curiously at the bird, and then in the direction she knew the river to be. She then noticed the birds startled reaction as the hunt took place.
"Do not have to watch, close eyes," the lion cub offered shortly, demonstrating by closing her eyes tightly and opening them once more.

Barinsh closes his eyes tightly and then opens them again. He opens his beak and chirps to the lion.
"Actually, I really must be going, have to fly to the river or I'll miss her. She only goes down once or twice a day. Maybe today she'll notice me!" He flaps his wings and rises up from his perch and heads off in the direction of the river. "I'll see you again soon, little lion. I'm usually near this clearing at this time everyday. Come look for me again sometime!"
He dwindles in size as he moves away until he's finally just a speck of green and yellow in the distance, seconds later he's gone.

fedha looked around. he had fallen asleep, and was now worried. his family must be worried about him. he stood quickly, and searched for the two birds and the cub. no where to be found. he sighed, as he was now alone, and he took a few steps out into the tree's. his tail swaying slighlty as his nose sniffed at the air. he made short, whinnies, but no reply. his grey eyes now alert, his nostrels flaring, he made his way through the mistwater forest

Fedha's black hoofs created indents in the soft mush of dirt, as his nose was filled with the scent of wetness. his mouth began to water as water seemed quite good at the moment. he began to search out for some.

After drinking her fill she padded towards several creatures, Are they lions? She thought, and curiusity took her over as she walked over to them, head held high, placing one paw in front of the other. As she apporached she cleared her throat. "Excuse me?" Asked the wild dog puppy, her eyes glancing around in curiousity, for she was a very curious puppy and hadnt been in these lands for long.

Night had fallen over the jungle just after Maji had managed to get three stones to his little fish reserve dam. It had been hard running back and forth but every day he grew closer to completing his project. He gently set the third stone in place upon the left wall-giving more support to the weak point in the wall. Stepping back onto the bank, he shook his paws off and turned to inspect his work once more. They were coming along quite well, and the water swelling into the small bowl had become still, flushing out the mud that had been stirred by the cub’s paws and the fresh rocks. A contented smile graced his pleasant face and he began down the stream again. Every night he would venture to the meadow to meet with the heard beasts. In a way, everything had a rhythm to it. He had lived his life to the same beat and it’s what had kept him alive. It was his belief that his parents hadn’t truly faded from his life. Nothing was by chance, everything had a purpose that would lead to the better good. He had been in a cave hidden from the eyes of predators, from the grip of illness, and hidden from the world. Creatures who would normally fear a lion had cared for him and provided for his emotional needs. They lived all around him. They were in the water that fed, watered, protected, and comforted him. They were in the stars that lit the land for him at night, in the creatures that spoke to him when he most needed it, they were in the jungle itself.
The cool night breeze whispered through the trees with it’s own voice, singing with the water that rang over the rocks and keeping with the rhythm of the chirping night bugs. The fireflies dancing along the darkened earth erased the boarder between heaven and earth. The moon illuminated all that shimmered in the breeze from the smallest blade of grass to the large lake in the distance. Maji stepped slowly into the valley, his eyes taking on the glow of the slender moon crescent. He needn’t walk silently among this jungle- nothing hunted him here. Each head of the small herd turned to him, their ears alert for just a moment before relaxing. They all turned and went about their grazing. Not a word needed to be said- they had pretty much accepted the orphaned cub as one of them. He took up his usual spot on the old log that had inclined itself above the valley.
His eyes lifted to the sky and to the stars. They filled him with both comfort and sorrow. They were so distant, so quiet and yet their light comforted him. They lived within him as well… he was sure that they had left a part of them inside him. It was not luck that he knew how to read the writings on the walls, how to write them, how to speak the language, and how to sing the ancient songs. He could never feel ungrateful to the world for have taken his parents from him. He was convinced that everything happened for a reason, that the river would eventually reach the sea even after crossing many lands and confronting many trying turns. Sometimes the river would dry up, sometimes it would hit rocks, but somehow- the waters always returned.
At the darkest hour of the night, the young cub took himself back to the caves. The gems along the walls reflected the moonlight in their precise patterns- illuminating the stories that took place at that time. His kin had been clever and creative. It was hard to see how their near extinction was for the better good, but it was always darkest before dawn broke. It had been a long day… he had met another lion. Somehow, she had been guided to him to let him know that he wasn’t the only lion in the world… but were there other children of the rains? Time would reveal that to him when he needed it to be. With a peaceful smile, Maji settled himself down in his bed of moss, laying his head across his paws. A silent good night was sent to those watching over him as sleep overcame his body.

(( Felt like changing my rp font. ^-^'' ))
::Hodari paused half way to Ciyari, orbs of crimsion color glued to those shimmering rocks.. They reminded him of stars on a lake's surface, sparkling and dancing about... If he had been alone in this place.. He might have sat there for hours gazing at each stone, attempting to figure out what made them glow so radiently..:: ::He shook his head quickly, moving up beside the lioness. Not a word escaped his throat. Not a noise fell from his vocal box...::
::After a period of silence, Hodari's absent voice became present again, allowing him to speak.::"Lead the way." ::He said quietly, his throat feeling rather dry.::

Her face is a mixture of amusement as she watches Hodari, but Ciyari is soon impatient to move on. She ducks quietly into the long hallway, where only a few glittering jewels light the way - otherwise, it's very dark, and she slows slightly. She's always nervous about this part of the passage. It's so creepy, in some ways...it makes her edgy.
Drip, drop. Water can be heard dripping up ahead. The cub knows it's an illusion, however; the real water isn't for another few tunnels and caverns yet. Instead, they come into a room about as large as the one they left, this time only lightened by a few jewels. A few odd stumps are littered throughout the ground of the cavern...where trees once stood. Someone or something has knocked them over long ago, and they are polished beautiful and hard by the ages. From here, there are two places to go; down a corridor up ahead, and a darkened tunnel off to the left. Grinning cheekily, she jumps up onto one of the stumps, tail swishing. "Which way would you go - straight ahead, or left?"

::He approched the logs, a puzzled look on his face at the sight of them.::The sound of the dripping water was making him more and more thirsty... ::
::At Ciyari's question he blinked, giving the girl a rather amused look. She wanted him to choose? Hmm... Well...::The cub shifted his stare towards the first pathway, straight ahead of them.. Then he allowed those rubies he called eyes to wander to the darkness... That dark tunnel appered to be calling him towards it. It's mysterious apperance intresting the young one..:: "That one." ::A solemn look fell upon Hodari's face as he began to approch the tunnel..::"If.. It's alright with you?"
