Hotari took Jordiar's hand and smiled brightly, pulling him closer to herself and pressing a kiss to his cheek gently before squeezing his hand. With a soft giggle the pair disappeared, reappearing at the ocean, as promised.

Brynjar pushed open the doors of the arcade, smiling as he watched the flashing lights with innocent joy. He neared one of the machines, tapping the buttons effortlessly with his index finger, his gaze searching for a coin machine. Finally spotting it, he put in a few paper bills and retrieved his coins from the dish. Smiling in contentment, he looked around for a place to start.

Charity sighed, having finally lost the epic game of Pac-Man she had been playing for what seemed like an eternity. The girl spun on her heels and gazed about the immediate area, leaning against the large machine as she took in the sights of the place.

Brynjar spotted the girl, his eyes flickering with happiness as he bounded towards her confidently. "Hello!" he spoke, his gentle voice booming with the sudden greeting. "Would you like to play a game with me?"

Her eyes widened as she attempted to take a step back from the boy, but not getting anywhere. "Uhh," she began nervously, her eyes quickly moving to the floor. "Wh-what kind of game?" Charity asked, clutching onto her long sleeves.

He chuckled, patting her shoulder gently. "I did not mean to scare," he said, showing her the vast amount of shiny coins in his hand. "There are many two-player games. How about racing?" he asked, gesturing to a large machine with two chairs.

"Oh, no, you didn't scare me," she chuckled, forcing herself to look at the boy. "I just wasn't expecting anybody to talk to me here or anything, since I don't know anyone... That's all." Charity glanced to the racing game he had gestured to, tilting her head somewhat. "I've never played it before, so I'll probably be bad at it. But if you want me to play with you, I'll give it a try." The girl nodded matter-of-factly as she pushed herself from the machine she had been leaning against.

"I have not played, either," Brynjar said, leading the pretty girl to the game. He sat in one of the seats, grinning ear to ear. "Gosh, this is fun," he mumbled excitedly, pushing four coins into the proper slot. "Are you ready?" he asked, grabbing the steering wheel.

Charity quickly climbed into the seat, not being able to help but smile as well. She freed her hands from the long sleeves of her outfit and clutched onto the steering wheel in front of herself, glancing to the boy. "I think so," she laughed girlishly.

He hit the start button, his foot on the accelerator as the game began. He tried his best, turning the wheel and keeping his foot glued to the pedal, but he was distracted by watching the girl in the seat beside him. Her joyful expression was really heart warming to him.

Having never even dreamed of being behind the wheel before, it took Charity a few moments to realize what she had to do to get anywhere in the game. After rather slamming her foot onto the pedal and beginning to move, she giggled to herself, her smile growing wider as she turned the wheel in each direction. "I'm so bad at this!" she exclaimed happily through a laugh, trying not to take her eyes off of the screen.

"Actually, you're doing wonderfully," Brynjar said, turning his gaze back to the screen in time to see that he'd lost the first round. Laughing, he hit the start button once again. After all, it was best two out of three.
