Lena smiled slightly, she was quite surprised that Sakura seemed to actually be trying to be nice, though it was a welcome surprise.

Sakura sighed again and looked to the water, that was rather cool once again. I feel weaker by letting myself feel for people...She knew that sometimes it made others feel stronger, and silently wondered how Lena felt towards the subject. Truth be told, She liked Lena. She just didn't want to lower herself to mortal emotions any further than she had.

Though friends sounded like a good idea, she had a problem with keeping them interested. Sakura sighed and shook her head as she looked to Lena. I don't -do- friends. Friends are unneccessary probably moreso than believing and hoping in another. She shook her head to herself again and glared to the water, her past flooding back to her.

Sakura shifted her glare to Lena a moment then shook her head. I doubt it. They'd just let me down, as par usual. I've learned not to trust in anyone but myself. She paused a moment and shook her head again, looking off into the flowers rather than into the water.

"You're missing out on a lot by letting yourself think that way..." Lena said with a sigh, there really didn't seem to be any hope of changing Sakura's mind, but she figured she'd try anyway since it was keeping her mind off her problems. "I mean.. yes, you will get hurt by some people.. but that's just a part of life...."

Sakua shook her head again. She didn't want to talk about friends or the benefits of having them. In the four hundred years she'd lived, the'd all disappointed her, and she couldn't see how that would be different. I suppose to each their own with who they know and how they want to be treated...she muttered, letting her fingertips slip back into the water.

Lena shook her head some, 'yup she's a hopeless case...' she thought to herself "I should go now... I need to find your brother...." Lena stood and straightened out her dress as she spoke.

Emily walked into the garden, happy to be away from her twin. She sat down among a cluster of flower bushes and began humming softly to herself,staring above her at the clouds

Sakura shrugged slightly, figuring she should find her way home as well. Knowing Shinji, he's either waiting for you or wallowing in self pity. she offered, hoping it would help Lena find her brother.

Hrmph...Sakura shook her head and shifted, moving her skirts as she stood. She felt better a little, she told herself. At least I'm not crying anymore.

Madison ran into the gardens,throwing off Yi Xians' jacket,stoppingg only to look back and make sure he had followed in some way..or at least knew where she was.
Despite any doubts she had had before,he was more friendly then some people she had met. Instantly her thoughts flew to Ray for some reason.
The garden she had entered was mostly a vast pond,almost a lake. Rushes grew near the edges and it seemed fall for some reason had come early,with the trees around her bare. Leafless twigs reached up to the sky which was still blue despite the clouds puching and fighting across it.
It was kind of unerving,the surface had a few bits of scum in it and every now and then she could swear she saw an animal of some kind dart just beneath its clear water into its darker depths.
She sighted a seat and headed towards it,her boots thumping heavilt on the ground.

Yi Xian swiftly followed behind Madison, plucking up his coat where it had fallen and settling it over his arm. His yellow eyes darted over the garden setting from the scummy lake and the creepy reeds to the clouds overhead that appeared to be closing in on them, trying to obscure them from sight like a grisly curtain call before an epic death scene.
"Isn't it beautiful?!" Yi Xian declaired, completely serious.
