"Im sorry that what I said confused you even more Katrea, but the child was created from the orb itself so it no longer needs a host it is itself. So that young child is the orb and has all of its power"

Slipping on his coat and placing his hands into the pocket he sighed deeply. He wished Katrea would remember his past or atleast some of it so he could help them out, but he knew Katrea had his own journey to recover his memory and their paths would cross again.

Katrea took a look at green a bit worried if the power of the Orb in this child could be used as a weapon to kill hundreds of people.

"This child, I worry about the threat he holds."

Then Fira answered Katrea with yet another side of this endless story. And this one had Katrea playing an important part about the Orb.

"What, so in what you’re saying not all the ORB was gone and I had a part in erasing its existents. If this was true then I was the last one to see that bit of the orb. But then that would mean this boy wasn't the orb. Although I know the poison of the Shadow ORB to be true and they did in fact kill that woman from my past then I have no reason not to believe Zetsuei. Then there is the story of the knight where they say that the Orb is gone and all that is left is bits of it dark energy in monsters and poisoned people."

Katrea stopped and the room went quite with only the wind blowing. He held up a finger to say more but no sound came from his mouth. He suddenly grabbed his hair and shook his head from side to side.

"Dam, this has made this whole thing impossible to work out. But the more facts I get the more I understand why something like this happened. With this entire random story thing, with bits of truth in every one it seems the orb may never be understood fully by anyone."

Katrea stood and smiled with his hands at his side.

"I only have one lead left to follow in this story and that’s to find this child and ask him"

The city was now safe from invaders and the knights helped fix what they could and gathered in the main square where a large fountain full of clean water was. They drunk and rested as the queen was readied to talk to them. She was in the throne room where she spoke to an informer along with Gearo and deodoraan.

"So, it seems this was all planed by the new president, she came claming piece and was making weapons at her factories"

"Most likely she paid that red mage man to attack us with thugs and rats to weaken us."

"Maybe"

The informant was a rather ugly looking old man with yellow teeth. He was exchanging information for protection in the castle. He said replying to Gearo’s maybe

"It true i have these plans for a new weapon but there in al bhed and code making it next to impossible to decipher. I had a small group infiltrate and steal this information consisting of a moogle and a ronso"

"i see, this looks bad"

The queen walked over to her throne and said nothing she simply said thinking over everything. She didn't want to start a war but this was looking like she had no control. Suddenly outside an angry man with a piece of paper gripped in his hand. He ran in to the palace, it was easy to see he was of their army. He burst into the throne room and collapsed on the floor holding out the paper.

"Please queen, take thiss coff coff"

The man fell unconscious deodoraan rushed over and began to see to his wounds. The queen walked over and was about to ask if he was ok, but deodoraan spoke out first handing the paper to the queen.

"His gone"

The queen was shocked and opened the paper; she looked angry at the paper and marched to the balcony.

"It seems war is upon us."

She held out the paper and showed it to deodoraan and Gearo.

"By the gods"

Recruit to the makina faction army it said on it and this meant that war had been declared on the mist continent. She walked over to the balcony and spoke out to her people in a simple speaker system that was heard through out the kingdom.

"People of Arvardia and mist, Balduvia city of makina and Bedonis have declared war on us, not only through word and news but by the killing and attacking of Arvardia. it seems there tyranny and evil will stop at nothing to control us like they would there macina, we cannot let this happen. From this day the knight of Asureia, black mage units, white mage units and soldiers will be recruiting able bodies. We will not let makina crush us, we will not slowly fade into the shadows, we will fight for are way of life and are people."

the knights made an mighty cheer as one and all felt anger for what was done today and so they so felt war was upon them.

"Katrea Wait"

Zetsuei said as he quickly walked over to Katrea.

"Is there anything we could do to help around here" I know Fira and myself have to go find the young child Maki and bring her back here. But once we return what can we do to help Avardia if there is going to be war."

"War?" Fira muttered as she watched Zetsuei walk over to Katrea and heard him speak. "No not in a war..." The phoenix said, "Zetsuei, phoenixes can't take sides in a war. They're are good people on both sides... I can help people, but I can't help if is for any war effort."

"Truthfully, I don't know..." Fira replied as she stood up, "...Maybe we'll know when the time comes, and just do our best." She paused for a moment, "This place will probably be in caos when we come back though, with war declared on them." Slowly the phoenix began to head to the door, "Yet the longer we wait here the further Maki will be."

"Yes, let's return to the air ship," Fira said with a nod as she followed Zetsuei out with her wings spreading out from behind, "I just still don't understand why the dark magic of the orb would reincarnate Maki into a small child.."
