Suka blinked, realizing how odd it must have looked for him to be pacing back and forth and playing with the sand two seconds after they'd reached it. He looked aoround to see whether anyone else saw and it did not seem that way...he ran up beside her though anyway. "No...I was just curious..." he spoke in a voice that made it obvious that he'd embarassed himself. He looked around and was happy to see that this place was calm...uncomplicated. A lot of the places at the high school had been too complicated for him to actually sit down and look at without ending up trying to figure things out. This place seemed to be perfect for relaxing...or whatever Karin was talking about doing before they'd left for here. The way that the sand felt under his shoes was already comfortable so he assumed that it would not take much for the rest of him to become comfortable as well. "...I just noticed something...there's only two places we've gone that didn't have water...and neither of them were for a very long time..." he said this half amused and half curious, "is that coincidence?" he looked at her curiously, hiding the part of him that wanted to show an amuse smile at the same time. There was the Church and the Library which did not have water...but of all of the places they went...water was not far off. Crystal Moon Lake was the first place...that was where he followed her to oncehe arrived at the school. After that there was the courtyards where the fountain was at and the hotsprings which speaks for itself. The Ancient forest which probably had bodies of water somewhere in it, but if not was close enough to Crysal Moon for that lake to count for it. Other then those places there was only the Dining hall and that was where she'd gotten the water for her rehydrating...it was perfectly understandable how Suka could become curius about this as hey yet again approached water.

Karin grinned at him as he caught up with her again, and tried to push back the laughter as she saw she may have embarassed him. She paused though, as he began to ask a question, and she looked back at him again. Her ears perked in anticipation as her head tilted slightly. Her hands were back in her sweatshirt's pocket, and she realized just then that it might have looked odd for her to be wearing it and long pants while visiting the beach in the middle of summer. But she pushed away the thought as Suka spoke. She blinked a couple times, and then watched the ground as she thought about it for a moment. Her bare feet weren't sinking in very far, as she walked lightly across the surface. After a moment, she glanced back at him. "Ah, I guess... water is just what I feel most comfortable around," she laughed. "Since it's my main source of power, I feel a little... unguarded when there's none around. If something were to happen, I'd have to pull the water from myself again."

"Thus causing you to weaken overall instead of just be at a disadvantage...right?" he asked this curiously, but it became rhetorical as he interrupted his own train of thought as someone suffering from A.D.D. might do. "-Oh! That reminds me...when am I supposed to start training you," he changed his voice for this next part, "in the ways of the tiger?" He blinked, "Just kidding...but seriously when am I supposed to start you up with the fighting and stuff?" all of a sudden the speed he was talking at and the tone of voice seemed foreign,,,actually excited. When he first had suggested the idea to her in the courtyard he had not thought of it as he was now...it seemed to him now that he was actually looking forward to teaching her to fight...at the least he'd be training her tobetter herself at it. He would not force her to change the way she fought completely...but the last person he had taught had become part Nightmare and in that he could train them in magnificent ways. If they were not a challenge to begin with...they would definitelly be able to put up a fight now...though he was almost positive they'd already passed so he probably would not bring them up unless the question came back that spoke of past pupils of his. Suka shoved these thoughtsout of his head as he awaited her reply to what he had said...he'd ask her if she wanted to learn more then he could teach her here once she'd begun to make progress...going from the type of things she spoke about using her abilities to do, to using the techniques that he woud teach her was a large step...unless by concidence she knew part of what he wanted to teach her already...

Karin paused for a second, glancing at him as he exclaimed before she could reply. Her head tilted in amusement as he began speaking more quickly than normal, with more emotion in his voice. She nearly burst out laughing as he changed his tone for one part. She watched him carefully, and then smiled, shrugging slightly. "Ah, anytime I guess," she replied. "Though, I must warn you, I'm a really terrible fighter." She'd always just distracted the bullies back home enough for herself and Kana to get away. She didn't really fight them. She rubbed the back of her head nervously, and then looked out over the water they were approaching. He seemed really excited, and it actually kind of made her want to go ahead and start too. She'd never really seen him fight. Just that blood demon, but she wasn't going to compare the two, or assume Suka would do the same things. She rubbed her arm lightly for a second, where one of her injuries had been, but quickly slipped her hand back into her pocket without saying anything.

First instinct was to ask if she wanted to start here at the beach...but then he thought about what she'd said before they'd come here...and training to ight was definitely not on the list. Suka knew what water was normally in bodies of water that were hard to see the end of...he'd been in an ocean once in his life and the taste of the water as he half-drowned was disgusting...the waves were annoying...and the water made him feel really sticky when the dry air from above it hit him. He again put these thoughts out of his head, the thoughts about salt-water, but that only made the thoughts about past training return. Thinking about that made it impossible for him to not at least suggest the idea of training her here...the water would make her feel comfortable, or at least that's what he hoped as he began to speak. "Well...what.....what about here? Would now be a bad time?" he asked this hesitantly and with an unsure accent on the fluent part of what he said. Here would not be a bad place, as he saw the way that the terrain worked he began to like the idea even more...the dunes made for good airborne attacks and the way it slanted closer to the water, along with the way that it was hard to grip the ground, made it a good place to prepare someone for the different types of places that a fight might be started at. Even though all of this sounded great to him, he left it up to her what they would do...now that he thought about it there semed more to do at the beach then there had been anywhere they'd been so far.

Karin paused again, looking back at him and away from the water at the suggestion. She blinked, then frowned, and dug her bare foot into the sand absently. Then she let her eyes wander around everything, just to take it all in. "Um, sure... why not?" She sounded a little nervous though, since she didn't really know what to expect. He'd probably find how weak and inexperienced she was and grow annoyed or something. But she was willing to learn if he was willing to teach. She smiled awkwardly and nodded her head as she pulled her sinking foot from the sand. "So what do we do first?" she honestly had no idea. Her only weapon was the water, but she'd really only tried shaping it into random things, or slamming people with it to hold them down while she retreated. She honestly didn't know the first thing about fighting. She'd probably given that away by how badly she'd been beaten by the demon earlier.

"First...we teach you how to better control your water...it's not much different from how I use my Nightmare energy really. The reason we stat there is because you've probably made the most progress on your own in that area...if we get you to where you can use your water as a weapon then maybe you'll be able to defend yourself before the physical training begins..." he said this and, as he spoke, he realized what a waste of terrain that would be...though that was what he felt was better for her anyway. He did not wait for them to make it to the wate at theircurrent pace, and he was not very fast to begin with, so he jumped from where he stood, landing right where the hard sand that had been packed by the water began. "I wanna see you do something you've not done before with the water...do something new before we start..." he only wanted her to do this because he wanted to see how long it would take her to decide on something new to do...and the amount of time it would takeher to actually listen to her, whether or not she would protest etc.

Karin listened closely as he spoke, blinking at the mention of physical training. She laughed quietly, shaking her head as she wondered what she'd gotten herself into. But, she was going to try her best to do what he said so she'd be able to protect herself better in the future. And if he was going to be putting effort into helping her, she didn't want to let him down by doing horrible at it. She blinked as he suddenly jumped forward and watched as he landed again in the harder, damp sand. Then she stopped moving, standng still in place as she thought for a moment about something she could try. Her eyes flicked towards the water, and she waved her hand in a twirling motion. Then, fairly far out, the water began swirling around itself, moving around in rapid circles until it'd formed a large whirlpool. She'd never really thought to try one of those before. But, if she got her opponent into the water, she'd be able to trap them in this, right? Her eyes went back to Suka as she kept the whirlpool going.

Suka watched how quickly she'd done what he asked her to do and seeing the whirlpool he nodded. "Good..." she did it without protest or even questioning why he was making her do it, obedience was one of the things that he usually liked to see in his pupils...if he were a teacher here then he'd probably not enjoy teaching as much...once something enjoyably becomes work it's not as ejoyable as it was before you started getting payed for it. He looked at her approvingly and then thought for a moment aobout what should come next. "Okay...so how about you get as much of the water floating as you possibly can now...see how much you can control at one time until it becomes dangerous for you. That'll help to find more out too..." He hoped to find otut her full capacities for most things in this first session...if you want to call it that.

Karin watched him for a moment and then nodded again, looking back to the water. "Floating...?" she said softly, mostly to herself, as she narrowed her eyes slightly. The whirlpool she had made suddenly lifted upwards, causing water to rush into the hole made when she removed it. She crouched down slightly, her knees to her chest now, as if that helped her somehow to concentrate. The whirlpool was about five feet in diameter, so she slowly began building to it, making it up to eight feet before she shut her eyes, now having to picture it in her mind to keep it stable and together. She clenched her teeth slightly, finding it was growing much more difficult to do.

He watched her with interest. Suka's eyes rarely watched the water but instead they were set on Karin...the way she executed what she'd been told to do was what he wanted to know. Where she began to look troubled at and when she was unable tohold it all together. As the floating whirlpool rose and began to hold more and more water in it he wondered how much water was actually in it...hopefully she'd be able to tell him the amount that was in it once it became too much for her, because it being a whirlpool made it hardfor him to tell extly how much was in it. She had such an advantage in a place like this that if she were to start conflict with someone once she learned everything she could about the water...everything that he could teach her at least...then she could end the conflict just as fast as it started out. Hopefully it was not already becoming toom much for her at eight feet in diameter...though if it was it meant nothing. He waited for it to grow larger and for her to begin to struggle...so far it hadn't come quite yet.

[I am so sorry for the delays... I'm about to explode because my CD burner isn't working! D<]
Karin peeked her eyes open again, still crouched slightly as she watched what she was doing. She waited for a second to see if he'd say something, but when he didn't she took that as a sign to keep adding things to it. She nodded her head slowly, though no one had said anything, and then floating water began building upon itself rapidly, hovering there over the ocean. It was about twelve feet in diameter, and six feet in height. Karin frowned slightly as she continued trying to add to it. She was somewhat curious about her limit now as well, wondering how much she could hold and move around at one time. She was surprised already to see it was this much. She'd been holding back on those bullies, it seemed.

Suka watched as it continued to grow and he continued to look from Karin to it and then back to Karin again. He had simply asked her to see how much shecould get floating at onetime and instead of her just raising as much as she could she raised the whirlpool, thus keeping the water moving and adding onto it's madd at the same time. He smiled lightly asit continued to grow and walked over to where Karin was to see from her point of view. He did not want to distract her though so instead of just waliking all of the way over to where she was doing it from he stopped hal way and sat down in the sand looking back to the water every now and then to see if it wavered at all. She was what interested him most still and though he assumed it would make a big wave when she returned the water to the ocean he still sat only half way between where he had stood and where he was...probably not the smartest place to sit if the wave was as huge as it could be.

Karin continued staring at her floating whirlpool as she kept increasing its size. She'd already doubled it once, expanding it from six feet across to twelve. By now it'd reached eighteen, and soon twenty. Honestly, she was pretty amazed that she was able to do so much. Maybe she should have tried leading that blood demon to the lake and then dumped the lake on it. Though, it was Suka's body and she knew she wouldn't have let herself injure him badly, even if she'd been able to. She bit her lip, partly at the thought, and partly because at twenty five acroos and seven tall, her whirlpool was starting to feel a little heavy. She continued adding more though, extremely curious about what exactly her limit was. It didn't occur to her that since she kept the whirlpool spinning that was using up effort that could otherwise be used adding even more too it. Her eyes flicked once to Suka as he sat down, but stayed mostly upon the floating water.
[Yeah... huge thunderstorm came by and I had to get off. ><;;]

Suka watched the water now as it continued to grow...hecould only eimagine how much it would hurt if she dropped that on someone...or if someone got caught up in it. He wondered when she would have to drop it as he saw her bite her lip and assumed that she was beginning to struggle with the water. He stood up from where he sat and watched, hesitating about whether or not to say something and then finally not doing it because he did not want it to distract her and cause her to drop the water. As it grew he began to walk further and further away from the shore...she could drop it at any moment and he did not want to be in the way when she did. He could easily protect himself but he did not feel like forcing himself to have to do something like that...it was just out of instinct that he did it now...
