"That's very kind of you to offer, thank you.." Catalina said with a nod "Anywhere that's cheap and has rooms available would be great, probably something semi-permanent since I don't know just how long we'll be stuck here.."

Hmn...Tajiro thought a moment, tapping his lip. Perhaps the boarding house would be best...And as for payment, maybe explain your situation and work out some sort of deal? He wrinkled his nose in thought, not wanting for his suggestion to seem degrading or stereotypical any as it simply was the best, most obvious choice. Maybe they'll let you stay in exchange for housework, or some sort of maintenence.

Cass had strolled along long and tall aisles until he'd found a suitable piece of reading material. It was far different from his normal fare, he wasn't typically much of a Stephen King fan. But really, that was hardly fair to say, either, since he read everything he could get his hands on. It was just now, with a perpetual offering of something new at his fingertips, he was, for the first time, allowed a choice of what he could have his hands on in the first place.
He settled into his favorite place by far, a couch tucked away under a window supporting a series of dusty-but-fourishing plants, and opened Bag of Bones to ot's precursory author's note.

Merryn, armful of books weighing her down, flitted along the aisles of the library looking for one last, special, read. Still mourning the dissappearance of Jalceri, the small angel hummed sadly then squeeked as she accidentally collided with the side of a sofa. Gathering her books, she barely looked up to see if there was anyone in the couch as she brushed long, lavendar, bangs from her eyes. She then squeeked again.

He wasn't there to see for very long, for within seconds of realizing what was going on, he was down on the floor on his knees, helping her gather her lost books. "Oh, are you all right? I hope you haven't hurt your self or been frightened too badly, I'm so sorry!" As he lifted his head to hand her an armload of books, he had the chance to take her in and his eyes widened and softened, his ivory cheeks tinging slightly. " ... oh ... my."

"Oh... my?" Merryn repeated the words questioningly but was appreciative of the help. Looking over the boy helping her, and the color to his cheeks, Merryn blushed as well. Mewing lightly she quickly looked down at her books and smiled softly. It had been a while since a male had made her blush in any form and it kind of confused her. But he was very nice to help her, and so cute. Those last words escaped quietly as she eyed him again under her hair, causing her to blush deeper. Standing quickly, she offered him her hand and did her best to hide the color to her face. "Hello."

He blinked in astonishment onece more, than dipped his head, blushing even more brightly, partially in shame for staring, partially something else. He reached out and took her hand gently, without raising his eyes.
"I'm quite sorry, please for give me for staring. I don't spend much time around people at all, and I seem to have forgotten my manners completely. I do beg your forgiveness."
He kissed her knuckles, very, very softly, taking in a sharp pleasure at even that innocent touch. This was no average beautiful girl. This was an angel. Literally.

Merryn turned crimson at the touch and prayed it wouldn't show too much. Wings fluttering, Merryn twittered out a soft giggle. "I-I should be the one begging forgiveness. I wandered right into you." A gentleman, too! The bird-like angel positively glowed when he kissed her hand, what fortune to have run into someone so sweet.

"Not at all, it's an honor and a pleasure to be wandered into by such an alarmingly beautiful creature." He released her hand and made a further, feeper bow, before standing. He was only slightly taller than her, even standing tall, and he kept his head ducked slightly, politly, smiling in a shy, soft way. "I am Cassidy James, but it's such a long name. It would honor me deeply if you would just call me Cass."

Smiling a big, toothy grin, she covered her mouth with her hand and nodded politely. Giggling again under her hand, she quickly composed herself and dropped her arm to her side. "Cassidy James? What a lovely name, Cass. I'm Merryn Angelique Nisha." Blushing at the useage of her whole name, she shook her head and fluttered her wings in embarassment. "But please, call me Merryn or Ryn."

"Ryn ..." he sighed softly, positively enthralled by the lavendar-haired beauty. He kissed her knuckles again, shivering again very vaugely, then dropped her hand again, standing tall. He couldn't help letting his eyes wander to her wings, and he murmured, almost reverently, "What on Earth is a pristine seraphim like you doing in a place like this?"

Catalina said with a bit of a smile "Anyway... if you could point me in the direction of this boarding house, that would be great..."((sorry I took so long >.<;; forgive me <3))

Megan chewed on her lip as she entered the library and took a few steps toward wandering. "I should have just stayed home and knitted," she muttered as she began at one shelf, looking over the books, running her fingers over the spines. "but no, I just had to leave it behind..." she sighed as she pulled out a book, turning it over to read the back.

Makoto glanced up, looking to the girl. "What's wrong with going out once in a while?" he asked, smiling to her. "Won't your knitting stuff still be there when you return?"
