*Bard ponders the little room and the futon* It reminds me of someplace. *he looks around him curiously*

*Bard smiles* Well, yes, libraries have private reading rooms but... this is more like a bomb shelter. *realizing that wouldn't make any sense to Maggie he presses on* I wonder if this room was created for a specific purpose. You don't need food in the Brink.... Someone could hole up in here for a long time.
*he shrugs and pats the futon*
At least we'll be comfortable.

**some time later**
*Maggie steps out of the isolation room, looking rather flushed. Clutching Bard's book in one hand, she walks back along the shelves until she reaches the spot where they'd found it, and tucks it back in place. That done, she wanders out of the library and toward the main room*
**Exit Maggie to Main, 848**

**Enter Maggie from Main, 865**
*Maggie steps in from the hallway, draws her shawl a little closer around her, and heads over to start scanning the bookshelves*
*After a bit of searching, Maggie finds the book she was looking for, and returns with it back down the hallway*
**Exit Maggie to Main, 865**

**Enter Mystina from Main, 864**
*Mystina looked around the room in awe at all the books, and began to study the shelves, walking around and hoping she could find something written in one of the languages she'd been taught. She found quite a few books written on the Fae, but not what she was looking for.*
Ugh, I need a book on swords, not my people!

*Mystina finally spotted one, and sat down with it, beginning to read it, getting a bit confused after a moment*
Maybe I can just find someone to teach me how to use a sword...

*Tavin ran in from the main room. He couldn't stop the tears. The images came rushing in all at once. Children, dead. Dying. Alexander. Thea. Robyn. Maggie. Bard. Luke. Cora. Luana. Tacitus. The images flooded through him at surging speed. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't think. He lashed out and struck one of the towering bookshelves and it came crashing down in a thunderous cacophany*
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THIS ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE!!!! IT CAN'T BE LIKE THIS!
*Tavin staggered back, supporting himself with an outstretched arm against the wall. He forced himself to breathe. Deep. Deep. Slow. Slow.*

:::Cora heard the blow from the hallway, and her brisk walk turned into a full on sprint:::
:::She got there in time to see the case of books come tumbling down, and though she almost instantly dismissed the idea of trying to stop the case frozen in time, a dozen or so books floated weightlessly even after Cora turned her attention away:::
:::She instead ran towards the Captain, wrapping her arms around his from behind. Cora didn't really think she was going to restrain him, though it did dawn upon her that he might accidentally display his strength, she was merely hoping to get his attention if he intended to keep being forceful:::
Captain!

Luana followed and watched from what she determined was a safe enough distance. She reached up and clasped the locket hidden in her shirt.

*Tavin didn't hear Cora. He didn't even notice her clinging to him. He could only hear the screams of the dead. He could only see the bodies of those killed, and they filled his entire mind. He could smell it again. It was familiar to him in a way that was at once both horrifying and comforting to him all at once. It was the sickening sweet stench of death. His body shuddered with such violence that he nearly threw Cora off him. He drew into himself, sickened, and he jerkingkly clawed at his face, as if maybe scratching out his eyes would make the visions stop*
NOOO! I DIDN'T MEAN FOR THIS TO HAPPEN! I DIDN'T WANT.....

:::Cora suddenly realized that he still was still stuck in some halucination. She grabbed his wrists to try and hold them away, but she knew he was a lot stronger than she was. If she could just snap him out of it:::
Captain, stop! You're here, in the Brink. It's me Cora... we're safe. Alex is safe, everyone is safe..!
:::At that point, she began to wonder if a neuroshock to disable him would even work:::
