After staying in the garden for a while, the experiment drifted back inside, again raising his sound barrier to keep from being noticed. Sui was benevolent, but in his experience, many things in this place weren't, and he had no plans on meeting any of them. Ware stopped by Blaine's room to see the dragon still sleeping, and slipped away again, going back to the kitchen.

Blaine's awakening was loud as he shifted, his chains rattling loudly as they hit against eachother in his sharp movements. Stretching his body out fully he let out a yawn showing his elongated fangs. Opening his eyes he sat up looking towards the window. He knew Ware had left it was not of his concern. Brushing strands of hair from his face his eyes turned back to there regular array of different colors. Standing up he pulled the crimson silk cloth over his chest before walking towards and opening the door.
Walking down the hallway quietly the first thing on his mind was food. He had been asleep for longer than he intended and food was begining to be greatly needed. He was dehydrated and his stomach felt empty. Being of a dragon he could eat and go a few days after without food again. He sniffed lightly his blind tight in his grip.

Ware heard Blaine coming, and turned slowly, looking at his friend. Hastily, the experiment pulled down his right sleeve to cover his arm. He had changed clothes, though they looked exactly the same, only now they were night-black.
Despite his friendship with him, and edged away slightly, head ducked a bit and eyes sort of averted. It had happened many times in the past that he had been deceived by kind words of friendship and hurt later on, and he was afraid that now that some time had passed, Blaine would shun him.

Blaine looked at Ware quietly for a few moments before raising a brow. He could smell someone else around him. "Met someone new huh?" His voice was quiet though showed no signs of aggression. He was still partially waking up and feeling the affects of to much sleep. His ears were ringing for whatever reason that might have been.
Walking towards the fridge he quietly opened it looking around at the food quietly. Nothing seemed edible at the moment in his eyes. Grabbing a glass and filling it water he simply sipped on the liquid in thought. He was planning on going to take a shower in a little while in hopes of waking himself up.

It is rather lucky for me that black hides blood so well, he thought absently, moving his right arm behind his back and trying to make it look natural. The rather long gash on it was his prize for not being quick enough to react some hours before after hearing someone walk up behind him.
I took him a long, long moment to register what he had said, before he answered quickly. "Ah... yes. I did. Another experiment...."

"Why are you bleeding?..." Blaine asked quietly as he held the glass in front of him. His eyes turning slowly to a cross between orange and yellow as they drifted up to Ware. He looked him in the eyes for awhile before looking to his obviously bleeding arm. He could smell blood before he left his room which was something new. He was changing physically, slowly yet changing none the less.

"A-ah.. It was my own fault," he said quietly, shying away from him, still holding his bleeding arm behind his back, looking somewhere between sheepish and guilty. "Please, I will be fine. It is nothing, really. Just a scratch." A two foot long scratch.

Blaine looked down at his glass of water casually. He could hear something when the water moved in the glass. He didnt know what it was though it caught his attention for those few seconds. Sitting the glass down he looked back to Ware. "It wasnt your fault..." He said quietly as he walked over to him.
Stopping in front of Ware he looked at him silently before taking his arm. Pushing his sleeve back he looked at the wound his eyes focusing. He closed his eyes placing his hand at the begining of the wound. His pupils became wide like regular eyes before returning to the dragon-like slits. "I can only take the pain away and stop the bleeding...healing...it must do on its own..." He whispered calmly before turning towards the exit.

Ware watched him leave sadly, feeling sort of guilty. The creature was torn between following him and staying where was. His fear of rejection had partly been the cause of the cut; he didn't want to go back to Blaine's room and thereby intrude more than he already had.
Then again, the concept of "friend" was new and odd to him. Hsi entire view of the world had been rewritten after everything that had been done to him. Before he left, though, he said hesitantly. "B-blaine...? Thank you..."

Blaine smiled softly rubbing the back of his neck. Looking back at Ware she shrugged lightly. "No problem...we're friends right?" He smiled walking out of the kitchen and back towards his room.
As he walked down the hallway the same thought roamed through his mind. It was his fault wasnt it...that Ware was hurt. If he had been awake and near him it would have never happened. He was drowned in guilt and hatred towards himself for simply sleeping. He sighed quietly slightly stressed as he opened the door to his room.

Whimpering vaguely, he drifted after him, touched but knowing Blaine felt hurt so some reason. Is it me? It must be me. I should trust him more... The silver haired creature paused by Blaine's door.
He stayed that way for several very long moments before he knocked softly.

Blaine's laugh was barely audible as he looked towards the door. "What are you knocking for?" He asked quietly before opening the door for him. Walking towards the large pile of pillows and covers he sat down for a few moments. Rubbing his eyes he covered his mouth yawning before squinting as he looked at the window. The sun was begining to go down thank goodness.
Looking towards the small bathroom at the other side of the room he stood up. He'd wait until the sun left before going in. There was more light in the small bathroom than in the room for some reason.

"I do not have to knock?" He asked in surprise. "I am... allowed?" The second question was more catious and uncertain. Ware followed Blaine's eyes to the window, watching the sun as well. It looks like his eyes when he is upset.

Seeing the familiar purple of the sky he walked towards the bathroom. He stopped for a moment thinking before looking at Ware. "Think of it as your room..." He guessed that was the best way to explain it. Plus he never liked the sound of knocking. Having sensitive ears it always sounded louder than it actually was.
Walking into the bathroom he turned the shower on. He looked at his chains quietly shaking his head before putting his blindfold on. Removing the silk cloth that covered his body he stepped into the shower simply leaning against the wall awhile in thought enjoying the feel of water.
