Isfahel, without even needing Sayael to quicken his pace, caught up easily with the other horse. "If you do that, then this trip will be in serious trouble," he muttured, the pout returning on his lips. He looked somewhat like a disapointed child - having been expecting some great treat but instead getting a rotten fish for a present - and rather deflated. "Anyway, you're the meanie because you're the one who's threatened to do mean things," he added.

Unless he wanted to full out gallop, it didn't look like he was going to get his room from Sayael. Instead, he just turned his head and stuck his nose into the air. "Hmph.. Well you started the name calling," he countered defensively. He thought it was obvious that Sayael was at fault, but.. why wasn't the other prince able to see that? That was one of the effects of not having any siblings. "And the trip wouldn't be in trouble. You would just start smelling funny because you'd have to wear the same thing over and over." The idea of doing such made him cringe inwardly.

"And I expect you would love that," he said with a slight grin. "In fact, I'm sure my sex appeal would double once I began to smell. At least I wouldn't be able to smell it, because it would be me, but I'm sure you wouldn't mind... right?" He winked at the other, his grin set in place on his face, green eyes glinting.

Dax hadn't even thought about having to smell the effects of a stinky companion himself. He looked through the corner of his eye and couldn't miss that dashing grin he was receiving from the other boy. He had to quickly avert his attention ahead of him once more. "Gross. You could just sleep outside in the rain every night while I enjoy the comfort of whatever shelter is around," he stated matter-of-factly. "It would probably wash some of that stench away. Maybe you won't be such a Prince Charming once you have mold growing on you."

"Well, I suppose I could just go nakid," he said, grin widening. It was fun to talk to Dax. It felt natural - almost like having a brother, but not having to worry about said brother getting him in trouble since they would be in trouble together if anyone found them out. "How would you like that?" he asked slyly. He had noticed the other's glance and wasn't going to let anything slip.

Dax's eyes immediatly went wide and even a blush overcame his features. What was this boy thinking?! "Sayael!" he exclaimed, completely shocked. It was almost obvious he had never heard someone suggest such a thing before. At least anyone that was sober. He released a somewhat nervous laugh, shaking his head, trying to rid himself of not only the blush on his cheeks, but the images! "I most certainly... would not like it! It would be improper and.. and it's.." His mind was so easily flustered at times. It only took a certain thing to set him off.

He saw the other's blush - he was certainly unused to this kind of talk, which made it even more fun. "Oh, don't be so shy," he purred. Had they been simply standing or walking, he would have made a move on the other to match his words. But, as it was, all he could do was force Isfahel to match his pace to the other's and bring them as close as he could - without risk of one of them snapping at the other. "And it's what?"

Faryn, luckily for the diplomat, didn't look back as he rode away on Whitley. No, he found himself a little too flustered to want to be greeted with the sight of the other. He nudged the steed in the side before setting off to a smoother canter. The sack holding the small chest of jewels and the bloodstone bumped against his leg occasionally and his clothing billowed slightly in the wind. Instead of going all the way through town he set off toward the countryside. He'd left a little late. Time was of the essence.

He didn't want to look at Sayael. He couldn't! It already felt like his face was on fire, and it wasn't helping that the other prince was trying to make him continue talking about it. "It's improper!" he repeated for a second time for lack of being able to think of anything else to describe it. "You can't just run around without any clothing!" No matter how nicely you may built under them. were his thoughts but he was quick to scold himself for thinking such. "Not to mention that you would attract far too much attention everywhere we went."

"I could, technically. Anyway, two pricnes traveling together is far too noticable, so we'll be going through forests and countryside for the most part, anyway. Did you expect to stop in an inn every night and travel through cities? They're much too crouded for us to move quickly and we'll be noticable whether I'm naked or not. After all, we'd have to be important with these two," he said, gesturing to the horses. He seemed to have turned temporarilly serious, his joking and teasing mood leaving as quickly as it had come.

Dax was more than relieved for the change of tone and mood. It allowed the cold weather time to bring natural color back into his cheeks. "Well.. I thought we could dress up in disguise while we were in the towns," he said, his bottom lip jutting out slightly in a pout of his own despite the seriousness that had newly entered the conversation. "I'd be the rugged blacksmith and you'd be my pretty wife. The lovely horses could wait, well hidden just on the outskirts of the town."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 24, 2006 6:31 pm

Sayael nearly laughed out loud. "Me? Your wife? I'm sorry, Dax, but if we're to have disguises, it would be best if you were the wife. I'm afraid you look it more than I, what with your hair..." he said, gesturing to the other's long ponytail. "And it would be best if we didn't introduce ourselves as blacksmiths. They tend to stay in one place because forges are hard to set up... It would be best if we could simply stay out of towns, but if we go in it would be best to say we're a couple traveling to try and get our parent's blessings," h said with a shrug. "It happens."

The blonde's eyes snapped over when practically sensing the other's mirth with the idea of being a wife. "No way am I going to be the wife!" he objected. "Once they find out we're missing, they'll be looking everywhere for two boys travelling together. So one of us will probably have to be a lady if we go into a town and I don't want to be that! You know what? Forget being my pretty wife. When you wear a dress, you can stuff it and be my chunky wife with ghastly features that people are absolutely terrified to look at."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 24, 2006 6:49 pm

"I wouldn't look good in drag, anyway," he explained, pouting. "I'd look like... like a man in a dress," he said finally. "You, however, could be a pretty woman. I mean, you have the hair," he pleaded. "I suppose you could always... cut your hair. Then you could be the man and I could wear your hair as a wig," he said, looking satisfied. He guessed that Dax would never want to cut his hair and was banking on that to further his argument to make the other the woman.

Mie-tanuki
((More Rosaline...))
Rosaline had returned home breifly the change into something more... normal. One did not usually walk around the streets in a ball gown. He now wore something much more simple, although still elgant and it still made him look more like a woman than trousers would. But he looked odd in trousers and he might as well meet other's expectations if he was going to take his dresses up to the palace... He had, in fact, made his own dress as well, although he had used much less fine fabrics than the ones purchased for him to use in the royal garments.
Parcels in hand, he made his way back up to the palace. The parcels were received with much excitement - three of them would, in fact, be worn by the princesses themselves and they had to be examined closely to see if they were fit. Rosaline lounged in the hall, leaning back against a tall pillar, as his work was examined, allowing his thoughts to drift. He was very tired... The dresses had kept him up for many nights. He would finally be allowed some sleep tonight, though... That was a... releif.
Muertian had returned to the main courtyard, roaming around aimlessly after Faryn had left. The second prince was handsome, a mop of perfectly teased blonde hair upon his head and sparkling green eyes with a charming smile to match. Though fifteen years old, he was decently tall. His black tunic and pants was tied with a golden sash for a belt, and though it was a dark appearance, somehow the healthy-looking teen didn't look the least bit morose. He wore it well.

As Muertian walked into the hall, he spotted a ever so tragic sight. A lone lady in his court? And a pretty one at that! For some reason, he felt as though he'd seen this person somewhere before.

Several strides took him quietly across the hall and he slowed only when he neared the pink-haired 'lady' leaning gracefully against the pillar.

"Now, what is a pretty thing like you doing here all alone?" he asked, suddenly breaking the peaceful silence, "Shouldn't a beautiful girl like yourself be out enjoying the town? Shopping, perhaps?"
