Prim, Ulani, Dice, and Cling vs. Guardian Shiny Mega Gengar 1 HP 4/10
As pokemon reach the town's heart, they would notice the distinct lack of light sources. No lamp posts, the windows bore no light behind them, and even whatever light tried to filter down from above was blotted out by dense clouds.
Pokemon will find that upon entering the town's heart, dark shadows quickly reach out to engulf them. Those that are too far apart will lose sight of their allies as they are swallowed by darkness. Cackling from nearby warn pokemon of the presence of gengar, but as the first one rises from the strange shadows, the pokemon will see it is no ordinary gengar, but a mega evolved gengar!
At first, the cackling and darkness makes it hard to tell just how many ghosts are lurking in the darkness. However, as more pokemon reach the town's heart, it becomes clear that there are maybe a dozen of the powerful ghosts, each of them looking to claim their own group of victims. If the pokemon wish to find their way to the next floor, they will have to break free of the mega gengar's shadows by defeating them!

Looking back to her Aquarian companion, the dragon gave him a nod. She to wouldn't mind getting into another 'blue' with him either. He was quite the stout fighter which made him an acceptable fighting companion. Allure herself felt she was getting more accustomed to battling. Perhaps she could convince Sylva to let her fight more often?
Either way, the duo made their way to the next floor. What they found was an abandoned town, deprived of any souls. Bout the only souls around here where the other Pokemon that were making their way through the town. The dragon nodded her head to Noah's words. "Yes, very eerie. " She voiced. Lifting her head high, she looked over the various Pokemon before them, though for the most part she couldn't entirely see their team mates... had they really gone that far ahead? Allure had to chuckle at the hypocrisy. But perhaps they'd merely been swept up in the crowd? "I don't see the, but they can't of gone far, perhaps we will run into them before the next guardian?"

To hear Vivace had never been in a town before was quite the shock to Radium. It seemed like every day wild Pokemon from all over the island would visit... though the more the mouse thought on this, she realized maybe where Vivace came from there weren't a whole lot of towns, or humans for that matter. "Well, whatever the case, towns are usually much more busy than this place." Radium pipped in with a chuckle. "Humans are everywhere, usually shouted to buy something or check something out. And all the smells... well it can be overwhelming, but it also smells so good." Radium chuckled. She almost found herself drooling over the image of some of the foods she'd smelt. Maybe Eline would treat her sometime?
Though, before she could think more on delicious foods and the like, the town seemed to open up as they came to the next staircase. "Woah... That was quick." Radium mused. The town was more like a hamlet really, to of taken them such little time to get through it. But when the path seemed clear, a large dark purple creature popped out of the ground with a wide toothy grin. "Ach!" That had to be the guardian right? Several more of it's like were popping up all over the place as well. Then well... It was time to get down and dirty so to speak. Stepping forward, Radium held forward her stick. "O-okay, Just like last time." She voiced, mostly speaking to herself. She called upon a power within that seemed to draw out some odd sparkles which danced into the air and settled over her companions. "Let's give'em all we got!"

Valoo had to chuckle at this group. They were all so kind, and perhaps a bit smarter than he'd thought previously. The small grass-type even mentioned they'd of beat up whatever Pokemon Valoo had set up to ambush them. Perhaps he'd stick around just for the company. It had been kinda lonely his entire time here, fighting the guardian's on his lonesome.
Either way, it wasn't long after the group had gained a few new companions that a Vicious looking Pokemon appeared. Valoo was dragged into his own battle as Chickpea released a nice scent that seemed to get everyone worked up, especially Daphnes who rushed forward slamming his head twice against the ghost, followed by a flurry of other attacks. Daphnes added in another Zen Headbutt for good measure, leaving the ghost for the rest of his team mates to take care of.

☆ ☆【Piper glanced over towards Radium, the Pichu seeming equally surprised as she’d been to hear that Vivace had never been in a town before. The Togepi had mentioned wandering around quite a bit during her journey to try and find a trainer, though somehow the Noivern couldn’t help but find it a little odd how she had apparently never once gone through a town or city. She nodded in agreement as Radium chipped in, saying that towns tended to be a lot busier than this strangely empty place was. Piper smiled as the Pichu went on to mention humans being everywhere, oftentimes shouting to buy stuff or check something out. And all the smells of food wafting in the air, while slightly overwhelming, was always enough to really whet one’s appetite. ”Y-Yeah, I’m s-still learning m-more about Alola after I ended up m-meeting Zoey there, b-but the smells c-coming from the m-malasada shops around there are always s-so appetizing,” she added with a nod of agreement, already feeling her mouth starting to water at the mention of the big puffy donut like treats. She’d definitely be looking forward to the next time Zoey would treat her and the team out for some, which would hopefully be sometime soon.
Turning her eyes and ears ahead of them as the road before them gradually opened up into what looked like a town square, apparently they hadn’t been walking for all that long in this particular area. Piper nodded as Radium noted how quickly they had seemingly arrived, seeing the familiar sight of the stone stairs just beyond on the other side of the square. However, upon seeing them a sense of alertness and dread came over the Noivern as her posture stiffened, eyes slitted and hackles raised as she frantically shifted her gaze to and fro across their surroundings. Something else was here… something very dangerous… She noted with unease the lack of light as they entered the heart of the town, telltale cackling from close by indicating the presence of a malevolent force. ”A-Ah!” the Noivern yelped as suddenly herself and the rest of the team were suddenly engulfed in darkness, more and more of the ghosts materializing from the darkness as more and more Pokemon pushed forth into the town’s heart. Out from the shadows rose the ghastly form of a Gengar, that signature Cheshire Cat-like grin was unmistakable for anything else. But this Gengar looked much different from the normal ones she’d seen, between the glowing ‘third eye’ on its forehead, the extra spikes it sported on its head and arms, and how its lower body seemed to be mostly sunken into the ground. Was that… actually a Mega Gengar? Goodness… from what she remembered the Mega evolved version was a lot more troublesome to deal with than the normal ones… once it got ahold of your shadow, there was no escaping it until either it or yourself ended up knocked out.
Seemed the only way they’d be able to break free of the Mega Gengar’s hold was to defeat it, but Piper felt fairly confident that they could achieve this easily enough. It was a team of five against only one of them, Mega evolved or not it would hardly stand a chance against them. The Noivern narrowed her gaze at the Gengar as Radium stepped forward, hoisting her flaming stick into the air as the same shower of yellow and white sparks from the previous fight jumped off of her and showered down onto them. ”Y-Yeah! Let’s s-show these guys w-we’re not scared of th-them!” Piper chipped in alongside the Pichu’s encouraging statement, spreading her wings and taking to the air a bit so that she hovered a bit of a ways above the group. ”W-Watch your heads d-down below!” she called out, not wanting to accidentally flatten one of her teammates with what she planned to do. As soon as she had the clearance, the Noivern whipped her wings forth, sending a couple gusts of powerful whipping winds that smacked into the Mega Gengar and battered it about in all directions. Hopefully between Radium’s aid and everyone else piling on attacks, they would be able to down this guardian as well before it had even a chance to try and strike back at them.】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【With the addition of their new companions Valoo and Natu to their group, Mogwai was more than happy to keep pressing on at Chickpea’s suggestion lest they fall too far behind the other groups. Surely they were getting closer and closer to wherever Darkrai is, the Bewear could feel it… As they trekked along, the road ahead of them began to open up into what appeared to be a square of some sort. Their journey through this town environment that seemed weirdly devoid of life seemed quite quick, the bear could already see the sight of the stone stairs leading up to the next floor just beyond where they stood. However, Mogwai couldn’t help noticing it gradually growing darker and darker the closer they got to the heart of town, no signs of any lamps, no lights coming from the windows… even the sky around here was oddly dark… Feeling his danger senses kicking in, the Bewear clenched his paws into battle-ready fists as he looked around, trying to pinpoint the source of the threat. Whatever it was, it felt very strong and very dangerous… Suddenly, shadows shot out from a nearby alleyway, engulfing the Bewear and his team in darkness and even cutting them off from Valoo and Natu. With a gleefully sinister cackle and a menacing grin, the fiend revealed itself as it rose up from the darkness around them. It was unlike anything the bear had ever seen before, he wasn’t entirely sure what to make of it based on appearances alone.
However, what he was sure of was that this thing, whatever it was, was a significant threat to himself and his comrades and they would have to defeat it in order to push forward. As per usual, Daphnes led the charge as Chickpea released a sweet yet empowering scent, the Shelgon slamming into the ghost twice as Mogwai and Dune followed up his lead with a flurry of their own blows. Hissing and snarling in pain and annoyance at being hammered, the Mega Gengar shook it off as it fought to recover and attempt to lash back at them. The initial barrage had clearly weakened it quite a bit, they just had to keep hitting it until it finally went down from here, right? Daphnes came back around and smacked into the ghost once more with a strong headbutt, and Mogwai was happy to oblige with adding in his own headbutt as he slammed his iron hard head right against the Gengar’s own head in return. Reeling from the blows, the ghost let out a rattling cry, clearly very hurt yet still managing to stay standing, if just barely. A couple more well-placed hits should be enough to take it down, hopefully before it could think to try and retaliate…】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【Focusing her attention back on the path ahead, Fianna narrowed her eyes upon noticing the gradual decrease in the amount of light that guided their way through the empty town. As they approached what appeared to be a town square of some kind, any light coming from the lamp posts, windows, and even the sky above was more or less absent now… This definitely looked pretty ominous if ever she’d seen it, and tempting as it was to coax her team to make a run for the familiar stone stairs on the other side she knew it wouldn’t be that simple. Her fur began to bristle as her danger senses kicked in, gaze skirting about their surroundings in search of where the hidden threat might be lurking.
Sure enough, as they pressed onwards through the square, in a flash Fianna took on a defensive pose as both herself and her team were suddenly surrounded by darkness, noticing other Pokemon teams in the very same situation as they entered the area. Lips curled into a snarl, the Braixen’s hand instinctively reached for her branch tucked away in her tail, prepared to brandish it. Wicked laughter filled the air around them, growing closer and closer as the source of the noise made itself known by rising up out of the shadows before them. The unmistakable grin of a Gengar was what immediately greeted them, but right away Fianna could tell that this one was far different from any normal member of its kind. The distinctive third eye plus the additional spikes decorating its back, arms, and tail… this was undoubtedly a Mega evolved Gengar, much more notoriously dangerous than its mundane kin. A quick glance down at the ground before them, Fianna noticed her own shadow and the shadow of her teammates connected to where the menacing figure of the Mega Gengar stood. Shadow Tag… a terrible ability that prevented escape unless either the enemy or yourself were to be knocked out, and on a Pokemon like a Mega Gengar it could be both incredibly annoying and dangerous… Seems their only way to push onwards was to fight this ghastly b*****d off, though she could sense that it was far tougher and much more of a threat to them than the Hypno in the swamp had been. Taking a breath, Fianna allowed her defensive posture to relax slightly, clasping her hands together close to her chest as she began to hum a soft song. Bit by bit, her melodious voice climbed higher and higher as she let the harmonic notes flow forth freely from her lips, opening her hands and unleashing a mote of bright, sparkling white light. The sprite flew forth like a comet in the air above, raining white sparks of positive energy down upon her teammates and instilling an empowering vigor in them as it flew overhead before slowly petering out and fading away. Even in the face of a dangerous foe like this, Fianna felt confident that they would be able to take it down easily enough. Hopefully before it had an opportunity to try and harm anyone… she’d be damned if she’d let it hurt Xiao Lan or any of her other teammates.】☆ ☆

Daiki beamed as Fianna went along with his plea, even saying that she was qualified for mouth to mouth. This little fox lady was quite the pleasant surprise. "Careful now. Don't tempt me to throw myself down in battle." he winked with a mischievous grin. Though, of course, he would prefer to not be sent off in a viking funeral. Not that he'd admit that. However, he did convey some of his insecurities over whether he was improving or not. Fi - bless her soul - only offered encouragement. It was truly heartwarming to the Zoroark, even as he still felt a bit at a loss. "Well, if someone like you believes in me, I'm sure I'll get more than better." he commented.
It really was a relief to find that this new area was rather clear to see in. Even if it was eerily empty. After agreeing with Fi to check out some of the buildings while they were there, Daiki split off from the group to do some searching of his own. ~~~~ Daiki returned to his group with another pokemon in tow. A very unusual looking Medicham had joined with him, and the illusion fox was left looking a bit on the confused side. "Well.... the one I checked turned out to not be completely empty." Daiki told Fianna, gesturing back at the Medicham. "I still don't appreciate our encounter, but it seems this is my new path." the medicham said directly to Daiki, then greeted the rest of the group with a respectful bow. The dark fox's ears folded back almost in shame. "Needless to say. I found something. Not really sure how useful that will be though..." he replied to Fianna, moving forward with the group. The Medicham gave the fox a disapproving look, arms crossed and lips pursed.
It seemed the fun was quickly ended as the next boss of this floor appeared, this time a gengar of some sort came charging at them. Fianna was able to use a move first, then the little fluff bat. Daiki decided it was his time to jump in as well, fur crackling with purple energy again as he jumped in. Meanwhile, Medicham stood aside, observing with a thoughtful expression.
