"Yeah, but don't they say opposites attract?" She said before she chuckled a little bit. After picking up her muffin, she took another bite before she clearly rolled her eyes at him. "Yeah. Sure." She said with a chuckle, shaking her head a bit. Shaking her head at him a bit, she then took a sip of her iced coffee again. After finishing off the muffin, she then picked up her fork and cut off a small chunk of the cheesecake and ate it. It tasted really good! Cheesecake was one of her top five favorite sweets... though it probably wasn't a good thing that she had a top 5 list! Meh, she exercised enough to not have to worry about gaining a lot of weight.

"That they do Skye." Opposites do attract and Ryan knew that first hand. His first and last relationship was proof of that and he kept this secret truth close to heart. Only his smooth voice and charming smile would let Skye know Ryan completely agreed with her cute chuckle.
A sip of his coffee later and Ryan was trying to hold back his cheeky smile as he defends his statement. "What, it's true! Are you doubting the power of super stuff, Mrs I'm not an average cute human girl." His boyish taunting a ruse to have the girl tell a little about herself no matter how it is she answered. What he was specifically looking for was whether she was an abnormal or not and if she believes in a higher power of any kind.
His golden eyes fix on her lovely golden irises, Ryan waits on her words on what this interesting stranger might say.
Skye looked at him and smirked a bit. "Oh I'm not doubting that there are more than humans out there. I'm just doubting you." She said with a devious smirk and sticking her tongue out at him. The young woman then cut off another chunk of cheesecake, slowly bringing it to her mouth and eating it. It tasted really good and she was almost tempted to go up and buy a second one, but held back. Drinking from her iced coffee again, her gaze flickered over to Ryan again, looking into his golden eyes, she gave him a warm smile.

The bird from earlier that Ryan was watching had seemed to have company flutter by and take a place at a distance; Both of them sharing the same puddle of water big enough for them both.
At the same time Ryan takes a smiling bite out of his slice of banana bread then washes it down with his coffee with calm delight. "Banana bread always reminds me of my mom." The young man commented while wiping his hands clean, then holding his hands out with the palms up for Skye. "Let me see your hands. I bet you'll believe in me as soon as you allow me to hold your hand."
Skye glanced out the window and looked at the birds that Leon was looking at. Watching them, the young woman then turned her attention to the male again, her head tilted to the side a little. Looking at Leon, the young woman then snickered a little. "Oh please. This is just an attempt to hold my hand." She teased him with a smirk before sticking her hand out, resting it on the table while she stared up at him, a curious look on her face.

The new bird was a female of the same species as the bird from earlier and it seemed as though the male bird had taken notice of its presence. While it careful hops closer to the female, Ryan blushes a little as he admits truth. "Would you be offended to be courted by someone like me?" He tried to keep his smile bold yet felt insecure asking that question to someone of Skye's caliber. A woman like her might already have a special someone in her life already anyway.
He took hold of her dainty fingers at contrast of his weathered palms and there he glances them over. "You have quite a story here and you're a lot more special than what meets the eye, yet you can hold back and be unsure of yourself at times. Your past isn't perfect nor do you think yourself as such but you strive to move forward and improve yourself." His eyes gently rise from her skin to the windows of her soul and curiously ask, "Am I close to the mark at all?"
Skye's gaze flickered up from her hands and to the male's face. Cocking her head to the side a little, she then smiled at him and chuckled softly. "I wouldn't be too offended~" She said, smirking at him a little before watching as he took her hand. Looking at him curiously, she then listed to him carefully before she chuckled softly. "Hmm. Lucky guess." She teased him slightly. "But I do suppose you were mostly right." She said, her golden eyes looking at him before she gently pulled her hand out of his and ate the last of her cheesecake. "So now what Mr. Powers of the Divine?" She said as she tilted her head at him a little.

"Psst, you can believe what you want to believe." He knew she was right, but he just didn't want to admit it. Though, she was clever and that was what was attracting him to her. He found himself liking her in his view, so for now he'd try to keep her there for as long as she'd allow. "Why don't you try reading into me by my hands if you think it's so easy. That is, unless you want to admit that divinity is cooler than artsy stuff." And an artist wouldn't want to admit that, would they? Should they?
▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Late nights at the club was exhausting for sure, but Zara had a busy day ahead of her; she had to turn in her things to officially complete her quitting her previous job in The Finer Things, then she had to stop by the grocery store and pick up a few things from the list her brother left her. She was hoping in squeeze in some time to stop by her best friend after being away from each other for so long! But Zara made a detour to Moonbuck's Cafe. She needed to be there. She had to get coffee more than she had to run her errands. The exhaustion had followed her all the way to the morning!
Stepping into the Cafe was absolute bliss. The smell of sugar glazed pastries and black coffee was almost as divine as the god's nectars and wines. It was damn near an aphrodisiac to the little siren. Zara stepped in line gladly. Rocking back and forth on her toes and heels, impatient to order a cup of ice coffee and a slice of cheesecake. Fortunately, the wait wasn't too long. Within a matter of minutes, she was in front of the cashier, ordering her food, and receiving it not too much later.
Now she just had to decide whether or not she was going to eat in or on the go...
The doors to the cafe opened up as Dylan stepped in, his emerald colored eyes scanning the place and the people, noticing there weren't that many people there today and that was quite good for him. Normally he was very social and outgoing but he had a strange couple of days and they weren't so good. His emotions were all jumbled up but today he felt like coffee so he came came here. He made his way over to the counter and ordered some coffee. He stood there patiently as he waited, his arms crossed over his chest as he thought about what plans he had for the day and also waited for his morning drink.

"Finally~!" Laily said pleasantly as she stretched, walking down the walkways of Cerise. This city sure was nice! It was definitely a lot different from France! She got a killer fever as soon as she got here, though, so she couldn't really explore much. She would've gone with Jean, but he went off somewhere else before she could get ready, so whatever. Man, she needs to check her schedule for her job and figure out when she has to perform! She studied the routine her boss sent her in her downtime, so she should be okay... It'll be a lot like what she used to do for Jean during his drug deals, except this time she'll be singing and dancing. It's definitely gonna be fun, though! She hasn't even stepped in the damn place, and she's excited about it! Laily also got the pictures of her coworkers, and while it was always intimidating to start at a new job with a bunch of gorgeous people, she was still really enthusiastic! How could someone say no to new things?
Laily stepped into Moonbucks, looking around for some nice grub to eat since Jean didn't, well, wouldn't make her anything for breakfast. Taking a quick look-over of the large menu sign, she quickly decided she wanted some sweets. And the cake was just callin' her name right now! She went up to the counter and ordered a vanilla cupcake, red velvet cake slice, and a cup of iced coffee. Her food came soon after she finished paying, and as she was looking to sit down somewhere, she saw a girl who she was pretty sure she recognized. Was she from one of the pictures? Laily was trying to not make it look obvious, but her curiosity ended up getting the best of her; she stared at her for a few seconds before she approached her. "Quick question: Do ya work at the Captain's Deck?" It certainly would be weird if this actually was just a random woman, but eh, she didn't really care. It'd be nice to know someone who could help her around town!

Everyone else was in and out the cafe for the most part. The siren placed her iced coffee and cheesecake down on the table, pulled out her cell, and had herself a seat, crossing her legs, posture flawless. She skimmed through her music as she nonchalantly sipped on her coffee. Zara needed a new song for her next performance in The Captain's Deck. She wasn't too sure yet what she was going for this time. Maybe something a little less dominating like the one she had done yesterday? Seeing the faces Rigel made was fun and all, but it just wasn't her preference at the end. She hummed to herself and tilted her head side to side as she thought it over.
"Quick question -" Zara's ocean blue eyes darted up from her cell to whomever it was that stood before her. The siren hadn't quite picked up on the fact that she's seen this woman before. Her mind was still on her music and upcoming performance. Hearing her ask if she happened to work in the Captain's Deck hadn't really helped her much on noticing either. She just assumed the woman watched her perform before. Zara nodded and ran her fingers through her hair, sweeping away stray platinum blond hairs from her face. "I do." She responded with a small smile.

After being up for about almost two hours, a blonde haired looked up at the cafe she had just happened to be at before. She couldn't help but think to herself that maybe being right back at Moonbucks Cafe was not a coincidence at all. Taking a deep breath in and then exhaling, Alyssa, opened up one of the doors that lead into the cafe and stepped right inside. Looking around, the young Water Elemental let a small smile grace her fair features as she walked up to the counter to order herself a drink, which happened to be a Blueberry Green Tea, which always seem to get her moving. Once she had placed her order, the brown eyed woman couldn't help but glance at a guy, with a rich, deep brown colored hair as well as his piercing green eyes. If the saying looks could kill, well then definitely his looks could kill you with one glance.

Dylan seemed to be spaced out as he stared at the floor before snapping out of it after a few seconds and turning his gaze to the blonde haired woman who seemed to be looking at him. He was a bit embarassed that she noticed him spacing out and gave her a soft smile. "Sorry sorta spaced out there hehe." He said to her as his eyes scanned all her facial features. She was quite pretty. "I dont think I've ever seen you around." He said to her as his eyes now looked into her's with a gentle smile on his lips.
