Illiana's face fell and she released the toy sword. She puckered her bottom lip and it wobbled slightly as tearsr filled her eyes. She had the perfect puppy face on. "Please? Toy?" She settled on her knees and a single tear escaped down her cheek.

"No" He said as he looked at her daughter through narrowed eyes. He set the sword up on a high shelf and said "Hitting is bad. You don't want to hurt your poor father, do you?"

Illiana began giggling. "Bad! Bad! Papa bad?" She jumped up, falling on her butt for a moment. She immediately got right back up and climbed in the box. She covered her eyes and ducked. "Papa no find!"

"Careful you" Jay said with a grin as he looked around and say "Now where did Illiana go?" He said as he searched around, mock-looking around for her. "I guess she's not here" Jay said with a shrug as he got up and began to head for the door, a smirk on his face.

Illiana peeked out and giggled. She watched her dad move toward the door. She bounced up. "Papa!" As she jumped up, she slipped and fell in the toy box. She blinked in surprise and stared at the toys around her. Some were broken and some weren't. She looked up and then back down at the toys. She finally looked at her dad. "Oops?"

"Oops is right" He said as he turned back and picked up Illiana out of the toybox and closed the lid. "It was an accident" Jay said with a smile as he gave her a pat on the diaper, mock-punishing her and said "No more hiding from daddy now"

Pale hadn't been so much taking a nap as she had just been in a very, very deep sleep. Jay had even been able to move her on the couch without disturbing her at all. But after sleeping for almost four hours she awoke, with her stomach growling. Getting up she stumbled to the kitchen.
A few minutes and five muffins later, she pushed open the door to the nursery gently where she had heard Jay and Illiana. Seeing him play with her she grinned and leaned slightly into the crib "What'd I miss?"

"It seems out daughter has a nasty tendency to pick up things and hit her poor father with them. Then hide from him and make him a nervous wreck. Isn't that right?" He said, looking to her daughter and picking her up and began to bounce her lightly on his knee.

"Sounds like when we first hooked up." Pale remarked, smiling the cocking an eyebrow "Aw, but you're adorable." she picked her up and bounced her some on her hip "Has she had anything to eat?"

Jay laughed and passed the child over to Pale and smirked, "It does" as he then directed his attention back to Pale and said "No, she just woke up and started crawling all over the place. I went to play with her"

"And drove you nuts." laughing, she patted her belly, which had yet to show anything "Wonder how the two will get along, especially if they can make dopplegagnegrs like that. I need to know more about chakra."

"I have one book that's incredibly outdated...it gives an incredibly vague discription, so I don't know how reliable it is" Jay said with a frown as he looked at her daughter and said "I'm sure they'll get alone fine. Should we begin to think up names?"

"Well, he can't know the gender yet, so I think maybe we still have some time for that." she grinned, kissed Illiana's forehead and sat her back down "but if you'd like. We should get Rivven here. Aes was saying that the two of them may be able to build the bar back up anyways."

"why rivven?" He asked. Not that he had anything against the guy, but he didn't see how he could solve the problem at hand. "And I'm sure the bar will be rebuilt in due time. We also need to mend Ultima's garden...."

"Not to mention Aes's house. I wanted to talk to Rivven because he usese Chakra, and Aes says that he thinks he might be able to duplicate what Reaper was capable of building because of that."
