[Jan, Del, Sperra] [At Camp] [Interacting with Eros and Dido] Delah had gotten plenty of sleep in the balloon and was used to waking up early. Not as used to the wilderness so much, but the twins had on occasion ended up out there. She was eating a bit of the food when she looked up at the man saying something about them all dying. "Calm down." she said, standing up and walking over to him, gingerly putting a hand on his shoulder, "What are you talking about?" she asked, noticing the piece of paper in the boy's hands. "Whats that, another flyer?"Sperra did okay in the wild, but the aura of unease unsettled her sleep. The manetric tossed and turned in her sleep, murmuring on the wings of dark and frightening dreams. Jan was also awake, though not really. He was sort of in that blissful half asleep phase where everything was beautiful. He smiled down at Dido and held out a hand, wiggling his fingers invitingly. "Hello pretty skitty" the boy said, smiling sleepily at the pokemon.

Vana had slept well curled up with keahi in her arms, after they ate dinner. She blinked warily as she got woken up by yelling.
Crash on purpose, and leave us all to die, Eros's words were ringing in her ears. She was RIGHT! Those pidgies were working for the feminists! This was a feminist trap! Were they on to her is that why she had been targeted? She wished Rao was here, he was never fooled so easily. He all ways seemed to know what to do.
"Then we survive Eros!" She said with determination. "We wont play their game!" Vana reached into her bag and grab out a small compact mirror, hair brush a comb and some moisturizer. This desert air was starting to dry out her skin. Looking at the small mirror she started to fix her hair.

Zak had curled up against Phrixus when the sun went down. The male fell asleep quickly, exhausted from all the work they had done that day. As the fire went out Phrixus became the perfect heater keeping the Zak warm through the chilly night.
The boy woke to a bit of commotion, yet he didn't feel like getting up yet. Phrixus had also woke, the houndoom got up and stretched leaving the boy's side for a while as he went to see what was going on. It was then when his heater left when Zak finally arose from his slumber rubbing his eyes. "Phrixus were are you going?" the male asked still half asleep.

Eros flinched away from the hand on his shoulder, but he shook the scrap of paper in the girl's face. "It's not a flyer, it's... a journal entry, or something. Same paper as the flyers, maybe. There's one damning piece of evidence. Another -- it just happens to be here, right where we've crashed, too. This couldn't possibly be a coincidence!" His throat was going dry, and his voice rising in pitch as he went on. Upon hearing Vana's words, the boy gave an agitated nod of his head. "Thank you, Miss Vana, for hearing me out. I only hope the captain and his Pokemon haven't already stolen away in the night. No doubt they have their own escape route in place." Eros' s legs trembled, and he dropped to sit in the grassy sand, still clutching the all-important evidence in his hand. Terror was exhausting. Relatively unperturbed, though a bit on-edge in sympathy with her human's distress, Dido spared a moment to investigate the boy beckoning to her. She purred at his compliment and leaned her head in for a pat. At least someone here knew how to treat a lady.

Vana flopped down next to Eros as Keai hopped about in the sand. "So anyone got an idea of what we should do next?" She said, finishing her hair and resting the mirror and brush in her lap as she started to put the cream on her hands so they wouldn't be as dry. "Anyone need a brush or mirror or something like that?" She asked just because they were stuck in the desert didn't mean they couldn't look nice.

With: CadenceCara pulled out her sleeping bag and some food and water for herself and Spirit from her pack, after grabbing some meat that the group had gathered, and settled in a section of the shelter near the fire. She knew they would come in handy. The two ate then got comfy and drifted off to sleep together in the comfort of the sleeping bag. ---------------------------------- The morning came too quickly and the duo woke along with the rest. It was soon they too noticed the scribbled note and wondered what it was. After reading it, Cara had a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. She rolled up her sleeping bag and returned it to her pack then got some berries for breakfast, for both herself and Spirit. They sat down and started to eat when Cadence and Amaryllis joined them and started to speak. Cara nodded. "Agreed. The whole thing has made my stomach sink. I can't remember everything either. I remember some people, and faces...and certain events but that's all." She said while stroking Spirit's head and eating some berries. "The whole thing stinks of conspiracy...and bad intentions." She then looked at Spirit. "I don't want you going to far from me either Spirit. Arceus only knows what could happen if you did." Spirit hummed back. "Brraava." She agreed whole-heartedly. She was going to stick to Cara's side like sap to a tree. This whole situation stunk like a Muk hanging out with a Skuntank. She looked at Amaryllis and knew that the two of them felt the same way.

"Thank you again, Miss Vana. The use of a hairbrush would be most appreciated." At least he could die pretty, he thought glumly. But brushing his hair calmed him somewhat. "We still don't know if the captain's still here. If he's not..." Eros sighed and shook his head. Imminent doom or no, the boy was almost certainly the least self-sufficient of the party.

____________C h . 9 : Mystery
The Captain paraded out from the forest of palm trees. It turns out he hadn't abandoned them after all.
He spoke to those who were already up. "Wake up your fellow travelers! We have to get a move on if we are to make an sort of progress today. I have pinpointed the ship's direction to be here."
He brought out the map again and pointed to a location where the dotted lines met with the mountains.
"We have to make it to that location by nightfall. Pack all your belongings because we aren't coming back! Any questions before we set out?"
(( This chapter will not have a ending date. Instead, it will end when all events have been triggered by dice rolling. Roll 1 ten-sided die with your posts. A roll of 10 means something will happen. Quote me. ))
If you would like to be added to the quote list for updates, let me know by quoting me in the main thread.

"You are quite welcome, Eros." She said offering the small mirror as well in case he wanted to check that his hair was brushed to his satisfaction. "Oh I also have some skin cream of anyone needs a bit, we don't want to have chapped hands!" She frowned when the captain came back, was he really trying to help or was he leading them to their deaths. She all ready had all her stuff with her and looked around warily, waiting for someone to show him the flier and demand answers.

Katori had returned to the camp but he hadn't slept all that well, he'd kept Danae inside her Pokeball for safety but had let her out in the earl hours, since waking early was a habit for him. He blinked sleep out of his eyes and just stared at the captain "ye gotta be kiddin me, we put so much work in for jus' one night of shelter?...... "I take it yer pokemon found the ship for ya?, what about the pidgey?" he asked, though his voice was quieter than he might have liked.
He sighed, resigned to a day of trekking as he put his roll back in his pack and made sure Danae had her breakfast. What more could go wrong on this trip? .. he was seriously regretting he'd come but ... couldn't be helped now, might as well get on with it.

Anise was just getting up when the shouting started about how a crash like this had started before and they were all doomed to die. Oki was instantly on his feet and alert, and Anise was jolted into wakefulness as well. But a moment's though found the information strange and slightly suspicious. What were the chances that a bit of a note or journal or whatever with that exact information would just happen to find its way to their camp? Was there anything to prove that it was real and not some horrible prank? Then again, the flier advertising this trip had arrived mysteriously as well...
Before she could decide what she thought of this news, the Captain returned. It seemed he'd been doing something since they landed, and had found the ship. Having someplace to go was a help, though Anise only hoped they could find food and shelter when they got there. She didn't have much hope that anything of the ship would be usable. Still, she was used to traveling, and it only took her a moment or two to gather her things and be ready to depart.

Blaire knelt down to her trainer, who was still sprawled entirely un-lady-like across the floor and began to poke her gently. [Milady. Milady, it is time to move on.]
Erika got up slowly, her hand clutching her head. "Oh, MAN, I drank way too much yesterday. My ********' head..." She looked bleary-eyed over at the scyther. "What's up, Blaire?" The scyther pointed over in the direction of the packing trainers.
The officer got to her feet with no small amount of curses and stretched lazily.

Cai had slept restlessly at best. His hopes to have worked himeelf into exhaustion were dashed as worry after worry chased each other in desperate circles through his mind. Cai had a hard enough time sleeping in the quiet calm of his ow n home so it wasn't much of a surprise, but still. He didn't hope for much.
The arrival of dawn and eventually the awakening of the others seemed to take forever and by the time people were fussi g over the note, Cai was ready to snap. His face wore a pinched irritable look as he checked his bags for anything missing and tied his boots back on his feet. The sooner they left the better.

Cara was very wary of their 'Captain', but she knew that they had to get out of there. She got up and packed up the rest of her things. "Guess we better stay with the group." She said to Cadence and headed over to the rest of the group. She started off on the trek which she figured would be long after she checked out the map. "Stay close Spirit." She whispered to her Vibrava.
Spirit sat on Cara's head and buzzed back an affirmative. Her human companion didn't have to tell her twice. Something about this whole situation stunk majorly of trouble.
