I heard it from playthedamncard on livejournal, though I originally saw the rumor on DeviantART from someone who also happens to be a member of that community.
EDIT: Does anyone else see those obnoxious ones?

According to Wikipedia:
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal is an upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga series which will begin airing on TV Tokyo in Spring 2011, following the broadcast of 5D's. The story will revolve around a boy named Yƫma Tsukumo who has a chance encounter with a spirit named Astral. The series was revealed in the February issue of V Jump magazine, with further details to be announced at the Japanese encore screening of Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time on February 20, 2011.
Zip info on how it relates into YGO at all, unless Astral means something to anyone else here?

I have no idea. Maybe it's a dragon. Yu-Gi-Oh tends to have a thing with dragons.

I meant if Astral was a character/figure met in the original or one of the other two spin off series. I mean this description mentions NOTHING about card games, the obvious link. xd

Maybe...I'm now trying to think of a tagline that beats "card games on motorcycles!"
Card games on a blimp? Nope...already did it.
Card games on a helicopter? Nah...too dangerous.
Card games in bumper boats? Hmm...I like it, I could go somewhere with that.

@JK: Yeah, I think I'm in a situation of figuring out what I want in relationships as well. I'll throw implausible characters together in writing if the relationship could have some interest based on their personalities (like Rishid and Shizuka; they never once speak, yet their personalities offer a very interesting reflection of each other), but overall I try to have some basis from the canon series for most of my pairings. Haha, true. Kaiba would definitely have to get over some of his grudges. I think as he gets older and matures, and starts getting over Gouzaburo more and more, he'll slowly be able to do that, at least with Yuugi... not so sure about like... Jounouchi and Pegasus. XD But then again, he might not even realize/remember that Shizuka is Jounouchi's sister, she's so insignificant to him. Oh, curse that vast population of child molesters. XD You don't think they're speeches? I think back on Yami Yuugi and just get a number of memories, like his speech to Zork, Dartz, Yami Malik... he just always ends his big battles with how he had been losing hope, but then he realized the strength his friends give him, and that without that strength, the villain has no chance of winning, but he always ends up adding a twist to it depending on the situation. Granted, they're not long, thought-out speeches, but they're at least as intense as a good portion of Anzu's and Jounouchi's, sometimes even more so I think. Haha, and don't even get me started on how he can speak Japanese. XD I've been trying to fill that plot hole in for the sake of my own sanity for years. Dang girl, and now you just got me wanting to read angry, hot Puppyshipping fics. XD But I agree; it's a lot easier to turn hate into passion than indifference into... um, anything relating to love or sex. @The new series: Damn, and I was just gonna finally get started on Genex. XD I've recently gotten into a Yuugiou kick again, so I've been watching the first series now that I can find it subtitled, and I watched the Pyramid of Light movie in Japanese. So I was planning on finishing the first series (which I am very much enjoying, by the way; green-haired Kaiba is actually quite adorable when voiced and animated), then watch Capsule Monsters, then the Yuugiou Special, then all of Genex, theeeeen 5D's, and suddenly there's a new one coming? XD Flippin' frick. As for Astral, the only reference I can think of is a couple cards that have Astral in their names, like Astral Barrier. Also, found a picture of Yuuma. I like his name, but he's kind of fugly. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Yuma_TsukumoApparently he's a badass? I can totally see the love child thing going on though, especially with Yuusei. The spirit thing gives me hope that this will be a more supernatural series like the original, rather than a technology-focused like Genex and 5D's. And as a final note, I would just like to say that Zexal is an absolutely fantastic name. It sounds like someone saying "Sex All" with a German accent, which makes me think of Siegfried. I wonder if he'll be in the series, sexin' it up? cool

@Hawk - Actually underwater dueling sounds freaking awesome. Galactic not so much.
@Kits - I feel my pairings usually have at least some basis...trying to think through everything I slash and see if I've ever come up with anything completely implausible. I'm pretty sure not.
I'm pretty sure Kaiba isn't quite that oblivious, even though he'd probably rather pretend to be than admit to any sort of acknowledgment of Jounouchi, hehe. He probably would never be able to forgive Pegasus, however if he gets over his childish grudges and grows up, he might find it harder to hold onto reasons to bash Jou..maybe. Hahaha.
Well, I guess by speech I meant a coherent thought that wasn't 3 sentences on repeat over and over again. I mean if you wrote the same sentence over and over again for ten pages you still wouldn't be allowed to call it a paper, that's how I feel about Yami's speeches. They are mundane, repetitive, and usually parroting something someone else said earlier. If I was going to hold something against Yami, it'd be his lack of originality and creative thought. The guy when you think about it is BORING! Which is why my liking of him faded over the years. I realized what I liked about him was that he was talented and perfect, but it just wasn't enough after a time period. I needed more.
Maybe the shadow realm was the birth place of the Rosetta Stone? After that just pick up a Greek - Japanese dictionary and...hmm, no, no that just isn't working for me either. Guess I'll have to keep thinking on that.
Hahahaha, for some reason I have the weirdest time imagining you saying "dang girl," not that I know what you sound like, but the imaginary voice I inserted for you in my head didn't correlate with that. xd Yea if you find any hot angry puppyshipping fics please let me know. I mean half of why most of the fics are so implausible is because the fanbase apparently only wants sappy romance. Do either of those characters suggest sappy romance to you? stressed
@The new series - Ok I'd been pronouncing Zexal with a hard emphasis on the Z (because I'm like that), guess that's ruined for me now, how can I resist sex all? Yup apparently it will never end, I would be more intrigued if it was more supernatural rather than techno based as well.
The pic is kind of hard for me to decide if I think he's ugly or not, but I definitely see Yuugi (either) in the hair, Yuusei in the coloring and possibly Jaden in the face. Or maybe I'm just nuts. rofl

@Hawk: I like bad boy types, but somehow that face just says to me that he's gonna be more like the... obnoxious troublemaker who does stupid things like pulling girls' hair, rather than the cool bad boy who starts mini gangs in school and has a bunch of little adolescent henchmen. Though I prefer my bad boys to be kinda between those two extremes (like Jounouchi and Honda), I definitely prefer the latter one over the former.
@JK: Yeah, I guess when I think back on my pairings, they all at least have a tiny basis as well, either from interaction or from plausibility based on personality.
True enough. XD He probably saw Shizuka, wondered who the hell this person on his blimp was who he neither recognized nor was a finalist, did some research/watched hidden cameras like a creeper, realized it was Jounouchi's sister, decided he would hate her because of that, then went on pretending like he didn't know who she was at all and didn't care. I <3 U Kaiba.
Ah, I see. XD Yes, I agree that if we're going to be picky with what is classified as a speech, Yami Yuugi's probably wouldn't make the cut. His are very copy/paste. He wasn't boring in the early manga and first series though. I miss when he was like that. XP
I just theorize that when Yami Yuugi entered Yuugi's mind, he just gained all the other's memories, including his language abilities. Your theory sounds more fun though. XD
Ehhh, I probably do sound weird saying it, maybe because I'm too white and nerdy. Either way, 'dang girl' is not something I say often. I tend to just throw random accents into my everyday speaking, including gansta, southern, German, Japanese, Scottish, mafia... I dunno why, just something I do. XD
And I'll let you know if I do. =D It's true, most Puppyshipping fics are super sappy, which just does not work. I could potentially see Jounouchi being in a sappy romance... but it would have to be with someone very specific, who would bring all the sappiness out of him... like maybe Yuugi. And even then, it would only be mildly sappy. But Kaiba? No way. And Jounouchi with Kaiba? No way in hell. I either like those two in comic situations (stuck together, fighting, then slowly realizing they don't completely hate each other), or angry, hot passion stuff.
Heeeeh, I almost always pronounce new words I'm not sure how to pronounce with an emphasis on the second syllable (if it's a two-syllable word), so a hard emphasis on the first part didn't even occur to me, and I automatically thought of it as "Zex All." XD It probably is pronounced more like what you thought though, albeit I prefer mine. <3
Yeah, I see that too. Maybe like... the face a combination of Yuugi and Juudai, then the hair a combination of Yuugi and Yuusei, though in both cases Yuugi isn't as emphasized as the other two.

I'm definitely not so much into bad boys as assholes...and yes that basically does explain every single problem I have with my life. xd
HAHA! I'm loving the image of Kaiba watching Shizuka on hidden camera like a creeper, he SO would. And in my head he's watching her shower and is just totally technical and oblivious. *pets silly Seto*
Oh yea I loved him when he was insane and homicidal. Ahh, that was definitely my favorite Yami (well Yami Yuugi, Yami Bakura is ALWAYS my favorite Yami... xd )
Your theory makes so much sense, aww, I can't reject it now. crying
Haha, darn it now the Weird Al song is in my head, haha. You do come off as pretty white and nerdy though, it's ok I do it sometimes to and it annoys me. Mostly because I'm always afraid there is something hereditary applicable about the whole black people and their screwed up ebonics speak. I mean my dad has never spoken like that so hopefully no, it just bothers me to no end. Shizzle is not a word. Nothing should ever be shizzled. sweatdrop
Yea I could see Jou being sappy with, well ok weirdly someone like his sister but NOT his sister. Seto probably couldn't be sappy with anyone, it'd make him uncomfortable. But yes, they definitely wouldn't be sappy together.
I prefer yours too, though I don't dislike mine, and I never thought about it but yea, I realize I tend to stress the first syllable. Which is probably why I have so many problems with EVERYTHING because iambic has been the common theme since the beginning of time apparently. Hmm...good to know. Maybe now that I'm aware that's what I'm doing I can work on that. stressed
Yea I agree with that, but in the end it's still just one more thing I don't have time for. xd

Oh JK. XD You and your assholes.
OMG he so would! He'd watch anyone in the shower to help his paranoia of people always plotting against him or whatever, but would never think about it perversely, the loser! Ghh, poor Shizuka. The first man to see her naked was Kaiba, and he didn't even care!! Come to think of it... Kaiba was probably the first man to see about half the world naked, his security cameras are so amazing.
I'm sorry my theory makes more sense. Yours is still more fun though. razz
Haha, I suppose you do come off as pretty white and nerdy as well. XD I will admit that before I knew your race, though I had never specifically questioned or thought about it, my mental image of you was white. It's interesting how we associate races with things like that though; nerds are white, gangstas are black, etc. etc. Silly society. Hm, I have no idea if that way of speaking could be hereditary or not. I mean, you do notice that African countries tend to have similar-sounding languages, Asian countries tend to have more high pitched languages, a lot of European languages are similar... it could just be specific ways of talking and moving your mouth are easier to different races. Ooor it could just be how we're socialized. Or maybe a combination of both. I always like trying to figure this kind of stuff out, but I never actually come up with an answer. XD
Haha, I get what you mean. Someone with Shizuka's personality, but not Shizuka herself. Yeah, I can see that.
I think yours sounds better and is easier to say, but mine is more awesome because of the play on words it makes. Really? I always thought I had problems because it seems like the first syllable is stressed more often. Maybe I'm just noticing the times I'm wrong more than when I'm right though. XD
Exactly.

Haha, boy don't I know it. xd
Haha my...I have a picture drawn for me of me and Seto in the shower (yea it's weird but awesome) and he's all awkward and I'm being a pervert. So fitting.
Well, I guess as long as I'm fun... razz
Haha, I tend to think of myself as white (or mixed) anyhow. Because it's true, as far as types go I don't necessarily fit into my race. As for languages it's proximal influences and conquest, you can actually trace those roots and make sense of why those are the way they are. I mean the Vikings conquered most of Europe, and it mixes in a lot of those languages. I believe the Japan and China also have traceable roots in writing systems, languages etc. The way you move your mouth definitely has a lot to do with it as well. I mean part of the shift form Middle English to Early Modern English was "the great vowel shift," which changed the placement of your tongue and where the emphasis was put on diphthongs and the like. Actually Middle English probably wouldn't sound much like Early Modern, or much of the surrounding European languages. So yea, languages I understand, and those I can actively get a textbook and trace the roots of. Cultural practices, particularly modern cultural practices, those baffle me. I mean there is no evolutionary advantage (and in fact there is probably a great disadvantage) to being "gangster." Gangster, ebonics, etc are - for as much as it sucks - a large part of why I'll be ashamed of my own race. And as much as being prejudiced against for being "black" hurts, I sometimes get it. I mean people aren't all the same, but stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason, there are basis of truth in them. I mean I like being an individual and not a complete victim of types, and there's nothing I love more than the fact that most people can't just look at me and know what race I am. While I'm too dark to be white, my features are nonetheless more Caucasian than anything else - of what I have in me, now it's been argued they are more representative of ethnicities I am 0% of, another matter entirely.
I think we definitely notice the times we are wrong more than when we are right. And there is (to my current knowledge) not necessarily a point to words more likely be stressed on the second syllable, just because of the prevalence of iambs in literature. It's just a possible theory, that I'll look into perhaps if I ever have free time again. sweatdrop

That is awesome. You should totally scan this shower Kaiba picture. =D
Mm, that's true. I do know that Japan was mainly influenced by China and Korea in its development, though I'm not sure about how other Asian countries influenced each other. It's possible though we've even mildly evolved to more easily speak the languages of our ancestors. As for cultural practices, I don't know. I think there's a lot of things people get involved in that isn't intelligent or interesting. I mean, yes, gangster is a black stereotype, but is it really worth it to be ashamed of them because you happen to have ties in race? I mean, if anything, I'm more ashamed that they're fellow people. XD;; But then I feel the same way about, like rednecks. They're mostly white, but it's not like all white people are rednecks. And they're embarrassing, but then overall, I guess being gangster or redneck or whatever, it's still a person's choice and what makes them happy, so even if it's something embarrassing, well, it's not the end of the world. I'd rather they have the right to be how they want to be. But anyway, I think most people worth knowing don't automatically assume any black person is gangster or any white person is redneck; people understand that that's only a minority of a population.
Ah yes, free time. I remember that.
