Vi shook violently. Her pinpoint eyes trembled. She held onto Cedrick like her life depended on it. "W-What is happening to me..." She spoke with her voice shaking. A tear ran down her cheek. She didn't want to fall into the madness. "Why is this happening to me! Why just why! I-I cant t-take it!" Vi shook even more violently. She reached into her pocket and grabbed her headache medication. She had a headache from the things going on in her head. W-What is happening? I-I cant take it. I-- I need to fight back. Vi thought as her body went limp for a second. She began shaking violently after a few seconds.

~~~~Inside Vi's head~~~~

Vi walked around with water splashing at her feet. This place looked like the domain just more water. Creatures began to rise around her. "Welcome Vi." Vi looked at the creature that spoke. "H-How do you know my name?" Vi asked. "I'm you." The creature said. "I'm you just insane." The creature grinned. "Why am I here?" Vi asked the creature that was supposedly her. "I'm being set free." Vi's eyes became pinpoint in her mind. "What do you mean 'set free'?" Vi asked. "You are me, as we are here I have the power to take over. I would like one good reason why I should not take over?" The creature said to Vi. "This is my body, I am the true Vi. If you are set free knowing it you would kill all of my friends and... And Cedrick...."The creature cut vi off. "Who is Cedrick?" Cedrick... is my boyish friend. Please I care about them, maybe we can come to an agreement. I use you only when needed." The creature nodded. " Very well Vi, very well..."

Vi came back to her senses. Her body stopped shaking. her eyes returned back to normal. She hugged Cedrick.

Vi nodded.'Y-Yeah, I'm alright."She smiled. She sighed and tightened her glove. "You are wondering what happened to me huh? Well, I met my insanity. It wanted to take over. We spoke and let me stay sane, only coming out when needed most." She sighed. It was only because of Cedrick could she stay sane."My insanity allowed me to stay sane only because of you. It let me stay because I have you."She smiled and kissed him on the cheek.

Illudere let out a laugh as the girl collapsed. A broad maniacal grin spreading across his face as she desperately struggled to stay in control. He offered no pursuit as her weapon partner began to carry her away , for in his mind he had already won.

He knew that the nature of madness was one that could not be compromised with. By allowing her inner insanity to have a degree of freedom, she had opened up a channel for that madness to feed and grow.

"Flee little boy!"

He called out, heckling Cedrick

"And tell your little girlfriend when she wakes up to look me up anytime, she has a delicious taint of madness about her"

With his last jeer he dropped his guard allowing the full force of his wavelength to become apparent, laughing at the release.

Cedrick looked at Xyeek "There a 'guy' up ahead who spilling madness." Cedrick said then looked at Vi awake in his arms. "He's was really affecting Vi, and I think me as well." He then heard the guy taunting him "I want to kill him here and now." Cedrick said anger growing him. Fido next to him trying to calm him down.

Cedrick took a deep breath, feeling better. He looked up at Xyeek "Make sure it hurts, I want to hear screams of pain and terror leave his body." Cedrick said.

Vi felt stiff. "Nobody is hurting anyone. Nobody is dieing." Vi said. She touched her feet to the ground. "Grey blood.. The mix of black for madness and white for bravery. I control my madness. My sanity. I allow for my sanity to slip. " Vi grinned walking to illduere and reapeating herself. "I may have madness but It doesn't affect me as It would a black or normal blooded person. I fight It unlike others. I won't fall for It. I couldn't take It because you twisted words and got into my head." Vi spoke calmly. "Illudere, you can't say what is going to happen with someones madness."

"Then educate us." Cedrick said finding his calm. "Tell us about madness if seem to be a self-appointed expert"

"So let me ask you this miss Vi, if this is your first real scrap with your madness, how is it that you can truly comprehend the nature of it? More importantly, how can you be so sure that the real you is actually in control as we speak."

His demeanour remained calm and friendly, and he flashed another smile, as he shifted his weight back and forth, glancing up for a moment in thought before returning his attentions to the students arrayed before him.

"...If you were insane, would you know? What makes you so sure that this dear Vironica is not the one who is supposed to be in control? How do you know that the name you were born with isn't the nature you were meant to have? There is nothing concrete in this world, there is no good, there is no evil. There is just the labels that we place on things."

He turned away from the girl momentarily, shifting his gaze to meet Cedrick's

"... as for you my friend, it is much easier to show than to tell."

He held out his hand invitingly, palm upwards.

"Take my hand, and I'll show you the nature of madness, some common themes, my own personal demons... and if you're lucky, it will be a delightfully delicious voyage of self-discovery, as you confront your own."
