Patience finally paid off, as Dani spotted the Snitch, and realized the race was already on. Leaning forward, Dani coaxed speed from her mount, as she knew she needed to play catch up if she was to hope to compete with the older and more experienced Ravenclaw Seeker.

⊗⊗⊗⊗⊗ Benjamin caught the pass from Dylan, only to see his girlfriend out of the corner of his eyes. He pulled the back slightly to get her to miss and truth be told, she was rather close. Had she been a half-inch faster, she would've gotten, and that almost worried him. He couldn't allow himself to have it stolen by his girlfriend because he never was going to hear the end of that one.

Eli sent another Bludger in her general direction, and Dani was glad his shot wasn't as true this time. 'Where the hell are our Beaters?' wondered Dani, more than a little angrily. Getting hit was part of the game, this she got, but she would have liked somebody running interference on her behalf 'What happened? They bugger off to the Three Broomsticks for butterbeers and not tell anyone?'
Hunkering down, low over her broomstick, hoping to coax more speed from her mount, Dani hurried toward the Snitch, hoping her charge would be good for something.
