Oh! Yes she almost forgot! "Ah! Yes!" Astra said hurriedly, her wings humming quietly as she flew of the ground so her arms were equal with Yuki's. She took his hands and..stared at them for a few moments. ...How was she supposed to dance again? She looked around at the other dances, then got..some sort of idea  GIFSoupSo she tried to swing Yuki around Until she heard Charlie screaming, and saw a trash can was on fire, and broke away from Yuki. "W-water! We need some water!"

Julian didn't need to be telepathic to know what was going on in Lumi's head, nor did he need to be psychic to know what she would do. And by Jack he wasn't going to let her. For all he knew, she'd run off and go straight to her room and he... he really didn't want that.
Her hand was still in his when she tried to flee and he just didn't let go. He was turned away from Tahki for the moment, since Lumi had effectively spun him around in her attempt to run and get his friend more punch, he wasn't even sure Lumi saw the look of pleading to stay on his face. It was half-covered by the mask and all. But he did tug on her hand, just enough to show it was a suggestion, not enough to pull her back.
He'd made his point pretty clear to his date, but he wasn't going to force it, so he slipped his hand from hers and slowly turned away, back to Tahki.
"Did you lose someone?" he asked, tilting his head and frowning a bit. He did smile again, though, offering Tahki his handkerchief again, to clean herself off.
"I really am sorry... How... How have you been?" It was a sudden, startling realization that caused his eyes to widen ever so slightly. Tahki... she hadn't seemed to have changed. She was still as soft-spoken as ever. This school had changed him so much in such a short time and yet... she seemed the same. Besides being at a dance of all things. He couldn't help but wonder how she had been immune. Or maybe... what had been happening at the school and on its "field trips" had the opposite effect on her.

Was it just him, or did Hel seem... bitter? He frowned slightly, but continued dancing. Silent. His head spun a bit, perhaps starting to feel fatigue from all the dancing he had done already, or from the feeling that something was amiss. He felt heavier the longer it went on. That euphoria was wearing off. The ghoul in his arms was not his ghoulfriend. He'd ended that only mere days before hand. Maybe in the end, he was much more rash than Hel herself. He stopped as she pulled back. Hel pulled back her mask, and reflecting her actions he did the same with the half mask he had been sporting, pushing back his bangs. She seemed serious. Maybe this was a talk regarding their relationship.. or lack there of. He looked down at her, a sadness edging into his eyes as he nodded. "That's fine." Likely this would hang over his head all night. Another sleepless night was soon to follow. His heart sank some more. A glow distracted him temporarily. Was... that a fire?

QUICKLY OWL HAD AN IDEA A BRILLIANT IDEA " WE NEED COOK PIZZA IN THE FIRE! FLAME GRILL PIZZA." What a fabulous idea! It would also get rid of the rent. Owl reached up her dress to get the pizza she had hidden in there. She then threw it into the fire.

Lumi whimpered slightly when she felt Julian's hand still in hers, she felt him tug on her hand slightly. And then his hand slipped from hers, frowning slightly. She turned back around very very slowly remembering the talk they had in his room after she tried to just rush out his door. Standing close to Julian's left side she tried to hid herself a little bit completely embarrassed at knocking punch all over the ghoul. Biting her lower lip she finally nodded her head, her ears still dropped low, "Uhm...hi Tahki...I...I am really really sorry for not watching where I was going...."Maybe after this she could convince Julian that fresh air would be good for her....maybe she could bolt back to her room...

Tahki had changed in the aggression way but not from field trips. The gryphon had not attended a field trip properly since the first time she came to school and their first Christmas vacation. She had gone to the island but had been stuck on the beach the entire time the rest of her grade encountered hunters. Video games and blogging had been her sport. And occasionally smacking a boil or two. Or beating them up training to fight. But other then that she was pretty much still soft spoken and probably seemed the same on the outside. On the inside Tahki was a ticking time bomb of a monster. She held a hand up to both, "Its fine. Just surprised me really," The hanker-chef was accepted and Tahki began to dry her self off. "Its only punch. I was actually going to dump some on Charlie but I've seemed to..." And then she saw him... and the fire. "Oh dear. There seems to be a fire over there.." She pointed it out to Lumi and Julian and just stared. "We'll need more punch." She frowned at that fire. " lots more.." Tahki calmly walked to the refreshment stand and grabbed the bowl of punch and started toward the fire at a very calm pace. The gryphon dumped the bowl over the fire. Grilled pizza sounded good. But Charlie didn't know where to get pizza here in this party. Then he remembered fire was dangerous and frowned.

 The pizza seemed to only make matters worse, bits of garbage debris splattering in flaming chunks all around the flaming garbage can in a magnificent ring. The tablecloth on the buffet table, (Among other things) was threateningly close to the freshly growing flame. Tahki's punch only seemed to solve part of the problem. Christof, who's job it was to make sure things like this would not happen, turned sharply from where he had been stalking, spying on, thinking about talking to, watching carefully his so-called "ghoulfriend" with a look of horror. If it wasn't the fact he was highly flammable, he'd be on top of that in an instant. Instead, he had a moment of panic and forgetting where he kept the extinguisher.

The pizza had just.. looked so delicious.. so edible.
It had been a mistake to try and dumpster dive for it inside of a fire. ):
At least now he was covered in punch. He licked some of it off.

When he felt her return to his side, Julian glanced at Lumi and gave her a small smile, shuffling a little bit closer and slipping his hand back into hers. It made him sad to see her upset like this, but she was embarrassed and there was really not too much he could do about it besides helping her to get away. And he would do that... Soon enough he figured.
He didn't think she needed to apologize, either, since he had probably done it enough for her, but... Ah well, it didn't hurt.
He snapped to attention, however when someone called out about the fire and he turned to one of the tables laden with food. His eyes widened, but he wasn't too nervous. It was 1. just a little fire, and 2. this was tame in comparison to what he was becoming used to here. Nonetheless, he did gently shove Lumi behind him, his head jerking back to Tahki when she spoke. His eyebrows rose and feathers ruffled a bit in astonishment at her matter-of-fact tone and could do nothing more than watch as she walked over to the punchbowl as if she didn't have a care in the world, took it to the trashcan, and dumped it over the fire.
"Well..." was all her could really say for a moment before looking over his shoulder at Lumi and giving her a small sigh.
"At least your new school is eventful?" He tried to give her a smile, but it was really, really difficult.

Astra was at a loss at how to put out the fire in the trash can. But she did see that the tablecloth was in danger of going up in flames.
Since she didn't want to touch the fire (her clothes and wings were flammable), she decided to try and push the table out of the way.
Moving over the table, she placed her hands on the edge, and began to push.

Tahki was out of punch. She adjusted her headphones once more before deciding to walk away. Mengyao probably was wondering where she was any ways.
But then she noticed him with another ghoul on the dance floor. Tahki decided to not bother him right now. Instead she went ahead and decided to wonder through the crowd of students. Maybe she could find Amrita.

It looked like the bulk of the fire was out, and the buffet table was safe (for the time being) but those stray flames were gaining momentum, threatening to be a larger threat. As the table moved, a crouched gnome appeared blinking up at Astra wide-eyed before bolting over to Tahki to tug at her dress conspiratorially.

Lumi sighed slightly as she felt Julian's hand in hers, her tails seeming to slow down as she leaned against him. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad as long as Julian was at her side, she was at least calming down. That was until Tahki made a comment about fire, and Julian pushed her behind him. Leaning out to look at the fire, her ears twitched slightly as she clung to Julian's hand. Frowning she wondered if she would have been able to have been so calm and took charge like that, "..you still like her...I would too...I...I think I would have gone the other direction if I saw the fire..."Lumi hadn't meant to say that out loud but she really wasn't thinking she was a little mesmerised by the flames that seemed to dance and sway to the music.
